Iris Stuart may have a small crush on her neighbor. After all, Pierce Jennings is gorgeous, muscled, and he has a laugh that makes her toes curl. But she is not going down that particular path of temptation with the former Army Ranger and current Wilde agent. Nope. Not happening. They’ll stay in the friend zone because it’s safer that way. Safer for her—and for him. Even if looking into his baby blues makes her heart race.
She’s sunshine, secrets, and a bit of sin…
Pierce’s new neighbor wears paint-splattered jeans, she smells like sin, and he wants to put his hands all over her gorgeous body. Too bad she’s friend-zoned him. Too bad she’s starring in most of his fantasies. Too bad he can’t get her out of his head.
But when danger comes knocking, he’s just the man she needs.
So Iris may have a slightly infamous past—and a family who more than dabs in art forgeries. Iris inherited some of their not-so-slightly shady skills, and unfortunately, now some dangerous people want to use her. When the bad guys don’t take no for an answer and they try to abduct her, it’s her sexy bodyguard next door who comes to her rescue.
Suddenly, she’s got his protection.
The bad guys want her art skills, the Feds in stiff suits want her to work a sting, and Pierce? He just wants her to be his. And what Pierce wants, he will get. Even if he has to take down an undercover art ring and take on the Feds, he will stay by Iris’s side. He’s not just going to be her bodyguard. Before they are done, he plans to be one hell of a lot more to her…
Author’s Does it get better than having a seriously buff, ready-to-handle-any-threat bodyguard…right next door? For Iris Stuart, this turn of events is probably the best thing that has ever happened to her. But falling for sexy Pierce wasn’t supposed to happen. She’s the bad girl. He’s the hero. Except…maybe a bad girl can win the heart of the hero, provided, of course, that they can survive the danger heading their way. It’s time for another WILDE ride. What can you expect? Hot times, lots of danger, humor, thrills…and a guaranteed happy ending.

This was a danger filled, high drama, sizzling masterpiece! This checked so many of my favorite boxes!
Iris and Pierce together were pure perfection. I adored the friend-zone that Pierce had to deal with. His disgruntlement with the situation was so freaking cute, I couldn’t help but giggle each time it came up. But holy heck, when things start to head in a not friendly manner, he didn’t hesitate to act on it.
Iris played a large part in the cute factor of this story. She had a rough history and a scary time of having to deal with it popping up unexpectedly. But there were moments when she released the part of herself that was a spitting, fighting cat and I loved watching her try to bring someone twice her size down and the consequent actions Pierce took to control the situation. As I’ve said, it was just all so freaking cute.
This storyline was quite unique, centering around a topic that I’ve only read about once or twice before. I loved it all the more because it’s a rare find. Iris and Pierce’s story was masterfully crafted with characters that had me laughing, questioning, and cursing all along the way. With an epilogue that left me smiling and sated, I nevertheless wondered how long until the next amazing Wilde boy would be out.

I just really like Cynthia Eden's suspense romances. In this story, Iris (h) is a former art forger who's been hiding from her past. Her new next door neighbor, Pierce (H), is a bodyguard for Wilde and there's insta attraction. Of course, Iris's past comes calling and Pierce is there to protect her. The whole book is very fast paced, including their relationship, but I enjoyed it. I suspended some disbelief and had a good time. Written in third person, multi-POV (including bad guys). No ow/om drama and neither were virgins (h had been celibate for 2 years and no history given for H but he makes a comment that seemed like it'd been a while for him too).
I liked both Iris and Pierce esp when the book first begins and Iris is trying to keep him in the friend zone and he's chafing hard about it. It was hilarious. I loved how protective he was of her immediately and how she tried to protect him in her own way too, even if she needed to stop earlier and accept that he was staying. There are steamy scenes even with all the danger happening and both say I love you before the end of the book.
I do wish that Pierce had been more fleshed out as a character. He was a former Ranger and then became a bodyguard, but there's no info given on his upbringing or his family that I can recall. There was plenty of this type of info for Iris though so the characters weren't balanced. I liked the premise of art thief masterminds, even if Iris's backstory was really sad and she didn't know who to trust for most of the book. It also wasn't clear who was connected to the primary villain until the end so there was a lot of questioning who was safe and who was not.
