Ava Richardson writes epic page-turning Young Adult Fantasy books. She creates lovable characters and drops them into intricate worlds that are barely contained within your eReader. Ava has written 21 YA dragon fantasy series, including her bestselling series Return of the Darkening and her recent series, Destia's Dragon Shifter War.
She grew up on a steady diet of fantasy and science fiction books handed down from her two big brothers – and despite being dog-eared and missing pages, she loved escaping into the magical worlds that those authors created. Her favorites were the ones about dragons; where they’d swoop, dive and soar through the skies of these enchanted lands.
I have read all the Torvald box sets and enjoyed them all. I was born in 1964, the year of the Dragon and have loved dragons and been drawn to them my whole life. These books touched my soul, I even cried like a baby when I thought of any of the dragons dying. Thank you for writing such wonderful books. I recommend them to everyone!
I have read so many dragon books. At first, I was expecting the usual. You know just another dragon meets human, they bond, they fight for the right and after a long time battle scared and almost all of their energy and magic spent, they triumph over evil and "fly into the sunset". This series does that and a lot more! I really enjoyed this read! It is well balanced and fast paced. I would recommend Torvalds Dragon Riding Heroes to anyone who loves dragons, heroes, and a touch of romance!
Incredible and fascinating tales of heroes and villains, love and hate, and dragons. wonderful characters described in details are growing and mature from the very beginning and each storyline is intertwined with the previous one and playing a distant part of their history. A veritable treasure of a box set for anyone loving to read about adventure, true friendship and a belief that we all can live together in peace.
I really enjoyed the charters. The heroin of the story, didn’t really want the job. As they reluctantly get pulled in all directions, finding the right approach involves many adventures and danger. I liked the ending, but not going to spoil it. I really enjoyed the whole series! I don’t have any bad or negative thoughts about these books. Keep writing. Good luck in the future!
What I really enjoyed about this series was that each mini series connected itself to the previous one but kept itself apart (if that makes sense). The characters were amazing, the storylines powerful and of course, the dragons...
I love her stories!!! I just wish she could find an editor or proofreader who had passed jr high grammar. The errors are very distracting. I’m also concerned for young readers who might think it’s OK to let communications stand without reviewing for errors.
The series was awesome but dragged here and there. Just push through or skip those annoying lapses because they aren't long and won't hurt your pleasure in the story
Wonderful Book. Exciting and intriguing. Many twists and turns before getting to the exciting end. I have found my love in reading dragon books and this book was one of my favorites. Thank you for your enjoyment that you give to your readers.
