This was such a cozy little romance set in Grace’s Cove, Ireland. I really enjoyed this story and all of the characters involved. This is the twelfth book in this series, but it is my first. I loved the feel that Grace’s Cove had to offer and I can see myself jumping back in to another book in this series.
Series ended on a high note, I’m not even sure why I loved this one so much more than the other 11 but it made me squeal a little and kick my feet, so there it is.
I love Tricia O'Malley's creative mind! The world's and characters she creates speak to that part of my soul that still seeks to find magic in the world like I did as a child. The storyteller and author within me longs to have her talent. But alas, my gift for gab lies along a different path. That still doesn't stop me from, reading everything Tricia O'Malley writes highlighting every wonderful turn of phrase, savoring every emotional dialogue, and shedding a tear when her character stumbles upon a worldly truth I needed to hear expressed at just the right moment. It is hard for those who love me to understand my propensity for describing my life philosophy according to a Tricia O'Malley Malley paranormal romance novel. But when I hear my thoughts and prayers, put out into the universe with an eloquence I sometimes lack, it is difficult not to quote Tricia like someone else quotes Shakespeare!
So once again with Wild Irish Moon, Tricia takes us back to Grace's Cove, the magical seaside village in Ireland where the pirate queen Grace O'Malley still reigns from beyond the grave. Once again Grace's Cove calls to lost souls, those born with her magic, offering safe harbor from their troubles. Oh, I long to find such a place where like her hero Kane I could escape to be inspired and to write! The way Tricia crafts words to paint a picture of the village and its citizens. The female descendents of Grace who have inherited different magical tendencies from the queen, to the quirky personalities such as Mr. Murphy who flirts with Beatrice the bookstore owner even though he is several years her senior. Through Tricia's word craft, these characters come to life in my imagination. As a reader, I am virtually a part of village life. I feel the rain on my face, shiver at the wind blowing off the sea and delight in the magic of Grace's Cove. I never want to leave, though I know that someday Tricia O'Malley may no longer write this series. I must enjoy it while I can!
If you have a soul thirsting for magic, and happily ever after you have to read Tricia O'Malley's Mystic Cove series. You should make sure you pick up Wild Irish Moon, her latest in the series. You will fall in love with the magic of Ireland and Grace's Cove!
Another magical visit to the Mystic Cove series. Another beautiful love story surrounded by magick. American psychic Iris had been betrayed by her boyfriend, her name had been besmirched by him and he had stolen her money. All her clients started to cancel their appointments… unsure of what to do Iris decided to travel to Ireland, to Gracie’s Cove. At the airport she meets Kane a famous writer who’d lost his mojo. Mix all this with the people at Gracie’s Cove, the magick of the place, the new friends/family they meet there and add a horrible ex…. Not saying anymore! You HAVE to read this book. And, there’s a free bonus scene at the end too! Tricia O’Malley is just one of my very favourite authors. She shines bright with her own kind of magick and all her books are amazing. Very much recommend reading this book. Nay, this series (and all her other books) you won’t regret it! Go! Now! Read!
'Tis the ending of a series that kept !e enchanted from the first novel! And what a fitting end, a new beginning! I absolutely adored Iris and Kane's story! I loved that Kane out magic to paper and that Iris was psychic but never new who Kane was... Yet together, these two individuals end up in Mystic Cove. Land of Magick and perhaps a spirit or two. Together they learn about new beginnings and coming home, yet both came to escape. It's fun, all the hijinks of Graces Cove, and the amazing love of community. It was another Tricia O'Malley perfect novel that sweeps the reader away. I am so going to miss the amazing place! Thank you for all the time I got to spend there!
Now on to Scotland! (Bucket list!)
Don't miss this entire series, let alone this novel, pardon my repeat, but it will enchant you too!
I do love this series and it's supernatural twist I think it's my favourite sort of witch series it's very different from witch series but has some elements, also I love the two spin off series set in same world and time.I got this series on unlimited but I would buy this series (might even do so for when or if I cancel my unlimited account) it's one of them that you will see more on the second read.I normally don't repeat books (I love to read new ) but I do have my favourite top 10 books that I would repeat. Also small towns and supernatural plus a love story are my favourite with mystery I'm on the sofa with a shhh I'm reading on the door. I was hoping his book would be in the shop next door before the end.
I love this series with romance and magic woven together around the story of historic pirate Grace. All the women in the group of decedents of Grace have different special talents and in this one Iris is a psychic medium with lots of baggage. There is a nice twist with Kane being a male romance writer with his own wounds to lick. Leave it to the ladies of Grace's Cove to be able to heal all wounds and make people feel loved. There are secrets and also a fun interchange between Iris and Kane about what it means to be a medium and what the plot of the new romance should be. Nice to reconnect with all the characters of the Cove too.
I have now read all 12 in this series and what a read it was!!! I fell for every character written, quirks an all, and their love stories. I enjoyed the fact that every book was interwoven and you got to see most characters in every book 📕 You became part of their family and what a family they are!!! Never a dull moment and the books just flow so effortlessly. I can’t encourage them enough!! A must read and the whole collection of course is a must!! I will be buying this series for my personal collection for my library so I can sit and read them all again come rain or shine ✨
This series, I just finished Wild Irish Moon, makes me feel alive, ready to make my life better. If these women can make their lives enriched and stronger, so can I. Love is not weak, it is stronger than the moons pull on the ocean tides. Ocean tides never stop, they can be calm or stirred into a Cat 5 Hurricane. You can feel the pull of love throughout this enchanted series. Family, reincarnation, curses or blessings, gifts from ancestors are both a blessing and a curse, these are just some of the wonderfulness in these books. Book 12 wraps up love and family in a magical way. Read this series, your heart needs this.