The story ends in a HFN and I wish there was an extended epilogue or an extra chapter with these two showing them together without all the hiding and then danger. Iris was completely free for the first time in years, I wanted to see what she'd do. Also how another relationship would develop. Still, an entertaining read esp when I didn't feel good and I didn't want anything super deep, this hit the spot.
Another Wilde! I really love this series. Lots of action and suspense. Twists and turns that I did not see coming.Pierce is ,unkowingly, thrust into Iris’s path. Pierce is super OTT and hot! Great chemistry and banter with these two. HEA
Cynthia Eden brings her A Game in this new 5 Star adventure!!
Pierce Jennings moves into a new building and his neighbor has immediately put him in the friend zone even though there are sparks flying. But that will not do at all for him.
Iris Stuart has so many secrets she’s afraid to get close to anyone. She in Witness Protective Custody. But then she meets The smoking hot guy next door.
“That doesn’t mean I am not well acquainted with bad. And, baby, I can be so very bad.”
Pierce goes all alpha male protective when Iris is attacked.
“Well, Captain Way Too Obvious, have you thought that doing a stake-out right across the street isn’t the best plan?
I love the premise of this story because it was so different and I fall in love all over again with every new story.
Of course now I have to know more about Remy and Constantine.
This put me in a reading slump. The plot was -Friendzoned friend or H complains. -h needs help. -H saves her. -h puts her life at risk/ needs help -H saves her life -h and H kiss and make up -h life is threatened/ needs help -she starts saying she is going to cut him off -H says no. They kiss and makeup -her life is threatened again -h says they need to split -H says no. They kiss and makeup
That got old real quick, didn't it? This book would have been a great intro into the world of art thieves and forgers. Imagine if we got scenes of her actually selling. Great concept, shitty execution.
O_O :X so I'm actually not entirely sure what day I finished reading this book. Also ... low key shocked I started it in June but ... didn't pick it up again until October. I actually thought about putting in that I DNF'd it but I guess that I did pick it up from when I left off it's one go?
Anyway... I want Remy's book.
I liked Iris but also she felt ... kinda like too much of a martyr? :X The end though - the relatives.
I will say this book took some unexpected turns which I appreciated. But with Pierce - like obviously he's attracted to her but the instalove/lust was what was supposed to carry the book and I just ... wasn't convinced. :|
I did like seeing the other characters from Wilde make cameo appearances.... BUT WHERE WAS DEX?! WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?!
~Ironically this book might make one of the better movies? So :X maybe it was mood? But like - not my favorite Wilde book.
The Bodyguard Next Door is the fifteenth in Cynthia Eden’s delectable Wilde Ways series. Pierce Jennings moves in next door to Iris Stuart, and much to his dismay, seems to be promptly friend-zoned. For her part, Iris had a bit of an unconventional childhood, and isn’t eager to drag Pierce into that messy world.
When the baddies slide out of the woodwork as they inevitably do, Cynthia Eden takes it up a notch with her exciting action and heated passion. Pierce and Iris negotiate the terms of her kidnapping while trying to determine who to trust and how to set a trap of their own. Readers will be charmed and utterly satisfied by Ms Eden’s entertaining blend of heart and heat and action!
As with all my reviews, I'm not going to recount the synopsis or give away any of the plot (though I may make comments about a couple of things). This will be an overall review of the work, and comments.
As like most of Cynthia Eden's (CE's) novels, there are no cookie cutter characters. Pierce, the Hero (H), and Iris, the heroine (h) have very individual traits that make them unique and interesting. Talking about Iris first, she is an odd mix of seemingly naivety and world smarts. She's reserved and self isolates herself, until she decides not to with Pierce. But even though she feels an initial attraction & trust with him where he also makes her feel safe, she fights with herself knowing she needs his protection yet not wanting to embroil him in her dangerous life. Her past has shown her that she gets left behind and can't trust those around her, yet she risks everything when she connects up with Pierce. Now Pierce is a burly, blunt and sometimes scary guy who says only what needs to be said. Pierce is different than any other character of CE's that I can recall because he has internal dialog that most would have just said out loud. Not sure how I feel about that, but that's how his attributes were developed and it sticks with him throughout the entire story.
Like most if not all of CE's books, there is no doubt to the reader about the feelings the H/h have for each other. The conversation flows naturally, though not as natural to me as other books due to Pierce's internal dialog. The sexual tension ratchets up through the book until they finally do the deed and boy was that HOT HOT HOT. And unlike other authors books, CE doesn't throw hot sex scenes in when the H/h are in a perilous situation. The H actually thinks of the h safety instead of his satisfaction (since it could distract his senses from determining approaching danger).
