It tackles feelings of desire and dark passion through the lens of love and lust.The poems take us through this journey. Letting our minds and hearts wander throughout this lustful escape. Searching and yearning at each and every turn for a new encounter or blushing moment.... maybe a few hot and bothered ones as well.

All the poems in ValENDtine can be found throughout all my prior collections including some from my online postings.

In addition to these poems, I also have written several new ones that are exclusive only to the ValENDtine collection.

I dont normally read poetry like this but it was fun to give it a try. Its very nsfw yet still intimate in a way thats still poetic and not just straight "spice". Hydrus's poetry reads like a fairytale almost , kind of cryptic, a little mystical, dream like yet very visual. Love it. Would recommend if youre in the mood😮‍💨

My goodness. This one should probably stay on the night stand. ValENDtine is a daring blend of steamy and provocative poetry paired with cleverly captured images that will hold your mind hostage and may leave you feeling heated. Hydrus’ words delivers an intriguing exploration of erotic sensuality and at times delves into the dark desires.

This is the first time I have ever tabbed a book. It was necessary! Every verse was seductive and intimate in the best ways. I would even recommend this be shared or read together with a partner. If you haven’t explored Hydrus’ work yet and you love exploring spicy reads, you will want to start with this book.

WOW! I never thought I would start reviewing a poetry book with the word WOW, but damn this is not only an hauntingly beautiful poetry collection, but it's also scorching hot and bewitching.

This is definitely a book to keep on your nightstand.

It is not a book to be read only once.
No, this is something you can read whenever you want to relax and enjoy something special.

Excuse me, did you know that smütty poetry existed? Me neither, and now I have a new obsession. This book SHOCKED me, it was so hot & steamy but beautiful and poetic. This was honestly exactly what I needed right now because it was meaningful and spicy, but also a very quick read which really helped me mentally because of my slump. I kid you not, I read this is one sitting (without moving) because I simply couldn’t stop reading & turning the pages. If you want something spicy, quick, and beautifully written, I would highly recommend checking this out. This book of poetry is a lover and a giver.

It’s a smirk on your face, a secret of the night before, or the morning. It’s a flush face and a fast heartbeat.

This book of poetry is fucking foreplay.
Maybe even more…depending on your mood. 🏁

The format is stunning, I look forward to the format every time and it never disappoints. Wether it’s candy hearts in black in white or something more erotic, every page added to the eroticism of the words.

Seductive words! What a collection, this is one of my most anticipated reads of the year. I was not disappointed, such a sensual and erotic collection. The fire is palpable with his words, stimulating our brain with his lustful words. The surrendering to our carnal desires, to that physical connection. But it’s not just erotic or sexy, it’s also about the connection of two souls. There is love, trust and pure sensuality in this collection. Like always I’m mesmerized by his words and look forward to more of him.

There’s something so enticingly sexy about Poetry….Poetry breathes life into the most mundane of words….But there is something even more breathtaking about Steamy Poetry.

I’m a great lover of words….how they fit situations, how they make you FEEL and how they have the ability to take your mind on a delicious journey as you breathe in each and every page. Hydrus is synonymous for exactly this. It’s his trademark and he’s exceptionally good at it. I love to feel his words, and his latest work ValENDtine is highly evocative and hotly anticipated. What I got as each page unfolded was a greater depth of the highly sensual and steamy accounts as each poem was cleverly articulated into some of the best work I have ever read.

Hydrus’s words will awaken you in a way that will have you breathing in each page…and each of his works my enticing as the page before it. This book is feast of the mind….it will awaken your senses and leave you with yearning to sin as each of the words held within. I’m thoroughly intoxicated by this book and his words…this book is THE perfect bedtime accompaniment- and I can’t wait to revisit every page.

Steamy, erotic, full of passion, lust, and a dash of sweetness.

I think I may have underestimated how steamy/erotic I thought this book was going to be…and I’m not upset AT ALL!

I’m so in love with Hydrus’s style of poetry - the rhythmic, short-lined pieces are different compared to most poets nowadays. I also think the pictures (and subject matter of the pictures) are spot on in every way, and adds to both the individual poems and book as a whole. It’s a well-constructed book from an analytical perspective!

But of course, we have to talk about the emotional elements of ValENDtine… When I say this book is steamy, I mean you can practically see it wafting from the pages! I may not be well-versed in sex by any means but I was certainly blushing reading most of this book! If you want a guilty pleasure read to keep by your bed for the nights you’re a little too lonely, ValENDtine is the perfect companion!

Overall, I honestly wouldn’t probably have read this book if it wasn’t by Hydrus because erotic things aren’t normally what I gravitate to. However, I now can’t imagine reading another book like ValENDtine, feeling that way, and still walking away happy to have read it.

Ooh la la! Hydrus sexiest collection yet? indeed it was! He released a compilation of the sexiest poems from previous as well as poems from his ig and of course some new ones never before published!

If you like poetry, this is a collection you don’t want to miss! It’s super sexy. I’ve never read a poetry book like this one before. It was interesting to see this side of poetry. Some of the poems were real fire. I highlighted a lot of them but my favs were for sure the ones that rhymed yet still had such a good visual. Reading this collection was definitely an experience.

You can never go wrong with Hydrus's words. As always this was a breathtaking reading journey enhanced by the more erotic and taboo aspect of the poems. I took my time with it and let every word soak into my mind. The emotions and visuals this poet manages to awake is insane. I blushed, I fanned myself, my pulse sped up countless times, I closed the book only to come back to it and reread the same poem and experience the sensations again and I hid it from my kids🤣🤣
I am already on the second reread and I just know it won't be the last. Instead of daily inspirational quotes I choose this poetry collection or any other by Hydrus to jump start my day or to put me into a satisfied slumber at night!!

I will always praise and recommend this poet's work because it is like a fresh breeze over what poetry usually looks like.

This was a sinfully delicious and thrilling mindfuck.

I love how poetry allows us to see the beauty in everything, even the strange. It allows us to break boundaries and feel the emotions that the writer is evoking. It let's us engage in our imagination and indulge in our deep-seated desires.

The only thing I was missing was that the poems were more elaborated, buliding up the tension instead of jumping right on to the action. I also have a hard time with poetry that rhymes but that's just my personal opinion.

I was gonna say that this poetry collection is gonna leave you blushing but I won't. Instead I'll say, life is to short to not free your wild side from time to time. Go read this one in bed ;)
