Dungeon Jest: The Ruby of Power

Rate this book
As court jester of the Kingdom of Opulentos, you, Stultus Insanis Rusticus (or “Stulty,” as you are known throughout the kingdom), have lived your life for one purpose: to entertain the royal family. The happiness you have brought the kingdom has made you the most popular fool in the realm.

That is, until now . . .

After a minor misunderstanding, you are punished with a seemingly impossible quest: to obtain the fabled Ruby of Power. Armed with nothing but your wit and a few basic items, you must brave a labyrinth, battle monsters, avoid deadly traps, and retrieve the artifact for the glory of the King and Queen Opulentos.

This is a choose your fate, dice-rolling battle book where every decision could be your last…

NO SPOILERS IN HERE :) For what it's worth I bought the hardcover and think it's of excellent quality. The illustrations are top notch and the world/characters are built extremely well.

This book was a blast! I initially bought this for my wife and returned home to find her rolling dice, notes and scribbles spread all across the table, with her intently focused on her next part of the journey. When she finished her journey through the book, all she could say was "I hope there's another one of these to come!".

An absolutely fantastic piece of work, you will not be disappointed.

Yes! I finished the quest!
This book is so much fun. I used to read choose your own adventure books as a kid, but I never read one with dice rolling so there was a bit of a learning curve.
It was exciting, frustrating, rewarding, and full of giggles.
10/10 would recommend.