Side characters in this one were very interesting. Hope to see a couple of them in future stories. We know Colt (Pierce's partner) has his coming up next. I won't say who but there are two that seem interesting enough and tough enough to get their own stories (Fingers crossed).
The plot of the book kept you on the edge of your seat. There were a lot of twists and turns. Only one of them (a statement made by h bro) didn't make any sense to me after getting to the end of the book. Although there was a big ahah moment as far as the suspense was concerned, looking back over what was written, it wasn't an outrageous jump in plot and actually made sense.
Overall this book was on par with CE's other Wilde series. Loved it and recommend it highly
As usual, I'm so happy to read a book by Cynthia Eden. I swear she writes just for me. She knows just the characters I want to read and writes that story.
I'm always happy to sit back and read her stories and The Bodyguard Next Door was no exception. Oh boy is Pierce an alpha hero. He comes off as hard and kinda pushy until you understand that he's so worried about Iris getting hurt. He's the type to want to control everything around him and when he can't it drives him crazy.
Poor Iris has had a very sad life. She was used by her father and abandoned by her brother. You can see right away that she wants someone to love and love her badly. You can't really blame her. Of course, for her, it's hard to know who to trust and she has to work that out for herself. Which isn't easy when she has people coming at her from all sides telling her who she should trust.
There is a ton of action in The Bodyguard Next Door and you'll love the new characters that are introduced. You spend most of the book wondering who's good and who isn't. I love that about Eden's books. She likes to keep you guessing.
I'm happy to say that this ended wonderfully. You are happy for both Pierce and Iris and some new characters you want to know about. I can honestly say that I want more from this series. The Bodyguard Next Door can be read as a standalone. It totally doesn't really touch on the other books in the series but why would you read it alone. Get them all and have the best few days reading them. Blog | Facebook | Twitter | Instagram

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "THE BODYGUARD NEXT DOOR" OMG!!! What an on the edge of your seat story that books you right from the start full of emotional turmoil, intrigue, suspense, mystery, angst, humor, passion, danger, violence, murder, twists that you didn't see coming such an addicting mind-blowing must have book. Iris Stuart is on Witness Protection Program because of her dark past she's excited about her new neighbor moving next door he's gorgeous, sexy, bossy alpha male she's crushing on but she makes a point of not getting close up anyone. Pierce Jennings former Army Ranger is now a Wilde Security Agent with the help of his BF Colt Easton helping him move in he's attracted to his gorgeous, sweet, adoreable neighbor who put him in the friend zone h*ll no he won't be having that. Iris finds herself in a dangerous situation needing Pierce as her bodyguard 24/7 she has people after her for her Art Skills he'll do everything in his power to protect her at all costs. Fed Agents Bryce Robertson & Travis Clarke need Iris to do a job to catch & take down the man behind the forged art thefts she not in that business anymore she doesn't truly trust the Feds nor does Pierce plus they want her brother Remy. I definitely recommend to get this mind-blowing, riviting, engaging, on the edge of your seat story so much happens, many surprises, twists, the journey Pierce & Iris take you on well this is one book you don't want miss getting I loved it so well worth the read. I'm so looking forward to the next book in this amazing series written by Cynthia Eden she doesn't disappoint "EX MARKS THE PERFECT SPOT" this is "Colt Easton & Chelsea Ember's" story I SO can't wait to read this book.
I read this book in one sitting. To which, I was very glad because there were so many characters that my brain had a hard time keeping track of who was who. Overall, it was a good book. It's made me want to go back through and read some other books from this series. The beginning was a little rough, for me. We're not given any build-up of Iris and Pierce's relationship, we're immediately dunked into this "pining for my neighbor" situation. Which is fine, but it didn't feel like we got to know who Iris and Pierce were as individuals before she dumped us right into this will-they-won't-they. It just almost made it hard to want to see them together because Pierce is enthralled with Iris from the first line. Which, is fine. But we're not entirely sure why, other than his little friend downstairs likes the sight of her.
The bodyguard/true crime part of the book was amazing-it kept me guessing and at one point I was just like "screw it, the only two people I know are innocent of anything are Pierce & Iris! Everyone else is up for debate!" Which actually made the reading pretty fun.
