Jonah should have been happy, after surviving a whole year with the handsome, dangerous and exciting vampire, Lord Roman. After battling with the shifters and a near death experience with a witch the year before, Jonah’s now much closer to the love of his life, Roman—or at least closer than they’d been in over a hundred years. But there was still a distance between them that Jonah can’t seem to breach. Roman hasn’t completely forgiven him yet, nor does he trust him, and Jonah wonders if he ever will, or if he's just spinning his wheels. Then out of nowhere comes another mysterious and shocking encounter with the Light Seraphs—one that takes both Jonah and his memories away, leaving Roman to believe Jonah has betrayed him yet again.
This time when they meet in battle, Roman is determined to kill his former lover, but can he do it? Or are his feelings for the beautiful, complicated Jonah just too strong? A vampire wedding, red wings, and revelations about Jonah’s past, along with a dangerous new character, brings more deception, more betrayal and even murder to Jonah and Roman’s lives. The truth about Jonah has to emerge, and Jonah and Roman need to forge a new trust and a new alliance, or they won’t survive.
Cardinal Sin has scenes of action, violence, humor, and romance, along with a guaranteed happy ending.
This book and the first in this series comprise one story and it’s a great story at that. I enjoyed these two books but I will warn you that this story has a lot of twists and turns. No sooner did I think I knew what was going on than something else happened. A lovely wild ride of a read. Enjoy
2 short novellas in this series that really should be read in order as they follow each other closely and are on the same 2 MC's. Very entertaining and looking forward to the next book coming out this summer with Marcus' story.
This book was terrific. Just like the first one. I'm so glad there is a sequel. I've grown fond of the characters. The storyline is unpredictable and very interesting. I highly recommend it.
