About the author

Lola Gabriel loves reading and writing paranormal romances. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, she has fond memories of retreating to the woods for long hikes. The towering evergreens, natural waterfalls, and soothing rain often set the scenery for her characters' romantic encounters.

*Lola Gabriel was created by a group of friends who all write under the nom de plume. For the sake of simplicity, we use “she” and “I” for Lola’s communication.

Lola Gabriel has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Elysa and Simeon. Elysa hears her alpha's advisors planning to kill him. She goes to tell him but he doesn't believe her. She goes to see Simeon, the ruler of all the packs in the area. when she gets to see him, he doesn't want to help her because of the pack she is from. She tells him that she would go to the High Ruler Cora. Things don't go the way Elysa wants them to go. She ends back up at Simeon's when Cora brought her back and told him to deal with her and if anything happened to her then he would not like what she would do. She tells him that Elysa was going to be staying with him. Simeon didn't like what he was being told. At first, Simeon doesn't want anything to do with Elysa. He gives her one of the worst guest rooms away from anything. She stays away from him and starts her research. He ends up helping her after a while but they don't get the information they need. They just run into more questions about Armand's advisors. The more time they spend together, the more Elysa's feelings for Simeon change. She is attracted to him. Simeon is attracted to Elysa. They end up sleeping together thinking it would just be the one time. They check out one of the leads they have but it doesn't plan out the way they want. Simeon has to go to a meeting and tells Elysa that he would be back soon. During the meeting, Simeon finds out that Armand has been killed. He goes back and tells Elysa about Armand They get into an argument. She feels like they should have done more to try and save Armand but Simeon tells her he needed proof of what was going on. Simeon says some things that make her think that they can't work things out. Elysa gets it into her head that she has to leave. She sneaks out the window and runs. She winds up in a village and gets help from Marie. Simeon comes home and finds out that Elysa is gone. He starts a search for her but doesn't find her. Elysa calls her cousin Will and that is how she is found by her pack. They come after her. Simeon gets word that Elysa has been found. Simeon and a bunch of his pack go after her She hears a bunch of shifters talking about taking Simeon out of power. She knows she has to warn him somehow. She tries to call him but it just goes to voicemail. When she fells some of her pack around, she knows she has to leave or they will hurt her. She runs and she hears wolves howling for her. She runs toward the wolves and sees Simeon. Her pack is following her and Simeon tells Dex to get her to safety. Simeon and his team are outnumbered and they know they have to fight. Dex is a dragon and he takes Elysa and leaves. Things happen and Dex is attacked. He can't fight as he needs to with Elysa on his back. He is trying to keep her safe. Simeon feels that Elysa is in danger and goes to find her. What he finds is Dex fighting so he goes to get Elysa. When Elysa is off his back, Dex lets the wolves attacking him have it. When things are over, Salvador is found out to be the one who was behind all the problems and who wanted Armand dead. Salvador had wanted power and thought with him being Alpha, he would get it. He got greedy and wanted to take Simeon out also.
Will Elysa and Simeon work things out between their pack and themselves?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Review of Wolf’s Enemy

Another Big Wow!

Lola Gabriel – Wow! Her writing just keeps getting better and better! In this third book of the Eternity Shifters series, she has continued this trend, creating an intense story with wonderful characters and world building.

Elyse, standing at five-foot-two or maybe less, is a relatively small wolf shifter in the Blood Moon pack. She suffers from Monkshood disease, which flares up every decade or so, which also stunted her normal growth. However, just because she’s small, that doesn’t mean she’s weak. In addition, her small frame packs some delicious curves. While working in the bar owned by family and run by her uncle Tanner, she is preparing to deliver food to the three advisors to the pack Alpha, who are dining in a separate room from the rest of the bar. She overhears the three men planning to kill Armand, the Alpha of their pack. She went directly to Armand and tried to convince him of what she had overheard, but he refused to believe her.

Knowing that the loss of the Alpha would throw the pack into disarray, she then went to the Wolf Ruler of their region, Simeon. He was also the Alpha of the Strong Claw pack, bitter enemies with her pack. Like Armand, he also refused to believe her, forcing her to go to Cora, who was the High Ruler of their region, over all the shifters in the region. To Simeon’s surprise, Cora knocked on his door the following morning with Elyse slung over her shoulder and essentially ordered him, as the Wolf Ruler, to help investigate Elyse’s claims.

Disgruntled, Simeon picked the guest bedroom that was the farthest from his to have Elyse stay in. Although, he kind of liked the way she smelled; in fact, her smell was permeating the entire house. Elyse, for her part, relentlessly pursued every lead she could dig up, especially when Simeon allowed her access to his records. She also notices how nice Simeon smells. Can the two of them work together to determine why and how the plotters plan to murder Armand in time to stop them?