There was one plotline unresolved- Eden doesn't tell us about this "dark past" that Pierce supposedly has. We're left to kind of infer, which is fine but it took the severity out of it, for me. The FBI agent didn't have the room to accuse Pierce of wrongdoing because we don't know what Pierce did in his Army days that was so bad. One can infer from context, obviously, but it almost seemed like it would've been better if she'd dug into that B plot a little more or just left it out completely.
Overall, I give it a 3/5 because it was entertaining, even if it was a quick read, and it's made me want to see what other Wilde guys have for me.
Iris Stuart is an artist who lives all alone and has no family. Her past is something that she never reveals to anyone. In fact, she would rather forget it, even though it still affects her life in a very negative way. Therefore, she plays it safe by never getting close to anyone.
In spite of Iris’ plan to remain aloof, Pierce Jennings, her new neighbor, immediately catches her attention. He is a muscled, good-looking man with a charismatic personality, who also happens to be a Wilde agent. Even though she is instantly attracted to him, she refuses to take him out of the “friend zone.” However, Pierce, who also feels this same strong attraction, refuses to stay in that zone. He is determined to break down her barriers and to dig up all of her secrets.
Iris’ past finally catches up with her. She is about to be kidnapped when Pierce appears, just in time, to rescue her. Unfortunately, this is just the beginning of Iris’ troubles. Pierce officially becomes her bodyguard so he can protect her and find a way to solve her problems.
The plot in this books is filled with non-stop action and unrelenting danger. There are so many twists and turns that it is difficult to distinguish between the villains and the heroes. When Iris and Pierce are not fighting for their lives, they are making love every chance they get.
This book will grab your attention immediately and will not let it go until the very end!
A lot of plot holes, and unanswered questions spoilt it. It’s really boring at times as well.
I’m not sure what it was with this book but I didn’t really enjoy it. It was okay and was something to read when my insomniac brain wouldn’t sleep, but I won’t read it again.
The book starts a week after Pierce has moved into his new apartment, next to Iris. He really likes Iris but she has friend zoned him as she thinks she’s a bad person. Iris and her brother were trained as children to be master art forgers. When her dad is killed she is put in protective custody and given a new identity. WHY? It never explains why Iris was so important that for years she’s in Wit-sec and the FBI are so invested in her.
Pierce is an ex army ranger who now works for Wilde security. It never explains what else he did in the army, it implies he was part of a covert group but never confirms it. Pierce is obsessed with Iris, (I don’t understand why.) and when she is danger he becomes her bodyguard/ boyfriend.
I just never felt any danger, or any chemistry with the two main characters. Then there’s Iris’s brother who I’m still confused about. He’s in hiding, and the FBI say he’s a bad man but he’s not. ???? I don’t get it.
Too many unanswered questions and things that don’t make sense.
Iris Stuart was not the neighbor that Pierce Jennings expected…she was so much more! Pierce is a former Army Ranger and an agent with Wilde Security. Iris has secrets, secrets that keep her on the run. Her brother is missing, her father was murdered and the Feds want to use her to take down a criminal who deals in art forgeries. Iris wants to be friends with Pierce, but from their first meeting, he wants something more than friendship. When he realizes that she is in trouble, he suggests that she hire him as her bodyguard. The interaction between them, her naivete yet strength, the hot romance and his alpha need to protect make this an excellent romantic suspense. When she is almost kidnapped, Pierce shows her just how dangerous he can be, but the threat is not over. The still unknown criminal has not given up on using Iris for his own greed. This is one of my all-time favorite series with well-rounded characters and a story line that will keep you on edge and laughing at the same time. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (paytonpuppy)
Well now, this was just adorable and exactly what I needed. I adored both Pierce and Iris, both individually and together. There's something about an alpha male who gets flustered by a woman that just makes me smile. This book is apparently 15th in the Wilde series, but it's my first. Or maybe not. I couldn't say if I've read any of the previous 14 or any that come later. That said, I'm planning to track them down. It did fine as a stand alone, but several secondary characters and references point to other books in the series.
I found myself fascinated by Iris's talent and wishing there was a little more on what it was like growing up with her father, and I'd also like a little more about what she does now. There's a reference to her knowing Eric Wilde through his wife, who owns a gallery Iris seeks through, so it might be a previous novel thing. But since it's Iris's story, I wanted a little more here.
But overall, this is a near-perfect romantic suspense.
