Halloween night…check

Ghost tour…check

A dare…check

The accident wasn’t part of the plan. And neither was the ghost that’s trying to attach itself to us. We realize his warnings aren’t just to scare us, when all of us end up fighting for our lives.

How do you come back from the dead, but see them everywhere you turn? In fact, we all woke up with our lives forever changed. Now we have to not only figure out what to do with our new spectral friend, but adjust to life after a major near death experience.

The real question is, will we be able to get through this and keep our sanity, or will we be forced to live our lives parallel to the dead, forever?

Ghosted is a reverse harem paranormal romance. This is intended for readers 18 and up. There are some instances of horror and violence that may be triggering for some readers.

I did NOT like this book. There were so many inconsistencies. Weak, simple plot points that were soon forgotten. Miraculous things would happen for no apparent reason and there wouldn’t be any explanation or reasoning for how it could have happened. It was just ‘nothing to see here, go about your day…I say good day to you’

All the MCs get hurt and are in the hospital. It is briefly mentioned that one of them is in a cast, then never mentioned again. In fact everyone is fine once they check out. Basically up to full speed a week or so after spending a while in ICU. No one’s family or parents or anyone actually visits them in the hospital. Yet later on they catch a ride in someone’s Mom’s minivan. So the mom has a minivan and will give them a lift but won’t visit someone in the hospital. In fact there is almost no back story on any of the Mc’s. I have no idea if anyone has parents, sibling. Heck I don’t even know what kind of jobs they have.

They gain supernatural ability but there is absolutely no explanation nor reason for why they got the abilities. They seemed to have just showed up. And no one seemed to question it, the character just sort of shrugged and carried on.

I felt mixed on this one.

For a short book I found myself trying to push through to finish it. It's heavier on the ghost hunting/mystery stuff than it is on romance or smut. Which could be good or bad depending on your view.

I am interested to maybe read the next one though. The romance felt very secondary. She starts out already with one guy as her boyfriend so you don't see that relationship change or progress. And the second guy is her best friend so that's not very exciting either. The third one is good, but it comes in very late in the book, so it might feel more finished/progressed in the next book.

I did like the plot though, but I would have preferred more romance/spice especially in a RH book.

This book is the perfect start to spooky season. What could be better than a book based on ghost hunting that suddenly goes awry? I loved the subtle nods towards Supernatural and Ghost Adventures. It was spooky yet so adorable.

Our four main characters easily weasel their way in to your heart. Raven, the punk lover of the paranormal. Eli, the gamer boyfriend. Jayce, the nerdy pining best friend. And Lucien, the tortured ghost cursed with reliving his death over and over. Something about this group just fits. With all their differences they still seem to click and it makes my heart melt.

This is an excellent start to a new series based on paranormal investigations. It’s nice to see everything start with the founders. The journey was rough. Each character being put through horrific events but there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I can’t wait to see how this series progresses and see things heat up more between Raven and the guys. Bring on chilled!

Ghosted is the first book in the Grave Investigations duet and I honestly enjoyed the storyline. What’s not to love about ghost hunting, haunting ghosts and people ending up with unexpected powers they don’t really know what to do with?

Ghosted is a pretty short book, so as a result the storyline is pretty fast-paced and there’s a lot of action involved. There’s not a lot of downtime for these characters, but the balance was still there for me. I’m not always a fan of relationship building going fast, but it worked for me in this one. It helped that we have one established relationship, a close friends-to-lovers development and a soulmate bond for man number three.

For a short book, this one was definitely nice and a great read if you’re looking for something quick with plenty of action involved.

I really really wanted to like this book but it fell quite short for me. This book didn’t have any romance it was a ghost hunting/mystery story.

This story is about this young woman named Raven who goes with these two guys Eli and Jayce to a ghost hunting tour at a college. Something happens where one of the ghosts Lucien Wolf attaches himself to Raven because she resembles a woman that he loved. They get into an accident and end up in the hospital. They don’t have any family that comes to visit them which didn’t get explained. They get these supernatural abilities which also didn’t get explained. The ghost Lucien Wolf becomes human which also didn’t get explained. There were too many inaccuracies that didn’t get explained in the story.

This was such a great and spooky book. Really sets the mood for the looming Halloween holiday. We meet Raven, her boyfriend Eli and best friend Jayce as they stumble upon the supernatural after a Haunted college tour suddenly goes south. This one features a long-suffering ghost named Lucien and the 2 long past tortured souls of 2 ladies tied to him. There's so much to unravel in this book and we go along as Raven and her guys unravel the haunting and mystery surrounding the college. Not a wicked cliffhanger, more like a HFN ending. Ready to see what shenanigans are foisted upon us in the next book.

