STORY:
WHAT I LIKED:
Milo was very interesting. He gave me jerk, bully, ace hole and intensity. At times he is the guy you want to hate. His character gave me a little excitement, mostly when he encounters Lucie. Was it bad some times yes, but the darkness/toxicity made it more interesting for me (weird, I know). As the story unfolds I like that we got a little mafia mix with the college aspect. Lucie, she has been put through the ringer. Hard not liking her a bit but the pull and tug between her and Milo was exciting. Definitely a lot of ingredients in this book, so if you are familiar with the author’s work, then it might be your thing. I would advise reading the pervious books.
**side note: Milo had sex with OW.
WHAT WAS SO SO:
All the religious things bother me this time around. I sound like an oxymoron!! I know!!! I love dark romances but sometimes the religious stuff in this book gets to me. I hated the Lucifer nick name. If that doesn’t bother you along with certain themes, then you should be good to go with this book.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY
They had good sexual chemistry and I was fully satisfied with their sex scenes. Not going to lie, the toxicity added to it as well.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS:
I read book 1, and it was good to see Delilah and Gabe. Didn’t not review book 2, but I am familiar with Hazel and Adam.
OVERALL:

L.J. Woods definitely knows her way around bully dark romances, but she doesn't stay only to this aspect on the books... She is mixing too many ingredients in order to have an explosive result!!!
I won't lie to you that this story was kind of frustrated, a mix of bully, religion and mafia world, but it was hot as hell and very intriguing!!!
Lucie was a badass heroine and Milo... OH. MY. GOD. He was about to rain hell upon Lucie's life, but Lucie wouldn't be a hellfire if she would stay with her hands crossed by. Yeah???
"This school wiii be your hell. And you? You'll be mine."
Lucie is back on Clementine town and she has to be atoned for her past sins...
Her only way out of her religious house and family is to study for becoming a pastor. Something that she doesn't really want, but she has no other choice...
What she didn't take into consideration is that Milo Murphy, a boy that he used to mean more to her and the boy who ruined her life, was fighting for the same place and he was determined to do anything in order to vanish her of his life and this town!!!
"Everything was fine... until I met Milo Murphy. And a year later, he's still making my life hell."
Milo Murphy has lots of ugly things on his plate... He got involved unwillingly with the wrong crowd and they demand his total loyalty in ways that he could never imagine...
Now he has to become a pastor in order to survive!!!
Lucie Lozano's coming back doesn't help the ugly situation that we had put his life in... He has so much pending aggression toward the girl who got away....
He wants her, but he needs to destroy her...

These two were explosive together....
Milo was very bad from time to time, but he could be good as well!!! He was very loyal to the ones he considered a family and even though he wanted to ruin Lucie, he was still very protected of her, even when he didn't show it!!! LOL!!!

She just want to move forward, but her past doesn't letting her live in peace...
These two were both lunatics, but the sex between them was steamy in the nth degree!!!

This author is one of my favorite bully romance authors she definitely knows how to write a swoon worthy bully alpha antihero there’s just something about her characters that draw you in and has you falling at their feet and Milo just might be my favorite! This story was so explosive the twists and turns the chemistry the heat ! Did I mention L.J. Woods also writes some of the hottest filthiest sex scenes I’m talking top notch ! I’ve loved absolutely everything I’ve ever read by this author and this story was no different I can’t wait to see what she does next !

If you love bully romance than this author is for you! Nobody writes a bully alpha antihero better, over here making me want things that should have me questioning my sanity. I adore this author and have loved every book she’s ever written but this one take the top spot- her best to date.
Milo Murphy lived up to every expectation and I’m so glad I staked my claim early 😉 Milo and Lucie are as explosive as this story, my jaw was on the floor more often than not, the chemistry, the twists, the secrets all so good. I really can’t say much more because you need to dive in and be ready for the most fantastic dark bully romance you’ll read this year.
After that ending I can’t wait for what’s to come from this author. Do it, you won’t be disappointed, just remember I licked him so he’s mine 😉

Just wow
I have been loving this series since the very beginning and with each different character and storyline the more involved and invested I get. This one is no different. It takes an even different twist to the crazy tale of this town. The woman who somehow figured out how to tame them, and the friends they will do anything for.