The world building in this book was outstanding and the character development was equally so. The story has everything that you would expect from Ms. Gabriel; it has subterfuge and mysteries, romance and steam and wonderful characters. Although this is the third book in the Eternity Shifters series, it’s not necessary that you read the first two books before you read this one, but they do help you understand the rules of how the shifter world works. Besides, I suspect that you’ll love this book so well that you’ll want to pick up the other books in the series.

'Wolf's Enemy' by Lola Gabriel is the third book in her Eternity Shifters series and tells the story of Elyse, a member of the Blood Moon pack, and Simeon, Alpha of the Strong Claw pack. Elyse is working at her family's bar serving food and drinks when she overhears three clan advisors planning on killing their Alpha, Armand. Elyse tells Armand what she overhears but he doesn't believe her and scoffs it off. Elyse has no choice but to go to the Region Ruler, Simeon, for help. Unfortunately the Ruler is also the Alpha of her clan's enemy. Would he even be willing to help?

Simeon couldn't believe when Elyse came to his house asking for help. He told her no and sent her away even though she threatened to go to Cora, High Ruler of the territory. Simeon just laughed. But the next day Cora showed up with a drugged Elyse asking Simeon why she was dealing with petty clan issues. Cora told Simeon to take care of the problem and protect Elyse as well. She might be in trouble because she discovered the assassination plot. Simeon couldn't believe Elyse went to Cora and now Cora is making her his responsibility. Luckily Elyse is easy on the eyes.

Ms. Gabriel always delivers. This is an engaging addition to her series. The story has laughs, secrets, trust issues, passion, and plenty of steam. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who likes some drama with their romance.

Ms. Gabriel has delivered another wonderful story with characters that grab your attention quickly and has you hoping that true love can win again. 

WOLF’S ENEMY is the third book in the Eternity Shifters series and just as exciting as the others. You will be flipping the pages quickly in this well-written storyline that flows smoothly from the start to the end. There is a great combination of action, drama, even some witchcraft thrown in and some light, steamy romance.

Elyse overheard something she shouldn't have and knows she needs to do something. She has to find someone to help in order to save her pack's future. Unfortunately her small stature has everyone, even her family treating her like a child so no one believes her.

Simeon is the Ruler of all wolf Shifters in his region and alpha of his personal pack.  A wolf from an enemy pack has come to ask his help to save her alpha. Even as he humors the little wolf, he secretly feels it's all a wild goose chase 

There is a lot of secrets, twists and turns before Elyse and Simeon can confront what is really going on and keep all the packs from exploding into all out war.

I'm already looking forward to Filip's story in Book Four of the Eternity Shifters series.

Elysa is a wolf shifter working in bar when she overhears a plot to kill her Alpha. She goes to her Alpha, but he doesn't believe her. This has Elysa going to Simeon who is their Ruler. Yet again she isn't listened to so when she goes above him everything changes, and she wakes up back at Simeon's place. She is left there for him to deal with her and to protect her in case someone goes after her. Sparks fly between them as they work together to try and figure out what to do next. Its not long before they give into temptation and are together. Things spiral out of control when there is an uprising of shifters that want to take Simeon down. Will they figure out what to do about her Alpha before its too late? Can they be together?

This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

After hearing her packs advisors plotting to kill their Alpha, Elyse tells him but he doesn’t believe her so she goes to the ruler of the wolf shifter packs. Simeon.
Simeon is a Ruler and a pack Alpha, his pack and the Blood Moon pack have been enemies forever, but haven’t fought for at least thirty years so when Elyse tells him what she has heard, he tells her he doesn’t believe her and to go away. So, she goes over his head to the next powerful person who promptly renders her unconscious and returns her to Simeon telling him to look into the problem and to keep her alive as she may be in danger.
Neither of them likes the other, but as they spend time together trying to find evidence, they start to see each other in a new light.
Great book with twists and turns to keep the reading turning the pages to the end.

Elyse over hears a plot but her Alpha will not listen so she goes to Simeon the ruler of the wolf packs.
Wolf shifter Elyse was carrying trays of food to the side room when she over hears a plot to kill her Alpha but when she reports it to him he refuses to believe her. She does what she hoped to avoid and goes to see Simeon the Ruler of all the wolf packs in the area but whose pack is considered the enemy of her pack.Simeon is also dismissive so she then tries the High Ruler and she takes Elyse back to Simeon telling him to sort it out. Reluctantly Simeon starts to investigate but they struggle to find a motive for the conspirators but do find an unwanted attraction forming between them.

