I’m still on the fence with Gideon but I’m now leaning more on his side than not. That ending left me on the edge of my seat and I hate waiting but I know it will be well worth it. I can’t wait for Shattered to go live on 5/26/22!! 🖤🩸🔥🩸🖤

This is part 2 of Gideon’s story. In part one, the reader gets introduced to the utter, deep, life-sucking despair Gideon exists in. His wife, who was his life, died in a car accident. At least that’s what the official line is. Gideon is a Chicago detective. In the deep-down bottom of his gut, he knows there is more to his wife’s “accident” than he’s been told. In this installment of the story, a little more light is shed on what happened to her. But it’s all still hazy.
He and his partner are also investigating a series of gruesome murders. A few more events happen to advance that story line too. I’m wondering how it ties in with his dead wife and his new girl Meera. Curiouser and curiouser.
Then there is Meera. Meera is a mystery. She just popped into Gideon’s life all of a sudden and has been playing some sort of head game with him since they met. There is definitely something going on with her. I don’t think it’s malicious. I think she really wants to be nice to him. I have my theories of who talked her into whittling her way into Gideon's life. I think she might be a force for good. They become so much more to each other in this part of the story.
And then came the cliffhanger. Natalie Knight, you’re killing me Smalls! Poor Gideon is hanging by a pinky on this cliff. Please type faster, I really need to know what happens next.
If you haven’t read part one, what are you waiting for? It is a really good serial story. Part one was very dark and gritty. Part 2 starts to get lighter because of Meera’s influence. Loving this story.

Seduced is book 2 in ‘The Obsession Series’ and continues the story of Gideon and Meera. This series must be read in order so please read ‘Obsessed’ first. Unlike Obsessed which was told from Gideon’s perspective, this book is told in the dual POV so we learn more about Meera and her life.
WOW! I absolutely devoured this book in one day, I couldn’t put it down! I just love a dark stalker, excessive age-gap romance and this book doesn’t disappoint. The storyline is slowly unravelling, we learn more about the characters, including the secondary ones. After the death of his wife in a car accident which he suspects was murder, Gideon has drank himself into oblivion for the last two years. He meets Meera and she is slowly breaking down his walls and melting the ice around his heart.
I really love the dark and gritty feel to this story. It is so well described, you feel drawn into the story. It is encapsulating and captivating from the very start. The book ends on another gripping and unforeseen cliffhanger that leaves you chomping at the bit. Can’t wait for part 3 of this enchanting tale. Loved it!

Second part in a series (trilogy?) In the first part we got to know Gideon Ross, police detective, widower and, since the death of his wife, alcoholic. He now lives mainly to investigate the death -murder- of his wife. Until one evening he meets Meera, the spitting image of his deceased wife, but much younger. He falls under her spell, while so many other things are going on, and unknown to him, it turns out that it is no coincidence that he has met Meera. In the first part, the suspense is evident. That’s different in this part two. Here, the development of the relationship between Gideon and the much much younger Meera is highlighted. Gideon is a possessive man in his love. It has unpleasant consequences for him because Meera’s adoptive parents are not happy with the relationship.
Written in an attractive style, it reads smoothly and we get to know the characters better. However, it is a pity that more content is not discussed. There are still so many questions, what happened to Gideon’s wife’s death? what’s going on with the case he’s working on, are the disappearances related to the organ trade, why is Meera involved? Part 2 hardly pays attention to this, and while I enjoyed reading it, I do wonder how many parts are left to come to have a finished story.