I received a copy of this book for free. I'm writing this review voluntarily, and it reflects my honest opinion. Thanks!
Cynthia Eden has a very special talent in that she has written over 15 books in the Wilde Series and has miraculously avoided repeating story lines. Not only has she not repeated the plot, but each and every character is individual and unique in their own right – how does she do that?! All I know is that I want her to continue to do so because I love every single book for a myriad of different reasons. If romantic suspense is your preferred choice of genre, then I wholeheartedly recommend Ms. Eden. Suspense, mystery, edge-of-your-seat adventure, sexy strong heroes, brave heroines – you name it, you’ll find it in Ms. Eden’s books. I have to say that I think Pierce Jennings made me laugh as much as I swooned – there were quite a few hysterical moments in this read. Another edgy, sizzling romantic suspense that I couldn’t put down once I started reading. Now I’m anxiously waiting for Colt’s story! I'm very grateful to NetGalley and the publisher to have been given the opportunity to read an ARC of this book.
The Bodyguard Next Door was certainly one of the most sexy, fill-your-stomach-with-butterflies swoony and perfectly humorous and 100% loaded with action and suspense and sizzling romance!
The newest Wilde Ways story was exceptionally fun and steamy. Pierce and Iris's chemistry makes a reader want to take a cold shower and fan themselves at the same time. I loved Pierce's protective and alpha nature as well as his sweet, flirty and caring one too while Iris held a lot of secrets that surprised me again and again. She had a sweet personality, and I loved her spirit. This novel was entertaining and fun and had a lot of twists, turns and heart pounding action that kept me turning the pages. The romance was also sweet, sexy and completely yummy. I can't get enough of these Wilde agents and their amazing heroines!
The Bodyguard Next Door gets a STEAMY AND HILARIOUS FIVE SNAP, CRACKLE, AND POP STARS!
Pierce, bodyguard extraordinaire from Wilde Securities, has just moved in next to Iris, an artist. What he doesn't know is that she comes from a family of art forgers, and she's dabbled in that herself. When both the bad guys and the Feds come calling for her, Pierce steps in as protection.
What I liked: -This series has been inconsistent. I've loved some of them and been lukewarm about others. This one was somewhere in the middle. But here's the thing, CE is a comfort author for me. Her mysteries are often complex and taut, and even though the dialogue can be a little cheesy, I pretty much know what to expect. Sometimes, that's exactly what I need. -There were a couple of twists at the end that added to the intrigue. -Safe - h not a virgin, H not a manwhore; no OM/OW drama
What I didn't like: -Pierce and Iris were just okay as a couple. I didn't question why they were together (like I did Ana and Christian in the first Fifty Shades), but they didn't overwhelm me either.
The Bodyguard Next Door (Wilde Ways #15) by Cynthia Eden is an instant attraction if not an instant love story. At least it is for neighbor Pierce Jennings. Perhaps for Iris Stuart too since she has an admiring crush on her neighbor. While instant anything is not my favorite trope, this one works since they have been neighbors before the book began. Now friendship to love is more my style with this having that too.
Another awesome romantic suspense from an author who always delivers. This book was full of danger, suspense, intrigue, wonderful characters, and hot romance. Romance readers will want to read this hot action-packed romantic suspense.
4.5 Stars An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
The Bodyguard Next Door (Wilde Ways, #15) by Cynthia Eden I really love this series! This is Iris and Pierce's story - he is a Wilde agent and she is part of a family who deal in art forgeries. She has been in protective custody - but a evil man has found her and wants her skills. Pierce is her new neighbor and he has decided he wants more than the friend zone and he will protect her at all costs. There is angst, deception, fear, trust and mistrust, danger, humor, lots of steam and love to get us to a HEA. I can't wait for the next book - Ex Marks The Perfect Spot (Wilde Ways Book 16) in July. Reasons I enjoyed this book: Scary Page-turner Action-packed Happily Ever After Tear-jerker Tragic Unpredictable Steamy Easy-to-read Entertaining Wonderful characters Witty Romantic
Once again we are with the all alpha males of the Wilde Security group and this time we have Pierce Jennings story he is instantly attracted to his hot new neighbour and wants more but she has definitely friend zoned him. Iris Stuart trusts no one after growing up in a major art forging family but now she is in protective custody but no way will she trust the hot man next door. But when danger crashes after someone tracks her down and wants to use her skills it will be the former army ranger that keeps her safe. Can they have a future You will have to read to see
This is a super fast paced read with plenty of twists and turns and for once I didn't work it all out by the middle of the storyline another great work from one of my favourite authors
This time we get Iris and Pierce's story. Pierce works for Wilde Security and has an appartment in the same building as Iris. He's been crushing on her since laying eyes on her but she keeps him in the friendzon due to her criminal past. She's also in Witsec and when her past comes knocking on her door, Pierce is there to protect her.
