Tarot Marx had been named one of the best tattoo artists in New Orleans. People came from all over the world just to get inked in her shop, Pins and Sins Tattoos. But slinging ink wasn’t the only thing Tarot was good at. She also had a hand in more nefarious work—Voodoo.
Taught by a powerful Voudon Mambo from a very young age, Tarot embraced the Voudon religion, mastering a unique voodoo only she could create. Cross her, and you may just end up another “freak accident” on the Channel 9 News.
When a man from her past shows up in her chair demanding answers, Tarot is torn between the heartache he left her with and the burning desire she feels every time he’s near her. If her ex showing up wasn’t bad enough, she’s also got a hot cop breathing down her neck, a lover who wants to take their relationship to the next level, and the Spirits angry with her and seeking revenge.
The Spirits are out for blood, and if Tarot can’t figure out a way to fix all the damage she has done, she might just end up losing everything—never finding the man worthy of her dark heart.
Holy crap! I read the first part of the book, and then reordered it for free (thank you Quinn!), to get the finished version. I’m still reeling from a whole lot of, “I never saw that coming!” and an end that would fill any heart, black or not! The voodoo undercurrent and darkness was fascinating, and the sex scenes were 🔥 I loved this book and can’t wait to read all of Quinn’s other books ❤️
I'm sorry to have to write this review but I didn't like this story. It started off really well but then demons fighting each other and arguing over the size of their members. Sorry but it wasn't for me. Too crude.
I enjoyed the beginning and end, I just thought the middle was a bit confusing and disjointing, as I had to keep going back to see who was joined with who. It did take me longer to read this book then it should have.
What the ??? This story was a crazy ride from start to finish. All kinds of twists that'll take you by surprise. The storyline was fantastic and different. This is a really great read. I liked all the varying pieces weaved into the story, the flow, pacing and how it all came together.
Omg I just finished Voodoo and holy smokes that story was so damn good. I absolutely loved Tarot, Easton, Jinx, and Vermin. Each had a reason for love but only true love conquers all dark things. Great Job Quinn!!!!
I absolutely LOVED this book!! Once again Quinn has brought all the feels with her words and that ending was freaking GREAT!! I’m so happy for Tarot. 🖤🔥🧑🏻🎤🔥🖤
*Side note… if you read the first edition of this then read the new edition from the beginning because a few things were changed. 🖤🖤
I love this book. I couldn't put it. It had its funny part then there was heart pounding. It is a little different from what I usually read I really enjoyed it. It's a must read
