About the author
J.T. Skye
42 books9 followersHi there. I'm Jon Thomas Skye, better known to my friends as J. T.
I love to write stories of heroic quests, ancient prophecies and mythical journeys along roads less traveled. They include grand, military space battles, secret alliances, desperate treachery, vengeance and retribution against the arrogance, elitism and glory hunting found at the highest levels of society.
From pirates, slavers, saboteurs and assassins to elite Warriors, trader families, cargo haulers and the many desperate refugees just trying to escape conscription.
I've loved to read and write science fiction, fantasy and action adventure stories my whole life and am passionate about mainstream Sci Fi, Space Opera, Military Sci Fi, and mythical Fantasy.

A Strong Beginning
A well crafted storyline and character development good enough to provide background even if the previous series has not been read. Solid action scenes, tempered by introspection and some soul searching. Resolution is provided for most story threads with a continuation of the primary story arc. Ends on a promise for more with a lean into the next installment.

Missed. Something
There must be some episode where the characters are better defined that I should have read first. If there is a response to this review please tell me where I can find them.

Exciting and a fun read
Good characters studies and well written. It would have been nice to have a better back story for our hero.

Classic science fiction
Well written and plotted with fully developed characters and nonstop action. Definitely a series worth following, and a prequel might be welcome

Great Read. It draws you straight away and doesn’t let go. Reminds of the early space opera swashbuckling adventures of the early 20th century. Keep them coming.

This book would easily rated 5 stars if it had not ended in a cliffhanger.
