My life is pies. Sweet pies, savory pies, pies of every shape and size.
But much as I love a good pastry, there’s something else I’d rather sink my teeth into. And there’s nothing wholesome about this delight.
My life revolves around Skye High Pies. From starting early in the morning, to going home covered in flour, and whatever filling I’ve been working on that day.
Sure I can afford a better car, but there are pluses to owning a clunker that breaks down on a regular basis. The biggest plus being Seth Adams, owner of Adams Towing.
He told me last time I broke down, that if it happened again, I’d be paying big time. I've got my fingers crossed that my credit card won't be all he's after.

Clunker of a Car. Hunky tow-truck Driver.
Skye is a beautiful, curvy baker that has an old that continues to break down. Luckily the hunky tow truck driver, Seth, is always on the lookout for the beater of a car being stranded.
I thought their story was sweet and loved that Skye cared about helping Seth through his PSTD. The characters went well together and they had some steamy chemistry.
Definitely entertaining and a heartwarming read.

This is one of the sweetest small town romances I have read so far.
Skye owns a bakery and makes some killer pies. She is a bit curvy with very low selfesteem.
The towns mechanic/towtruck driver Seth does not believe anyone could ever love him or live with his PTSD.
Will they find love? Can Seth learn to live with his trauma?
You will not regeret reading this story.

Two broken people with the ability to heal one another Skye loves making sweets she is really good at it but being curvy most of her life and having to deal with others who haven’t always made her feel good about herself since she was bigger than the other girls. Seth sexy as all get out mechanic with PTSD issues, he can’t get over what he has been through and dealing with the nightmares is a constant battle but the moment he meets Skye something changes just being around her brings him a peace he hasn’t felt in a long time. The attraction is instant with each tow he saves her with but is it enough to trust in it because the ghost of his past is hard enough for him to fight will she accept him all of him brokenness and all, will he show her just how beautiful she is curves and all, and will they find happiness?

This is a beautifully written story featuring Skye who owns a bakery and she makes some of the best pie you've ever tasted she has the curves to prove it. Seth is the local mechanic/tow truck driver he's a Veteran who still suffers from PTSD. They meet when her car breaks down and he tows it they're both attracted to each other but they both don't think that they're good enough for the other. Thanks to her crappy pink car they keep meeting up with each other and Seth finally makes a move. When Skye figures out that he has PTSD she looks for ways to help Seth by doing some research. There were definitely some sexy hot ideas to help him. You really need to read this heartfelt story to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this book.

Short, steamy, curvy woman romance...
This was a quick read with lots of steam and misunderstandings. This isn't technically instalove as the story starts and they already know each other. It just builds on their attraction and that both feel the other doesn't like them. The characters are likable and their is definitely chemistry there. I wasn't quite sure where to rate this as I did enjoy reading this, I just felt there was something missing to push it over the top. Recommend if you are looking for a fast read with a decent storyline, steam, and your HEA.

Two wandering lost souls that feel they are damaged and cannot be loved. Sky a plus sized bakery owner and Seth a vetern mechanic with PTSD tip toe around each other wanting each other but afraid neither is worthy of the ither. One night changes all that when he rescues her from her dead car and they get to know each other. Did not care to much for hearing bith points if view as it was just repeating itself a lot.

This is the first book from this series that I have read and I have really enjoyed getting to know Skye and Seth, I loved them as individual characters and loved them together. Their connection showed how strong it was to get them through what they did, their chemistry shone brightly and I don't think I will look at a Cherry Pie the same way again!

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review..I enjoyed this quick story about Skye and Seth.. She runs a bakery and he's a tow truck driver who's had to rescue Skye several times. But Seth is fighting demons that might scare her away. She feels she's not good enough for him. But when she saves him all the breakdowns are worth it. Great HEA in the works

It could have been a good book but....
No spoilers: This book is written in a way that's rather annoying to read. The character is in a car. Next sentence she's in the house. Next sentence she's somewhere else. I get that this is a writing style but there isn't much depth to the book at all and jumping from one place to the next between sentences without reference made for a confusing and annoying read.

Hot fun story. I love the sexual chemistry that permeates the pages. I swear the book would burn if there were anymore heat in it. I loved Seth and Skye. I loved their pov's in the story. Their mutual desire for each other is well written. I was well entertained.

Such a beautiful story of love, lust and trust. You need those in order to survive. You need to read this wonderful story of a man who has PTSD. That is all I will say, if you wish to know more read Break Down. It’s so worth it, but I wish it hadn’t ended so quickly.

Skye owns the bakery and is a curvy girl who has always been made fun of because of her weight so she is self-conscious. Seth is ex military with PTSD and is the local mechanic who keeps working on Skye's little junker car and when she realizes that he has PTSD she wants to help him. What starts out as a friendship quickly turns into so much more.

A fantastic page-turner in the Coogan’s Break series! It is intriguing, engaging, emotionally deep, steamy, witty, funny, and well written. The characters are likeable with sizzling chemistry between them. Definitely recommended!

Short story. FC is curvy and has a bakery and a crap car that breaks down all the time requiring the MC to tow her, they do this often enough to like each other but both lack confidence to actually do anything about it. The first half of the book is her telling herself she’s too curvy for him and him saying he’s too broken with PTSD to have her. They eventually get out of their own way, but it’s exhausting at points. FC handles his PTSD well though.

I really loved this book. This is a short read with great characters, some good chemistry, a good storyline, and a great ending. I truly enjoyed from front to back. I hope you like it as much as I did.

Heart warming fast read
I loved how Seth and Skye got together. It was a bit of miscommunication and understanding that helped them find love and a cute puppy! First time reading this author. I loom forward to reading more!!!

it felt rushed
It felt kinda rushed, and you have to assume some things. It wasn’t terrible, but it really felt surface level and skated by details that cause you to re-read parts thinking you missed something, but it wasn’t there and you need to fill in those parts yourself.

Break down
Car breaks down and love comes to the rescue. Short sweet to the point but with a little steam. Nice story. I liked the little announcement at the end too. It was a fun way to do an epilogue without calling it that.

Short and cute!
This one hit close to home as my hubby is a veteran. Relatable, made me think back on when my husband and I first got together. Loved these characters, just wish it was longer. Just started getting attached to the characters ❤️