We get twist and turns, action with heeps and on top of that a great love story.
I do have to be honest though and confess that this is my least favorite of the series. I didn't really feel the connection between Iris and Pierce as I usually do with all the other couples. But that's just personal, I'm sure other will love them both.
All in all, a great book and I can wait for Colt story.
An Outstanding Suspense Romance . I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy through Net Galley of The Bodyguard Next Door. Pierce Jennings works for Wilde security . He moves into an apartment next to Artist Iris Stuart . He is attracted to Iris . Pierce steps in when he finds Iris in danger . He will stop at nothing to protect her . He hopes to get out of the friend zone he finds himself in . Both Pierce and Iris have secrets . Iris must trust Pierce with her secrets and her heart so he can protect her . I really enjoyed reading this story . It's full of action and suspense quite a steamy romance. I found it a very entertaining story . I highly recommend taking the time to read.
Iris is a Monet forger, trained by her father. He was also a master forger along with her older brother, Remy. When she was 17 her father was murdered and her brother disappeared. The FBI took her into the witness protection because she was a minor and really had non idea her work was being used.
Pierce moves in to the apartment across the hall from Iris and is locked in focused on her. He really likes her. They become friends fast but when a model comes along to pose for her, Remy lets it be known he likes her and no models are needed.
Within in hours her past comes rushing back and Remy goes into the bodyguard, she mine, I will keep her safe mode.
The story that unfolds is very good. I hope you all enjoy!
Iris held her father as he bleed to death, as a teenager. She was put into witness protection and was moved around. She’s in Atlanta and loves it, especially when she gets a new neighbor. Pierce works for Red Stone Security and fell for Iris fast. But when trouble comes knocking, Pierce will do whatever is necessary to keep her safe. He is huge, mean, and a former Army Ranger but would never do anything to hurt Iris. Iris has been keeping secrets, she is a forger. Her specialty is Monet and her past has caught up with her. Now she has bad guys and good guys but she can’t tell the bad from the good.
Fast paced, sexual attraction, and suspense. I loved these two characters. Iris puts Pierce in the “friend” category but he wants to be her lover/boyfriend. I can’t wait to see what happens to the secondary characters. They’re several and I hope we see more of them.
* Voluntarily read and reviewed this for Bookfunnel *
The Bodyguard next door is another awesome read in the Wilde Ways series! When Wilde agent Pierce meets his new neighbor Iris he is immediately attracted to her. Iris has secrets and although she’s attracted to Pierce she wants to keep him in the “ friends “ category. But when her secrets become a threat he offers to protect her and becomes her bodyguard and much more.. This was a fantastic read! Suspenseful, a great plot, funny, twists and turns and hot romance 🔥 Highly recommend this book! Although part of the Wilde Ways series it’s perfectly readable as a stand-alone. I received this arc from the author and this review is my honest opinion.
The Bodyguard Next Door by Cynthia Eden is book 5 in the Wilde Ways Series. This is the story of Pierce Jennings and Iris Stuart. Iris is in the Witness Protection Custody so she tries to keep to herself to protect herself and other if her past comes to get her. Then a new neighbor moves in and she feels safe with him but she knows there can't be anything more so she just wants to be friends. Pierce is used to danger and protecting others so it natural for him to feel protective of Iris. But he feels so much more for her than that and when danger comes for her he goes is to alpha protection mode. Enjoyed their story and I hope to read more from this author.
There has been a plan in motion 4 protection on the sly that wasn't a well-known fact until it needs 2 b showed. Remy came back 2 help watch over his sis even though she hasn't seen him in a very very long x now. Her past s coming back 2 hunt her again but she doesn't understand why and who is causing it. But when things go sideways Pierce is there 2 pick up the pieces if needed 2 or b the muscle that u don't want 2 mess with. But there's 2 groups causing problems but can he figure it out in x b4 it's 2 late? I couldn't put it down and read it pretty fast. I hope Remy and Constantine gets a book in the future.
