WOOOOOOOWWWWWW!!!! This series keeps getting better and better the more it carries on. I'm here for everything! Nikila Rose did THAT! Ella is so sweet and kind. She deserves the best!!!! The absolute best. My heart went out to her in this book. She is going through it in the worst and best ways and man she is a survivor! Gosh I'm like Rhia. I want go balls to the walls for Ella!!! These men need to step it up!!! Im not gonna spoil anything but lord knows this series is off the chain amazing and I absolutely can not wait for the next and the next and hopefully the next. I could read about Ella forever. She is pure soul. I love her!! So glad I'm apart of Nikilas arc/Street team! Geesh I loved the cliffhanger too. Like wtfreak. Lol This series has raw passionate love, pure happiness and wow moments. I need these paperbacks for safekeeping! Thank you Nikila!! You've outdone yourself again! If you're reading this review READ THIS SERIES!!! 🥴❤️🔥
Another fantastic instalment, can’t wait until September for the finally!! I thought the first book was amazing but this one keeps you guessing the whole way through. I loved the fact that Mateo was more present and the part he plays in the family business. You won’t be disappointed as Ella is her usual self with her contagious humour and misfortune. The new characters are just as charming, I’m not going to reveal any spoilers just know that Nikolai Rose is an amazing author and you won’t be disappointed.
This is a new author for me and the 3rd book of a series titled: the Escape Series. I intend to read the first two books again. I enjoyed this book. It picks up right where Sicilian Sunset left off and this book ends on a cliffhanger with one more book coming. This is a rollercoaster, edge of your seat ride. I couldn’t put it down, it is so compelling I read into the wee hours hours and now I can’t wait for the next book. This read deserves the 5 stars it has on every review.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Nights at sea by Nikila Rose is book number 2 in the triple flame series. You need to read Sicilian sunset before Nights at sea to understand what’s happening in the story.
Now to Nights at sea, I was lucky enough to receive and ARC of this book and just like the first it did not disappoint. We start the book right we’re the first one left off with Ella being kidnapped, I loved being in her head for this one. Every feeling of confusion, panic and determination came across so well. I loved Ella’s back bone in the first one but it was nothing compared to how strong of a character she was in this one and I am here for a sweet strong FMC.
Most of the book was in Ella’s point of view and though I wanted to be in Teiros head more the first book this one I believe was handled perfectly. We got just enough of Tieros pov.
I really liked the action in this book. I found myself staying up into the night wanting to know what was going to happen next and who could be trusted. I keep going back and forth trying to figure out who can and can’t be trusted and I liked that I was kept on my toes. I love how the book sucked me in from start to finish I can not wait for the third book in this series! That ending! I stayed up probably later than I should have to finish it because I could not put it down. (Who needs sleep anyway!) As soon as I read the last word I turned to my husband and said I need book 3 right now. If you are looking for a good crime romance that isn’t to dark I would 100% give this series a read!
When I began reading Sicilian Sunset, little did I know that I had found my newest reading addiction! Book 1 of the Triple Flame Trilogy completely blew me away but, nothing could have prepared me for its next exciting installment!....
Nights At Sea had me glued to my kindle and left me wanting more! OHMIGAH....I was on the edge of my seat throughout this entire book! Suspenseful, twisting, absolutely riveting....this story did not DISAPPOINT!
Talk about your big surprise twists!! This book had a major one and I absolutely loved where it took this story and it's main characters! I loved getting to see the different sides of Ella and Tiero as a result. The drama, passion, and emotion of the story was heightened and I was SO HERE FOR IT!!
I can't say much because you'll get no spoilers from me 😉❤️ but, I can tell you that this story was completly gripping from beginning to end! I can't wait to see how it all ends!
Bravo Ms. Rose! This was another absolutely thrilling addition to your amazing series and I enjoyed every single moment of it! I am waiting in eager anticipation for the conclusion of this incredible series!