Wild Irish Moon, book 12 in Tricia O’Malley’s series centered in Grace’s Cove, is a wonderful read that captures the spirit of the cove and its inhabitants so completely. That there are no secrets among the magickal becomes clear as Iris, a psychic whose reputation has been trashed by her ex soon learns. Kane is a famous author suffering from writer’s block who desperately needs to start writing again. The story is witty, revealing and through it all the Cove shows its approval. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book. Most highly recommend.
Oh what a delightful trip back to Grace’s Cove! It’s always wonderful to see Cait & Mr. Murphy at Gallagher’s Pub, Grace & Dylan & Rosie, Aislinn, and Fiona and the otters, too! Kane and Iris were perfect for each other. The rocky starts they each had, the developing friendship & slow burn into love… the way Kane really *listened* to her… Thank you for another phenomenal book, Tricia! Can’t wait to visit Scotland with you in your new series!
When Irises world collapses upon itself, she is overwhelmed. Even her mystical abilities and Spirit Guides had not warned her about this impending doom. Ex Boyfriend, Warren destroyed her business, reputation and finances. But, more than that, he destroyed her ability to trust. Running away to Ireland and hiding out seemed the perfect escape. But was it?? Could Iris survive on her own. And would the familiar cast from Grace's Cove let her live alone in peace? Then there was the annoying budding author from the airport...
I absolutely love Trish O'Malley and this series has been so wonderful and I truly had looked forward to book 12. Why did it have to be ruined with TEXTS instead of in person dialogue and mentioning weight and shape of womens bodies. I am a 30, so not out of touch, but I choose her books to escape reality, not have a dose of it served in my reading choices unless that is what I specifically chose to read.
Ms. O'Malley has given us another fantastic trip to Ireland. I especially loved the texting between the main two characters. I prefer not to text myself but the quick wit in these text were hilarious and our characters a new and interesting way to let their relationship build when they were both hiding important personal details from each other. The readers get to peek and see the relationship grow ftom both sides. Thank you a Great read!
I cannot remember the last time I laughed so hard, cried a little but also felt included in a truly enjoyable story. Plus the sexy times were HOT. I have anxiety and trauma similar to the characters and REALLY appreciate how Tricia incorporated it into the characters because it helps to reduce the sigma that has been placed in mental health issues. Thank you for such an incredible gift!!
This authors ability to deliver you to another land, with supportive and caring family and friends. All while magically nudging you toward the other half of your soul. I sincerely appreciate Tricia's talent and imagination. I wish she could magically deliver me into this time and place, yes, I do actually think this to myself as I read her books. Thank you, again.
It's always great to be back in Grace's Cove. The characters are family and you can't help but fall in love with this quaint little seaside village. Grace's Cove is a place to find magic, mystery and love. "Sometimes you want to go Where everybody knows your name And they're always glad you came You want to be where you can see Our troubles are all the same You want to be where everybody knows your name."
This book was such a beautiful romantic, spunky, loving fun read! I can't ever put them down. I'm captured the moment I pick it up. I love how all the characters interlock and keep coming into the stories keeping them alive and always completing the story. This a series to read! I've been seems like the beginning of time lol. Tricia writes stories that keep you aching for more
If this is truly the last boom in the series, it was a fabulous way to go out. Kane and Iris’ story is my second favorite of the series.
There is so much real world mixed in with the fantasy of Grace’s Cove in Wild Irish Moon. They are incredibly relatable characters. And the story feels like home.
This was wonderfully written and a joy to read. I will miss Grace’s Cove, for sure…
I was so excited when this 12th book was released, and was not disappointed. I love each book in the Mystic Cove series and I really hope there are more to follow. The characters reappear from each book , interacting with the newest ones. Mystery, intrigue and romance at its finest. Highly recommend all of this author's books. Such a wonderful story teller.
Okay, so I'm addicted to Tricia O'Malleys' books. The Mystic Cove series is so warm and interesting.... I want to move there! This last book of the series is Iris and Kanes' story, and it doesn't disappoint. I love how the whole town comes together to welcome them both. I love how all of the authors guys are strong and confident, and yet so loving and supportive of their mates. I can't wait to start the next series!
4,5 - Sweet and heartwarming. I love Grace’s Cove setting. Any story set there has something magical. Kane is a famous writer suffering from writer’s block. Iris is a famous psychic with a ruined reputation, due to a stupid ex boyfriend. They both meet in Grace’s Cove and help each other heal and start again.
If Cait & Mr Murphy weren't taking book on when the proposal would occur, I'd need to take it on the difficulty of putting this book down, before finishing. I was hooked. Done in 3 sitting, only because I was taking care of my grandson, otherwise it would have been 1! Thanks Tricia.
This was a very good into a wonderful serious. I love it when writers have one of their main characters be a writer. It's interesting to see the thought process that they both go through. This serious has been a romantic and magical and everything I could possibly want in a very good storyline. Highly recommend you read every single book.
Iris is devastated when her boyfriend tells lies about her to the press, ruins her business and steals from her. She heads to Ireland and Grace's Cove to lick her wounds. Kane is a famous writer who was left standing at the alter, and is now suffering severe writer's block. He is also heading to Grace's Cove. They meet at Dublin airport when there is only one hire car left, and share a ride.
This is a good read. At first I wasn’t so sure I was going to like Iris Moon. But the further I got into story the better. There was really nothing not to like of Kane. This was a really good story Of course Mystic Cove welcomes you right in. Hopefully there are more to come in this series. This whole series has been so fun to read.
Thank you for the insight you give your characters as they grow into themselves! So enjoyed the idea of the woman being the rescuer. The true hero of the story. Can hardly wait for the Scottish series. Thanks Betty
I missed reading about the residents of Grace’s Cove. They are like long lost family. No matter how long they have been gone, you can always pick up right where you left off.
