Aight, I guess
Firstly, I didn't like Camille, she had a horrible attitude and disposition. Jahad was to grown and mature for her. Secondly, I know this was a short story, but things were brought up that should have been addressed in some kind of way and if they couldn't be then they shouldn't have been brought up. The situation with his little brother, the DA chick, his sons Mother, even the Drew guy. They were brought up like something more would happen, but turned out to be just fillers, they were talked about then just disappeared. I couldn't find the chemistry between the characters, they had sex, he bought her stuff then they were in love, no real relationship was being built. Once again I didn't like Camille, she was kind of ignorant, immature and entitled, causing scenes for no reason. Besides sex what did Jahad see in her, and why didn't he have any friends. Not a fan of this one.

GOOD READ
This was a nice quick read. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. Both Camille and Jahad had the same mentality when it came to relationships. They wanted no parts of it. Just get their needs met and thats it but once they encounter each other, all bets were off. What was supposed to be a one night stand, turned into feelings getting involved. I loved Camille and her don't take no mess attitude. Jahad definitely exuded BDE in this story and he let Camille know it everytime in the bedroom. I loved everything about him. He knew Camille was the one and he proved it with a happy ending and a beautiful blessing.

I really liked this story even though Camille worked my last nerve. She was so quick to pop off and lay hands on folks. The way she acted with that old couple at that restaurant was ridiculous. Now I absolutely loved Jahad. He was exactly what Camille needed. He gave her the right energy to get her to act like a grown-up. Both Jahad and Camille had crazy exes. They showed up and caused some issues, then dipped. I definitely thought Camille's ex was gonna cause more issues than he did. I want more on Jahad's little brother. I need to know if he got himself together or what. I have read several books by this author and haven't been disappointed.

This was a cute holiday read and I really enjoyed it… Jahad was the man and definitely had all his ish together something Camille wasn’t used to. I was so glad when Camille stop fooling herself because she was just as invested in Jahad… The chemistry, the spice it was all so good.

This one started off strong. I was really feeling Camille's energy, in and out like a boss. Just here for the D, no time for feelings. I like that she knew what she wanted and moved accordingly. Then came the table incident at the Soul Food restaurant. What the hell was that?? Talk about unnecessary. First of all, how did she know the couple was at the exact table that she and her friend reserved? This is not addressed. Furthermore, was it the only table in the restaurant? Could she not wait a few mins for another table? Had she not eaten for forty days and forty nights?? It defied comprehension. Her wanting to fight an elderly couple over a table was so crazy it wasn't funny. Then there was the bar. Jahad told her to tell them he sent her. At the time, she didn't know he owned the bar, so how does that equate to her telling them her drink is on the house, and flipping her hair and all that? Girl! The bartender was dead wrong, but Cam's attitude didn't help either. I'm not sure what about either of these crazy incidents led Jahad to decide he wanted her to be his lady. I would have been heading for the exits as I am deathly allergic to ghetto. Make better decisions, Jahad. This is literally how you end up with baby mamas you can't stand. Cam calling JJ's mother ghetto was absolutely hilarious...like she had room to talk. The stuff with the school, even though she was passionate about her students, was the par the course for her not knowing how to regulate her emotions and express herself like someone who wasn't unhinged.
Still, we all know some men like these kinds of women, and I didn't want to abandon the book, so I pressed on. It really felt at first that Cam was just falling for Jahad because he was spoiling her, even though yes, the sex was good. For his part, he knew what he wanted, showed her he would provide, and put his money where his mouth was. Towards the end of the book, we understand why Cam kind of reacts first and is super defensive, and I mean I guess. I would still want no parts. Like Jahad told her, she's too grown to be outside acting like that. Either way, Jahad decided that's who he wanted and they got there in the end. The ending was cute. Hopefully, Jahad's love (and maybe a therapist) helped Cam to heal from her trauma.

