I am loving the 52-Week Intention Journal. I started it on April 1 and I am following along with the Facebook group: Attitude of Gratitude with Chronic Pain Journaling Club. We are currently exploring the Japanese concept of ikigai (which also happens to be the topic of week 2 of the journal). I enjoy doing the writing practice by myself at my own pace and I also like to know what others are doing. The interaction is helpful and fun. I plan on having this journal with me as I go thru 2022 and beyond.
First this book will blow your mind in how beautiful it is! While the topic of the book is deeper than skin deep - you will look forward to the presentation of the book.
Diving in, the prompts are helpful. There are quotes and small inspirational readings that will set your mind for the journaling portion. This isn't a book to rush, but to savor. Keep it close by and start a new habit - if you want to journal but don't know what to write, this is a great way to start - it can help you start the habit in a deep and meaningful way.
Also, the author is an amazing soul who has created a place on Facebook for those who have chronic pain to have a safe haven - a place to learn and share about the gratitude in their life. I've been a member of the group for a while and highly recommend it to my friends - Attitude of Gratitude with Chronic Pain - there are lots of prompts no matter what your favorite style of gratitude and journaling!
