Evie thought the worst of her problems were behind her, but now struggles to fit into the new world she found herself thrust into after the engagement. Who knew the havoc stress and family would play in the wedding planning process and her health?
Best friends are supposed to be there and encourage you, right? Unfortunately, when it comes to Christopher, not all of them got that memo. Some of the people in his life are making things incredibly difficult and he’s forced into making some drastic decisions.
Bernie is having a harder time adjusting to her new life than anyone realizes, even herself. She’s missing out on things and thinks no one is missing her. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Her biological and chosen family needs her now more than ever.
With all the chaos and tension, is there still hope for a happily ever after?
Content Warning Even Hope Returns is a Romance novel with a happy ending, but there are elements that might be triggering to some readers. One of the characters is an entitled, misogynistic, homophobic jerk. They are dealt with accordingly. This book also includes adult language and some mild violence.
For readers who may be sensitive to these elements, please take note.

This was a passion project that sat on the back burner for a long time, and it grew into something so much bigger than I ever anticipated. I knew one day this story would be told, and while it started as a short story assignment for a college creative writing class years ago, I never saw it growing into a three-part series of 100k+ word books. While this is (in theory) the last book where Evie, Christopher, Bernie, and Charlie will be the ‘leads’ of the story, this is certainly not the last time you’ll hear from or about them. These characters will always be near and dear to my heart, and I love them all too much .
The final book in Evie and Christopher’s love story. These two have been through so much. They are clearly soulmates and Elisabeth Garner sucks you into the world so thoroughly that you feel like you’re going through all of it with them. This story is beautiful.
Ahhhhh so I know this is mostly Evie & Chris’ story but you get so sucked into the other characters as well it’s like your read about real people. I loved reading this series and this one definitely finalized the trilogy Nicely! I’m definitely excited to see more from Quinn! Chris & Evie as usual face sooo many struggles in this book but at the end it’s a HEA and so worth the struggles!!! Bernie & Charlie are still by far my favorite people in the world! Charlie always knows what to say and how to fix things and is not afraid to step in! Bernie is the best friend/sister everyone needs and deserves! I was even happy to see more from Gavin!!! If you have not read this series yet I’m just going to say what’s wrong with you? Get to reading!!!!
This is the final book in the Love Prevails Series. Once again Elisabeth Garner did what she does best. She gives the reader characters you love, cheer for and relate to. You feel their happiness, sorrow and pain. Also her villain is so terrible you feel it in your gut. This book made me laugh and cry ugly tears. It’s so rewarding to have a series that comes together and leaves the reader with a mushy heart at the end. I loved this and the whole series.
This was such a lovely ending to this Trilogy. It gives you all the feels. I'm so excited to know that this isn't the end of this world and look forward to the stories of other character's in this group.
I can’t imagine a better way for the Love Prevails series to wrap up. I’ve never had a book or series I’ve said this about and really truly meant, but I wish I could forget this series and read it for the first time all over again. I can’t wait to see what Elisabeth comes up with next!
This book is the last of the Love Prevails trilogy and that makes me pretty sad to say goodbye to some of my favorite characters of all time. The author, to whom I lovingly refer to as a magician and the queen of twists, created people that leap off the page and become your new best friends, and some enemies for life, some who redeemed themselves, and some who are as corrupt as a person could be. They go through hell and back but in the end you will see that Love really does prevail. This book and the rest of her trilogy 'sucks' you in at the start, then 'throws' you for a loop till your 'winded' from reading a book. 😉
This book (the whole series) will have you feeling all the emotions. It's a story about love and hope, but it's also about forgiveness and finding your strength. It's about a found family. About staying true to yourself and surrounding yourself with people who allow you to do that.
I usually read books with spice (and these are not spicy), but each book had me gripped. I had to know what happened. Even Hope Returns was no exception. Great book. Wonderful, heartwarming series. You will not be disappointed.
What a great completion to this series! This book is the epitome of - nothing worth having is easily received. i think thats how it goes. Lol. Forgiveness is a powerful thing. And love conquers all. It was so nice to finally see Chris and Evie get their happy ending! E. Garner has such a unique way of writing , truly original. I cant wait to see what she comes up with next!
Such a lovely ending to Charlie, Bernie, Evy and Christopher’s stories. A surprise twist and a very happy ending Elisabeth Garner keeps you hooked on the third and last book of the Love Prevails trilogy. I love as always the representation that Garner has throughout all her books and her writing feels effortless in how the story flows.