🤎📚I absolutely enjoyed this Valentine's Day Romance Novella! It gave me all of the feels and might I add Camille can be so unhinged (0 to 1000 real quick), she does not play! REMEMBER THAT! I loved how Jahad aka Jizz could put her in her place but still love her into her soft girl era. I think every woman has a little bit of Camille in them and some men should definitely have a big does of Jahad in them when it comes to caring, treating, spoiling and showing a woman love and to pursue the woman with a purpose & intentionality. 📖Think about a woman being at her wits end at finding love and being in love, so she makes a promise to herself to not fall in love and just have relations with whomever she pleases, but what happens if that changes because the RIGHT one finally comes her way, will she stick to her word, will she run a good man off, will she succumb to love and fall into her soft girl era with all of his loving traps up his sleeve? RUN TO READ THIS ON KU NOW! What are you waiting for, don't read anything else, after all it is VALENTINE'S DAY! Love is in the air.

Thanks for giving our black Mena good character, I really enjoy a thug,but to have him be responsible, respected, respectful evenin the mist of the madness was it for me. Jizz, knew what he wanted and he had no qualms about going after what he wanted. Camille has sworn off men because of all the nonsense she has allowed to take part of her being. I really enjoyed her passion with what she loved in her profession, and her letting the shield she had around her heart to melt and let a real one cuff her. I wouldn't mind seeing these characters again cause Tamia needs a story. Please🤗🤗🤗

I loved this read. It was short but didn’t leave out any details. Camille thought she was about to give up on love until Mr. Right took her world by storm. I enjoyed this book from the beginning to end. Did I want a little more, yes but it was a novella so I was happy. You know a book good when you laughing, giggling and swinging your feet off the bed lol.
Jahad knew what he wanted and how to get it. The only song stuck in my head while reading was UGK ( I Choose You). I loved Camille and how she didn’t let anyone play with her. That BDE along with a few successful businesses had Camille singing a different tune.

After meeting in a nightclub on his birthday and having a one night stand that all changed. She tried to keep it simple but she knew she wanted to be in a relationship with that man. Jahad was ready for a relationship before she was. He moved on her timing though. Jahad had his hands in all kinds of businesses. He had a soul food restaurant, a bar and a barbershop. This was short a sweet. I loved how Jahad was coming behind Camille. It’s always when you close your self off to love is when you find there perfect person for you. No matter how hard Camille tried to fight it Jahad was getting her one way or another. The way they both brought balance to each other and the feelings were mutual without having to be said. Jahad had a lot going on with him being pulled in many directions. When ever it came to his girl he was making a way. A the way he needed a moment and Camille drop everything and run showed she knew what it was and wanted to be that person for him just as he was that person for her. It was fast as mess but it flowed good.

While he had to make a clean cut from his past situations, he came full force for Camille. Showing her that she was worth the time and the effort. She wanted it to just be a hookup situation until he wore her down. This book was so cute.

Camille wasn't looking for a relationship after dealing with her ex but Jahad knew what he wanted and wasn't going to back off until he got what he wanted. Camille was a little feisty at times but I liked how Jahad was quick to put her in her place and seemed to be the only one who could. I liked that he took what he got from the streets and turned it into legit businesses to become a real boss and didn't mind spending it on Camille either.
It was also nice that although there wasn't a lot of on page dates between them, we did see them communicate with each other and were the one the other called when they were having a bad day. I thought it was cute how he winded up introducing her to his mother too. Overall, this was a fast paced read with lots of spice and a cute ending which I enjoyed.

Jahad Wasn’t Playing
I like how from day one Jahad made his intentions clear to Camille regardless of how she tried to put up resistance. He dated her with purpose showing her that he was serious that she was the one for him and that marriage was his end goal for them. Like the fact that I got my baby at the end too!

This was a nice V-Day book. I believe this is my first read from this author and I will definitely look into more books of theirs. I love how Jahad knew Camille was the one for him! He went all out for her and didn’t want anything in return. Their happy ending was cute as well.

Good read.
Short, fast paced love story between a woman who didn’t want love and a man who wanted it all. Jahad gave up all of his hookups for Camille and got her to fall in love with him. This was the first book that I’ve read from this author and I would definitely read more of her books.

This was an excellent book. It kept my attention the entire time and it's a quick read. I really enjoyed this story, it was hard to put down. Camille and Jahad made a great couple. This is a great Valentine's novel if you’re interested in these types of books.

Enjoyed this short love story. Despite her past hurt Camille eventually let her walls down and allowed Jahad to love on her the way a man should his treat their Queen, he showed her what a real man was all about so happy they got their happily ever after