*I was generously given an ARC copy of this book for an honest review. All opinions are my own *
Nights At Sea was absolutely shocking! I am in a state of disbelief, and I cannot believe the words that I read. I haven't felt this way about a book in a long time, and that is a feeling of turmoil. ⬅️ This is my definition of an AMAZING book. What an extraordinary job, Nikila. Congratulations, love! 💋
Ella and Tiero were astonishing in this book! I was so surprised by both of their characters, and I loved how we got to see a different side to the both of them. It was so interesting, and I think Nikila did a fantastic job at portraying the characters. This book did not disappoint, and I cannot wait for you guys to read it.
Go read Nights At Sea, so you can support my girl, Nikila!
Here's a quote that I thought would be a nice teaser... "In the past few days, I’ve seen a side of my Mr. Tall, Dark, and Handsome that’s anything but panty melting. This side of him is dark, dangerous, and takes whatever he wants." ~ Ella from Nights At Sea
Picking up from where book one, Sicilian Sunset finished off, Ella’s story continues. She wakes up from being kidnapped in a room she doesn’t recognise. She’s confused and terrified, with a horrendous headache. She doesn’t know who is behind it. But soon everything becomes clear…. This is a well written and thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining follow up. Ella proves to be a feisty, strong willed and determined young woman, challenging her kidnapper every step of the way. There’s plenty of angst, passion and intrigue but moments of humour too. If I say, webbed-feet, by the end of the book you will know what I mean. It was a hilarious moment. Ending on another dramatic cliffhanger, I cannot wait for the third and final instalment of what has been a brilliant series so far.

This is the second book in the The Triple Flame Trilogy. The first book had a great cliffhanger and I was so excited to start it immediately after the first book. Ella now knows there's a lot more to Tiero than should even imagine. Tiero will go to any means necessary to keep Ella with him and under his protection. However, Ella does not want to give up her existing live even though she loves Tiero. There is so many twists, turns, danger, mystery and of course steam in this book. If you have not read started on this series you need to and maybe re-read them before the final book comes out later this year. I can hardly wait. This is an amazing author and I have requested to join her ARC readers group. Great job Nikila.
Wow, people, just wow! I'll happily admit I binge-read this to the point of coming back from holiday at the arse end of the night, only to finally get into bed and continue reading. For me, mystery nut, I loved this book even more than the first. The angst, the mystery, the suspense were perfection (and I don't use this word lightly). What I absolutely love is the fact that I'm not sure if I should be rooting for the hero or not, but I seriously am. What's awesome about this is this is exactly what the heroine is trying to battle herself - you totally get into her psyche. And the ending?! Less than a month until the third book and it's still too long to wait. Gorgeous writing, characters, world-building, steam (but done in a sophisticated way). A must read!
I received an advanced copy of this book!! I am sooo glad I got to read this early cause its AMAZING!!! please remember this is book 2 of a trilogy and you really need to read book 1 first... sicilian sunset... just incase you haven't.. oky ....let's do this... Oky so we left Ella in a bit of a situation..my heart at the end of book one was racing! so we join Ella when she wakes up in a strange place . drugged scared and alone .. after meeting the love of her life on holiday she's now been thrown into a world she can not live in and she is in soo much danger .. but who is her captor and how will she survive!! Ella has to make some pretty brave choices all the way through this book .. and I swear my heart was in my mouth , the suspense , anguish and shock of the situation will have you on the edge of your seat. Now I can't say too much cause i really don't want to spoil a second of this book , but I have NEVER been so stunned by a storyline NEVER !! and I won't lie I messaged the Author literally like OH MY GOD!! what are you doing to me !! by the end of this book I still have no idea where Nikila Rose is taking this story and I love that .. I can't wait to see how it all ends.. so my main points for Nights at Sea, its a suspense filled, emotioal rollecoaster. written beautifully ,with some amazing moments of humour, love and heartbreak .the beautful mystical theme is still there throughout this book and if your a deep reader ,your gonna be stunned at just how incredible this story truly is . I would give more than 5 stars if I could ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
OMG... this trilogy is getting hot and it hooks you right in the beginning. Now another cliffhanger but it means it is closer to the end and i get to enjoy more of it when the last one comes out! This gets your heart pumping with all the action and drama that happens in the book and i really liked it a lot! Thank you Nikila.

