Martha Maas and her granddaughter Katie gained fame in the town by uncovering the murderer of one of their community.

Debbie Starkey calls in the Amish Private investigators when her wealthy father's will goes missing.

Matriarch of the Amish community, Martha, does not accept fools easily, just as much as she doesn't accept her granddaughter is not yet married at nineteen years of age. But she and Katie make a brilliant team.

They soon uncover a devious trail of puzzles and clues that they must follow before the allotted time runs out. But to do so, they must get to the bottom of why the butler and housekeeper are hampering their investigations, all whilst dealing with a most unruly horse!

This book caught my eye either in an author newsletter or suggestions from KU, but I’m glad I borrowed it. I really loved Katie’s grandma aka Grossmammi. What a hoot she could be especially when the lady they took a case for took them on a private jet. I can only imagine the amazing charity projects and people in their community they’ll be able to help with the money they earned doing that job. And that job was a hunt that was more like a crazy scavenger hunt. I was guessing this was a standalone, but from the way it ended, it could easily lead into another case, murder the next time!
