This is a fantastic summary of how to reduce your impact on the environment by making better choices about what you eat. This book is easy reading, very informative and has many extremely interesting facts throughout. In my opinion it is the perfect level of detail to keep everyone engaged. I also love the recipes at the end. Please don't hesitate to buy this book to educate yourself on the matter or give it as a gift to a friend who may be interested in making better choices for the environment.

A wonderful book on how to be planet friendly in choices we make when it comes to food: what we eat, where we get it from, and how we store it.

The one thing I love most about it is that it does not insist, nor sell a lifestyle but merely advocates why we should care and gives very manageable, simple tips to adapt whatever lifestyle you have to make just that little bit planet friendlier. Did you know that if you keep diary products at the back of the fridge makes them last longer? I didn’t, I bet you didn’t too.Or that if you fill your freezer, it will operate more efficiently.

Needless to say, there are more takeaways from this book than tips on storing food or how to read the labels- it is also packed with recipes which I am keen to try out. It really is a fantastic book to go to for an overall overview of what can be done to make our food choices wiser. If you then want to dig deeper, i am sure there are plenty of places you can find more, but if you have to get just one book to introduce you to a planet friendly kitchen, this is the one.

Great book about food shopping in a way that could benefit the environment. It shares information (and some good statistics) without being condescending or preaching about giving up meat. It makes changes seem realistic and easy and I would say most are manageable for everyone, including families. I’ll be trying to incorporate some of these changes into my everyday life as I do care about my lifestyle and my impact on the environment. A lot of people feel overwhelmed about climate issues and how to live in a more sustainable way, this book basically provides several simple, yet impactful, ways to do this.

I loved this book!

Packed full of information and tips for the everyday reader that wants to learn about where food comes from and how to shop in a responsible way that’s better for our planet.

I really liked the tips on how to shop and what the words on food labels really mean.

The recipes look great - my daughter has been through and picked out what we are going to be trying over the next few weeks!

Plus the recipes are vey easy to follow and delicious!!!! A wonderful little gem is this book.