Nights At Sea is book two of The Triple Flame Trilogy and requires having read book one, Sicilian Sunset. This book ends on a cliffhanger and will pick up where it finished in book three, A New Dawn. I loved reading about Ella and Tiero and seeing all the obstacles they have overcome. I just hope they make it for the long run. This is a long book filled with lots of interesting writing and plot points about the two main characters to create a well developed story which I will love re-reading. I highly recommend reading this book and finding more by this author. You won't regret it!.

This was my first read from this author. It was an intense story that had my attention from the beginning. I couldn't put the book down. I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future.

Nikila did not disappoint with the second installment of this trilogy. Nights At Sea was just as beautiful, dramatic and tense as Sicilian Sunset. I literally struggled to put this book down and go about my normal business because I was so desperate to find out what was coming next. Nikila sets a fast pace with endless twists and turns that keep you guessing and there's a subtle mystical air running through the story that is pure magic. I cannot wait for the final installment!
Ella just wanted a vacation. She didn't realize she was not only falling in love with Tiero, but that he was Mafia. She gets kidnapped and is trying to figure out if she can live this life.
Great story.

Wow, this is a turn of events! How will Ella get herself out of this one, or is there some unexpected help? Fantastic horror and drama in this dynamic narrative.
Nooooo it can't end there!!! What a rollercoaster, my emotions can't take much more. This review will be short because I really can't say much about this book without the possibility of spoiling it. This is the second book, you definitely need to read Sicilian Sunset first (actually read Highland Escapade, Sicilian Sunset then this one) and get ready for a wild ride. I need book3 NOW
Side Note: First, let me say that the books in this series have to be read in order. If they aren't, there WILL be some major spoilers ahead for the reader.
Nights At Sea, Book 2 of The Triple Flame trilogy, was about 26-year-old Ella Rose O'Neil, a guide dog trainer, and 32-year-old Gualtiero "Tiero" Leandro De Marco, the CEO of De Marco Corporation, and the Don of the De Marco family empire. This story picked up where Book 1 left off.
The prologue of this book provided some much-needed backstory that was missing from Book 1, and it started with Tiero's POV three years earlier with his wanting to purchase a new yacht. Although the salesman was trying to show him a much bigger vessel, Tiero's attention was drawn to an entirely different yacht, one that he was informed wasn't for sale. Still, he was determined it would be his. Once he was on board, there was a sight that made him recall a recurring dream he'd had as a child. He'd dreamed that Neptune had risen from the sea, pointed to the prongs of his trident, and informed Tiero that, "just like these prongs, there are three of you. Separate yet connected". (Sound familiar? Have you read something similar...perhaps from Book 1? Once again, it's important to point out that this would be a recurring theme in the trilogy. It's something that needs to be kept in mind as the reader digests the series.) He made certain the yacht was his by the end of the tour.
Chapter 1 leaped forward three years to Ella and her waking up after being kidnapped. Once she was able to think somewhat clearly, she recalled how she ended up...wherever she was, and, at the same time, she came to the conclusion she had been drugged and was experiencing her first-ever panic attack. She didn't manage to stay awake for long, the drugs in her system still working their magic on her. But she stayed awake long enough to take in her surroundings and take some precautions for her safety before the drugs pulled her back into unconsciousness once more. That didn't last long, though. Once a maid had provided her with breakfast, she tried to sleep again (without eating. She wasn't stupid enough to eat food that could be tainted.). However, her mind started recalling things that had happened during her kidnapping. Then sleep won out. When she woke up again, she checked the food that was still there from breakfast, only to realize...the omelet and tea were made to her exact specifications. What kidnapper knew her well enough to do that? After looking for her clothes, she found an entire brand-new designer wardrobe in her size. But when the maid returned, she demanded HER things. The maid went to find them, only to go back and tell her "the boss said no," and that he was waiting to talk with her. When she saw who "the boss" was, she realized it was the man who had kidnapped her.
During her conversation with her kidnapper, many revelations were brought to light, although she did not believe half of them. The longer they talked, the more she learned, and she was so determined to escape that she began to plan it out. Although she managed to escape, it didn't last long before she was found, drugged, and returned to her former place of captivity. It was only a short period before she realized her kidnapper had told her the truth about her abduction, and it broke her.
