MacArthur was a fifth-generation pastor, a popular author and conference speaker, and served as pastor-teacher of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California beginning in 1969, as well as President of The Master’s College (and the related Master’s Seminary) in Santa Clarita, California.
After reading this book, which is in bible study format, I determined I was really looking for a narrative explaining the text. The bible study format used in this book struck me as a collection of “sound bites” strung together that gave me no increased understanding of the text. I would recommend, if you are looking for a narrative explaining the text, this is not it.
This study by John MacArthur is really helpful to give you a personal and helpful tour and overview of Ezekiel, Israel , and Judah at the time in captivity and best God's personal and intimate care for His own beloved family. It ends in great promises in the Millennium.