Okay this Obsession series will keep you on your toes and wondering what/who is next this isn’t a standalone read they read in order and picking up where book one left off pretty much. Just as I stated with book one (I HATE CLIFFHANGERS NOT A FAN OF WATING) now that is out of the way let get started. We get to find out what happened to Gideon’s wife in this …well what really happened to his wife, and he knows it wasn’t just an accident something more is going on add to that the murders they are on to something. Meera the women that is driving him absolutely crazy is still sort of a mystery, I mean know that she was warned to stay away from him but fate has taken over the controls and she can’t stay way a force keeps pulling to him, and her mother is making things more difficult will she have the strength to stand up to her mom, and who murdered her brother, so many secrets that need to be revealed but who will they hurt in the end, will they ever get to the truth surrounding the deaths, and where are they headed?

Having read and been totally enthralled by the first book in Gideon's story I couldn't wait to read this second instalment. I should stress that this is not a standalone story and you do need to have read "Obsessed" first in order to fully understand this riveting story.
The story continues to hold the reader's attention as a little more light is spread on what really happened to his wife - he knows it was more than just an “accident” although things are still hazy. Add to that the investigation into a series of gruesome murders he and his partner are investigating and you'll understand why I couldn't put it down.
Meera for her part is a mystery appearing suddenly in Gideon’s life, in my opinion, something is definitely going on with her but is she a force for good or is she playing head games with him? Alas, I will have to wait to find out as, yet again we are left with a cliffhanger and I for one really need to know what happens next.

This is the 2nd book in the Obsession Series and it continues Gideon and Meera's story. Gideon has never believed that his wife's death in a car accident was really an accident his instincts as a police detective tell him that there's more to it. We do find out what really happened to his wife but Meera is still a big mystery. Meera has been informed that she needs to stay away from Gideon but she chooses to ignore it she's drawn to him. Her mother is making things harder and we need to figure out who killed her brother. There are still alot of secrets left to be revealed and we need to see who gets hurt by them. Are we ever going to get the truth about the deaths? You really need to read this gripping story to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this book and I'm looking forward to the next book and finally having our questions answered.

I'm not a fan of cliff-hangers but the first book was interesting and curiosity got the better of me so I had to read this one. The is a quick read and gives you more information on understanding what makes the two main characters tick. It's not a lot but it's enough to see why they are pulled towards one another. I think because I read the first book, I was looking or anticipating seeing more info on the what happened with his dead wife and also Meera's brother revealed; however, I think it's a better read when you don't have expectations and you're just reading with an open mind. The writing is good and the ending was a great stopping point.

This is part of a series so there's a cliff hanger. This is a quick read that will have you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I recommend reading the first in the series before starting this one but would definitely give this series a read.

Finally just dnfing cuz this book is actually awful and I kept trying and trying to push thru but I simply couldn’t. Not even gonnna rant just gonna leave some quotes for u guys
“Because I wanted to see that slither of scarlett stained on my bedsheets from snatching your virgin cherry.” I let my finger slide between the crack of her ass and held it there. “It’s okay, though. You still have one hole that hasn’t been touched.”

Gideon and Meera s mysterious story continues. On the hunt for the truth about his wifes accident, there's more troubles I store. Woth twist and turns and the Intriguing duel POV (book 1 was soley Gideons) this story keeps you on your toes guessing through out. Must be read as a series.

An entertaining story with heartbreak and drama that pulled me in from the beginning. I especially liked the emotional angst I felt as the story progressed. The characters were captivating in their emotional connection. I enjoyed reading this book.

Gideon is back again with his foul mouth and raw emotions that he continues to capture everyone with! I was a bit upset with the cliffhanger but I love how both him and meera are falling in so deep for each other. He didn’t even realize it to the end how much he needed her and Meera didn’t realize how much she needed him in her life. Especially with dealing with Vivian.

This was a simply amazing read I enjoyed every single moment and found myself to be totally blown away by both the characters and the plot which was so innovative and so cleverly written. If you're looking for intriguing and sexy, this book is it, because the author always kept a steady balance between romance and mystery.

Book 2 is amazing!
This is a series, books just be read in order! Definitely worth a read if you’re into age gap, with a slight daddy kink, bare in mind you will need a fan, as the steamy scenes are well written and hot as hell!