Once again, most of the book was written from Ella's POV, with a few chapters covering Tiero's POV. Unlike the first book, however, there was a third POV that came added to this story which introduced a new character by the name of Aiden Burg, someone who would add a new twist to the plot and change everything the reader thought they knew would happen. With that new twist in mind, it led straight into another cliffhanger, which announced Book 3.
This book was seven chapters longer than Book 1 and 14 chapters shorter than Book 3. It had more angst, drama, and contention than the first story, giving the characters room to grow, backslide, and change in rapid succession. The emotional rollercoaster ride had more twists and turns than its predecessor, and the push-pull between the two main characters upped the ante into the outer stratosphere.
While I believe the two main characters did mature a bit in this book, I have to admit I didn't like the way many scenes played out. It caused this reader to struggle with how I felt towards each one. There were times I wanted to slug both of them (mainly the MMC), and there were times I wanted to comfort each of them. In the end, I still didn't know whether or not to like either of them.
Due to the nature of the ending (another cliffy, right?), I decided to give this book a three-and-a-half star rating, rounded up to four. The book needed a lot of tweaking before it would earn anything higher. Now, I have to prepare myself to read the last book of the trilogy (even though there are three other novellas to follow), which is going to be much longer and hopefully shed some light on the paranormal-ish tones of the first two books. Let's see what it has in store for us...shall we?
From the very first page, I was enthralled by this book. It picks up right where Sicilian Sunset left off. Nights At Sea will have you sitting on the edge of your seat with heart pounding, thrilling, exciting scenes, and not being able to turn the page fast enough to find out what happens next. Nikila Rose is great at describing scenes and the details of what’s happening, so much so, that I felt like I was right alongside the characters. Ella finds herself caught between a rock and hard place, unsure of what to do and who to trust. Tiero is a bit controlling, demanding and frustrating at times, making me want to reach into the book and smack him for Ella. Even so, it’s hard to hate him. We also see a different side of Ella in this story. She’s feisty and combative when she needs to be. She was always strong-willed, as we saw in Sicilian Sunset but in this book, we see a lot of her determination, which I love!!
“We create magic together. We’re meant to be, angel.”
Nights At Sea leaves off on a cliffhanger and O-M-G!! I have so many theories and I cannot wait for the third and final installment to see how it all plays out. Be sure to read book one of the Triple Flame Trilogy, Sicilian Sunset, before diving into this one. That is where the adventure begins and you don’t want to miss it!!
“But however many days, weeks or years I have left, I want to spend them with you, Ella.”
Nikila Rose has a true gift writing these light-hearted, adventurous romances, with plot twists you won’t see coming and a pinch of mystery. This book will have you laughing, swooning and your stomach in knots all at the same time. When I started reading this trilogy, I had no idea where it was going to take me or how much I was going to love these characters and their story and I have no doubts that you will too. Buckle up and enjoy the ride…it’s a good (and sometimes bumpy) one!!
So, after I reviewed Sicilian Sunset, I'll be honest I had very little hope that this trilogy would be more than another version of 365 days. I felt the majority of the first book, was as if I had already read the book and watched the movie, so I was very skeptical to continue, but as I stated in that review, it was book three that really drew me in, so I was determined to get to book three. Which I've found out has two endings and I plan to read both.
This second book definitely captivated me much more and had me laughing way harder. I also got choked up towards the end envision Tiero's face when Ella gets on the train. I too had to board a train to get away from someone I loved, so that gutted me. I could feel Ella's mix of emotions, of freedom yet also heartbreak. It's weird to feel happy and sad all at once, amongst the guilt. Overall I think I would give this a 3.5, possibly a four, but I did end up with a four here.
My only complaint really was the grammatical errors, spelling errors, etc. I'm an editor so it's hard for me to not miss those things and after some time it adds up. These were issues in the first book as well, but for me at least it didn't completely take away from the story. Now to decide which ending to read first, the original or the alternative.
