Small-town cozy mystery: Live TV wedding + uninvited ducks + cold-blooded murder = the most chaotic fairytale Carolan Springs has ever seen!
Someone else's happily ever after. Anne's biggest case yet. And a sheriff who is making it very hard to concentrate.
The Brandywine Inn is finally getting its moment in the spotlight. Denver's most beloved morning TV hosts have chosen Anne's cozy Victorian inn for their live televised wedding, and all of Carolan Springs is buzzing with excitement. For Anne and her partners it is the celebrity boost they have been dreaming of -- millions in exposure, a packed guest list, and cameras pointed straight at everything they have worked so hard to build.
Then the chaos begins. Disgruntled neighbors, backbiting bridesmaids, shady wedding vendors, and industry rivalries sharp enough to cut a wedding cake. And the inn's resident ducks, utterly indifferent to the production schedule, causing magnificent mayhem at every possible moment.
When what looks like a terrible accident turns out to be cold-blooded murder, the fairy tale tips straight into nightmare. With the whole state watching and the inn's reputation hanging in the balance, Anne has never been under more pressure. And with the handsome Sheriff Carson closer than ever -- warm, steady, and looking at her like she might just be worth the wait -- she is starting to wonder if someone else's wedding might be pointing her toward something of her own.
In this delightfully romantic and twisty cozy mystery, you'll find:
• A live TV wedding that goes gloriously, catastrophically wrong

• Backbiting bridesmaids and shady vendors with secrets to hide
• The Brandywine Inn finally in the spotlight -- for all the wrong reasons

• The most romance in the whole Carolan Springs series -- the slow burn is finally, gloriously catching fire

When it comes to adorable cozy mysteries, Vikki Walton creates lovable characters and charming small towns. In the latest Backyard Farming Mystery, the farming takes backstage to a wedding... Duck Disaster brings together a happy couple, the opening of a quaint inn, and a bathtub full of ducks. Toss in double identities, look-alikes, and a news team who don't seem to like another very much. It ends with a murder, or shall I say, the wedding begins with one. Secrets come out, and there are many layers to this story. Walton's clever mystery plot couldn't be mentioned without calling attention to its leading ladies, particularly Hope, Kandi and Anne, who've grown close over the seven-book series. A lovely story with lighthearted humor and sentiments, a bit of troubling homicide, and an adventure in engagements and marriage. Give this series a chance!

Fun

I would have enjoyed this book much more without the numerous typo's. More fun at the Inn and more than one wedding takes place but with murder in the mix another case must be solved quickly.
