Short Stories by Tom Eland

Rate this book
Reading stories by Tom Eland is like looking under rocks. You never know what to expect, and you're not always sure what you saw. Sometimes you wish you hadn't looked at all. Eland, in fact, drops stones throughout his stories, for you to stumble upon. The F. Hill and D. Thomas in "Lights Out". The missing "k" in "Le Rêve". Calcareous tidbits notwithstanding, you may laugh on one page, cry on another, and hide under the bed on the next. — Thomas L. Silverthorn, author and critic

These were some bizarre stories. Not a book I can recommend as it is a mishmash of oddball tales. The one story I did like was about "Adult Day Care". I bought the book b/c I personally know the author. This collection of short stories gives me a new perspective and a side of him I did not know.