This is the 2nd book in The Triple Flame Trilogy, and WOW what a read, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ are just not enough, this book is absolutely brilliant, don't get me wrong there were moments where I was like WTF no you can't or you have got to be kidding me and then there were moments where the tissues were needed or I just wanted to jump into the book and kick some ass my self, this book plays with absolutely every emotion possible, it's gripping, hot, heart stopping and keeps you at the edge of the seat. A book that I didn't what to end and then it did on a cliff hanger. NOOOOOOO I need more.....I seriously cannot wait for the next book, but then I know the next book is the last one and it will be the end of Teiro and Ella's story and I really don't want it to end whether its a HEA or not because to be quite honest you cannot predict how this story will end. This book is so beautifully written. I absolutely love it and it will definitely be a trilogy that I will go back and read time and time again. ❤️❤️❤️
This was AMAZING! Truly. Nikila is a brilliant writer. You would never know this was only her third book.✨
The way she makes you feel all the emotions that Ella goes through is superb. I felt it all! The angst was high in this part of the trilogy, and I loved it. How Ella and Tiero feel about each other broke my heart so many times in so many ways.🌙
This installment of The Triple Flame Trilogy was fast-paced. It kept me turning the pages, not wanting to sleep, eat dinner… I HAD to know the next part, what was coming, what he was going to do, what she was going to say… it’s so addictive!✨
I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE LAST BOOK IN THE TRILOGY!!!🌙
There are so many things that need to be concluded! So many things left unanswered.. and I’m dying to know the answers.✨
Um wow. Just finished off a 430page book in less than 24hours. Nights At Sea is book two of the Triple Flame Trilogy by Nikila Rose. You have to read book one before reading this one. And you really should read the book before this in the Escape Series as this is book 3 of that overarching series.
Ella was kidnapped. Not only kidnapped, but drugged as well. We find her right where book one leaves off. So many questions that she has to work through. If it’s Tiero, can she ever trust him? Is he who she thought he was? Is she in danger? Can she ever get away?
This book was so so good. I had to pick up the third book immediately as this ended in a cliffhanger like the first one did. Just do yourself a favor and pick it up
Fun , sexy , witty banter , humor , Angsty, steamy , intriguing, heartbreaking, heartfelt, emotionally charged , second chances , twists and turns , page Turner , unforgettable and unputdownable. Night at Sea is all of the above and so much more . From the moment I sat down and started reading I found myself falling in love not only with the Amazing storyline but also with the wonderfully written characters, so likable , so relatable, unique and multi layered . Prepare yourself to get 100% sucked into their unforgettable journey . What a emotional rollercoaster. I can’t remember the last time I devoured a book so quickly.

Wow ! Ella is one bad ass women ! Not many women could try multiple times to escape the mafia and the final time well we are unsure where that ends as the ending is a huge cliffhanger ! I love how independent and fierce she is she is one of the best FMC I’ve read in a long time. We see Tiero pushing Ella in getting his own way but everything Ella is as a person keeps surprising him. Yeah he may love her and she may love him but she is not from his world she wouldn’t just sit back and become a mafia wife to be seen and not heard that is not who Ella is and the more tiero keeps ignoring her she was bound to run !
Cannot wait for book 3 and knowing there is two different endings I’m excited to what happens to our girl !
Where this segment starts is with Ella waking up not knowing where she is. She realizes she was drugged and is so scared. She had just been on vacation and met her love. Who took her? And why? This is a world she doesn't want. Where is Tiero? So much happens in this story. Danger, suspense, plot twists so unexpected, even and a bit of humor. Your won't want to put it down. And- there is a cliffhanger but part three is yet to come.

Book 2 in the series - so remember to read Book 1 (Sicilian Sunset) before starting this one! And be aware that they leave on big cliffhangers! Hooks you in right from the beginning, I didn't want to put it down and find out what was coming next. Lots of suspense and twists - an emotional rollercoaster. Written so beautifully - lots of suspense, humor, action, and drama. Really enjoyed this and can't wait to read more from Nikila Rose.

I loved the book the continuation from book one, book two was just as good as the first. Things are happening it is becoming more dangerous. Tiero had Ella kidnapped and drugged to take her but when she wakes up is not good she gets really bad headache and sick. Now will she forgive him or keep hating him for everything that has happened.