Elyse went to serve her alpha’s advisors in the bar where she worked at and overheard them wanting to kill their alpha. She went and told her alpha what she heard and didn’t believe her so she went to Simeon who was the Ruler he didn’t believe her either so she went to the High Ruler but was dumped back on Simeon to take care of the problem. They started investigating the ones involved but not fast enough the alpha still was killed. They had a disagreement and she ran but she had one of her episodes from her illness, they also realized they were mates. Had to put down a rebellion and working on the other things as needed. Great book!

When Elyse overhears a plot to kill the Alpha, she heads to tell the Alpha and the Ruler who turn her away. Not to be left undeterred she goes to the High Ruler to tell what she her heard, but is sent back to the Ruler, Simeon, but they were not to stop the plan. While Elyse and Simeon continue the push and pull while trying to determine the truth of the rumors, the realize what they are to each other.

This is a great story that is filled of the unknown, danger, suspense along with the passion and love. Great story from the first line.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW of the third book in the Eternity Shifters series by Lola Glass, Wolf's Enemy. This is a relatively quick read that is fast paced and loaded with twists. When Elyse overhears a plot to kill her Alpha, she tries to sound a warning. Up the ladder she goes from Alpha to Ruler to High Ruler, only to find herself back with Simeon who grudgingly accepts her under his roof because it is commanded by the High Ruler. This great addition to the series offers interesting twists as Simeon and Elyse come to care for one another.

This book 3 in The Eternity Shifters Book Series has a steamy standalone shifter, enemies-to-lovers, romance story with a strong, silent and irresistibly sexy alpha male and a resilient female. This very well written book has characters who are amazingly well crafted with well-developed histories. This has a wonderful storyline and explicit love scenes. The characters in this book are well constructed with issues which they resolve and the characters grow throughout. Can she make him see the danger in time to help him and keep them both safe. Wolf's Enemy is book three in the Eternity Shifters series and is Simeon and Elyse's story. When Elyse overhears about a plot to take out her alpha she lets him know but he didn't believe her so she goes above him to Simeon and he doesn't care because he doesn't even like her pack. Things take an interesting turn when Elyse goes above him and Simeon is forced to deal with it. I am really enjoying the Eternity Shifters series and that each of the stories is packed with danger, suspense, steam, and unexpected twists. From the great writing to the interesting characters this is a great addition to the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

This is book three of the Eternity Shifters Series and continues with another book with strong and well developed characters, excellent world building, and an interesting story. Elyse belongs to the Blood Moon pack, but she is never taken seriously because she is female and petite. When she hears about a coup to over throw her Alpha, she must go to her adversaries, the Strong Claw Pack and their ruler, Simeon. Good read!

The command to love thine enemy just took on a whole new meaning. They say good things come in small packages and so does dynamite when it comes to feisty female wolf shifters . Great story that will keep you entertained from the first page right to the last. Appearances can be very deceptive so even big strong tough hyper alpha wolves can get things very very wrong . A brilliant story /shifter world that I would love to read more from

This was very average, but I'm curious about all the 4-5 stars review. I want to know why others found this engaging or etc.
It failed to capture my attention from the beginning.
The heroine wasn't my type, a little stiff and a do-gooder type...standoffish too.
Was there chemistry between the MCs? It didn't feel very nice, nor was it...sexy...felt kind of forced?
The male lead was also...unintimidating or "cool alpha" - AT ALL.
This didn't scream enemies to lovers, more like...2 shifters who got off on the wrong foot.

This book, by an author who can always be relied on to deliver stories that are different and enjoyable, did not disappoint, the characters are well-drawn and interesting and the plot is written in such a way that you find yourself immersed in the lives of Simeon and Elyse, I become hooked and didn't want to put my Kindle down. The plot has enough suspense, action, danger and love to satisfy and features witches and fae as well as shifters.

This book is so exciting, from the start to the end. I loved how intelligent and full of spirit Elyse is. Simeon didn’t know what hit him. I loved watching how their feelings about each other changed. The author was so good at masking who they needed to be wary of. I couldn’t stop turning those pages, didn’t want to miss anything.

When Elysa hears of a plot to kill her alpha, she seems out Simeon to help. They instantly don't like each other, but sometimes love comes when you least expect it. Wolf’s Enemy is book three in the series Eternity Shifters by author Lola Gabriel. So this one is kind of like Romeo & Juliet with the Hatfields & McCoy’s thrown in. If you’re or old enough to know those two groups - google them.
Anywho, is a sweet little tale with a twisted journey that leads to many surprising results.

Fantastic Story!!

I absolutely loved this one too. Loved the characters and storyline so much. Except for the ones that were ruthless. Greed it’ll get you every time. Simeon and Elyse were such a strong couple and I’m so happy how the story ended. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜😊😊😊😊😊