I really enjoyed the reading.
Raven is a beautiful girl with character but kind and thoughtful. She has her boyfriend Eli and her best friend Jayce with whom she is inseparable.
Thanks to her adventurous spirit they go into an old university devastated by fire many years ago and where ghosts are believed to dwell and she finds more than what they were looking for.
Here the real adventure begins when a vengeful ghost continues to haunt the people he murdered because he will never let them be free and happy.
Between the three of them and a ghost begins the investigation to make the bad ghost disappear.
A fun journey where their lives are forever changed by the experience.

I love paranormal and ghost books all year round but I especially love them during spooky season and this book with its ghost hunting that is similar to the show supernatural is perfection. The characters are so easy to love! And the villainous ghost who is psycho is exactly what I needed to get me ready for Halloween.
I really liked that it can be read as a stand-alone with so much room for more books. It does end leaving you wanting and needing more and I can’t wait to see what these authors will do next.

Ghosted was the perfect addition to my Spooktober reading goals! Raven, Eli, and Jayce are thrown for a loop when they gain the ability to see ghosts after a car accident. In comes Lucien, the ghost who is struggling to move past his death. This group is so easy to love and just mesh so well. I already knew that Ghosted was going to turn into a favorite with the surrounding mystery, fantastic characters, and even a bit of steam. Ghosted did so well leaving me entertained and with the hope for more that the book hangover has yet to leave!

Loved the premise of this book, and with Halloween right around the corner, it was a perfect fit. I am digging the characters, and the whole thing. The characters drew me in, and the story just keeps it coming. I have never read anything like this, so to me it is all fresh and original. I enjoyed the world building, and the excitement of the ghost hunting. This was a super fun read, and I need more.

This book is so fun! I love reading about Raven, Eli and Jayce's ghost adventure. I mean who doesn't love a great tour, especially when you experience shadows, smells of the past and voices. But are these voices from the past or Raven's future?
Ghosted is a perfect ghost story with the who done it mystery, action of fighting what you can't see and coming together of hearts.
I would love to read more adventures by these fun characters.

If the Ghost Busters aren’t available then I think you better call Grave Investigations instead!

Holy fucking shiznuts Ghosted was honestly an incredible read! The perfect mix of spooky, spicy, and romantic. Although I do have to admit that Stella will likely have me looking over my shoulder for days. Damn psycho ghost hell bent on ruining Raven’s happily ever after. Who does she think she is!?

Five solid fucking gold stars for this book, it’s definitely a spooky season must read!

This one had me hooked on the premise! I really liked the idea, and I actually really loved all of the characters, but I wished that they had been fleshed out a little more. This is a really great first entry, and it does read almost like an episode one, so I can only hope that we get more time with these characters so we can see them in the future as they develop and we learn what happens next!

This definitely got me in the halloween mood!
The story follows Raven, Jayce and Eli who go on a ghost tour on halloween. They did not expect it to end with a car crash, a ghost called Lucien sees Raven and thinks she’s his ex so he tries warning them but they didn’t listen this car crash changes their lives them now seeing ghosts.
Loved this read! Cannot wait to read more.

The perfect book to kick off the spooky season! Excellent storyline and great characters. The sexy punk girl, the long term boyfriend, the secretly pining best friend, and a long dead ghost. After a ghost hunting date, the living members of the crew are in an accident, leaving them with some ghostly gifts. Fantastic story, can’t wait for more! 💜

Fun, spooky book

Perfect book to read in October. Just spooky enough, a little steamy, and not enough to cause nightmares. Eli is kind of a boss. Accepting of Jayce and of Lucien. Incredible!
Kinda thought maybe Lucien would return with Iris, but I like the way it ended. Excited for the next book.

A must read for Halloween!

I loved the dynamics between the characters. There was enough plot, spice, bromance, fun....everything wrapped up with a little bow that I really had a good time reading this book. Can't wait to read the next one right away.

A fast read that was pretty much what I was looking for. Lots of plot with a few spicey scenes thrown in. I don't generally choose RH/why choose stories, but this was done well. Perfect if you want a quick Halloween romance!

Ok read

I loved the idea of this book, but I feel like it fell short. There is no conflict between are characters, and everything is just accepted immediately. The is ok, I won't be reading book two.
