I won this book in a raffle after attending a talk by Jason Levin. I found him to be an incredibly compelling speaker, and his book is just as compelling. After the talk, I reached out to an old mentor of mine with whom I hadn’t been great about keeping in touch. She responded to my outreach right away, we caught up, and I immediately felt better about my life. This book is full of tips and tricks for keeping in touch that are practical and immediately possible to implement. And while I’m not in the market for a new job, I love how this book also advised on the importance of keeping in touch for the sake of having a richer life.

Sometimes us introverted business people need a good swift kick in the butt reminding us how to make friends but even then, that it’s simple. My favorite anecdote is that no one is a victim if you lose touch with someone over the years and reaching out is okay. Highly recommend if you find networking in the business world a little intimidating.