WOW! I'm honestly so mindblown at how deliciously messed up and amazing this book is. LJ Woods completely out did herself with the entire novel. The characters were so flawed in the best possible way. The plot held so much depth with tons of twists and turns. She even broke my heart with one of the twists!!
"I don’t have to put up with him. He’s lethal. Poison. And there’s no way I’m injecting that into my bloodstream again."
Milo Murphy completely shocked me. I loved his bully side of the book; it was so well written, and I just wanted more. But, the development of his character was perfect, and I fell in love with him so much. I need more, Milo! If you enjoy possessive antiheroes, then you're going to love him!!
"Lucie Lozano is the worst thing that’s ever entered my system. Like a fiend, I crave more."
What shocked me even more was Lucie's character. She screams girl power and is such a bada** and it only gets better as her character develops. She's one of my favorite heroines I've read in a long time.
Milo + Lucie = 🔥🔥🔥🔥. There's honestly no other way to put it. They are fire together in every aspect.

I received a copy of this arc in exchange for my honest review. If you like a hot and dark bully romance, then this IS IT. This author exceeds my expectations each and every time with her MMC. They’re twisted, dark, and absolutely vicious ! It just takes the right woman to get their s**t together .
Lucie shows back in Milo’s life unexpectedly. Both of them are at Saint Angels Academy, both with the same end game goal. She’s got a secret he’s yet to find out ,and Milo wants her out of his school and has everyone treating her as an outcast . The more he tries driving her away, the more motivated she is to stay.
His torment turns into an attraction they can’t deny for one another , in time driving them into a dark and toxic relationship. They are hot and absolute fireworks together. There were twists throughout this entire story , some that will leave you speechless. There’s not much else to say aside from; If you like dark and bully, read this dark romance. It’s got all the kinks, all the chemistry and all the mystery.
Again, this author blows us out of the water with her brilliant twisted mind!

I was introduced to this author thru Booksprout and I am a huge fan no one writes in the bully genre like LJ Woods
Let’s start with how addicting the cover visual is of Milo Murphy. I think it alone may cause you to one click !
Give Her Hell is another standalone in the Godfrey Ministries world with appearances of characters from previous books. It could be read as a standalone but I highly suggest reading other books in the series.
Milo and Lucie ( Lucifer ) are my favorite characters for a number of reasons mostly because they are so flawed but together they are perfection.
Readers are in for a wild ride and WOW I was not expecting the number of plot twists at the end. This is a spoiler free review and lets just say you are going to want more!

I had a feeling Milo would end up being my favorite and I wasn't wrong. I love how he puts everyone he loves first and will do anything possible to keep them safe. Lucie I feel like is the perfect girl for him. I love how easily they just clicked and really enjoyed the dark twisted romance between the two of them. I will say that a couple of times I wanted to punch her mom in the face. I couldn't believe how someone could act such a way and be so blinded by their own beliefs that they would treat their family like they way she did.
This book definitely gets intense between the mafia and everything else. I was drawn in from the very first chapter and had a hard time tearing myself away until it was finished. That ending definitely had me shocked. I was not suspecting that at all.
L.J Woods is becoming one of my must read authors. So far I have not been disappointed from what I've read of hers. I really enjoyed this book and highly reccomend to check it out as well as her other stories.

Ugh, I knew I was going to LOVE Milo. I love all of LJ's antihero alphaholes... they're definitely swoon worthy!
I love being back in the town of Clementine, it's a town full of God fearing people, with so, so many secrets. Lucie is back, and Milo is not happy. He's going to do everything in his power to get her to leave, but she's doing everything she can to stay and make her escape when the time is right.
There's so many secrets and I've been eyeballing one and even though I was putting the pieces together, I was shocked when it came out. If you've read any of LJ's books, you KNOW there's going to be more than one shocking twist.
Lucie and Milo are so toxic, I mean who doesn't love their couples that way. They're perfect for each other and do nothing by halves when it comes to their relationship. It was also fun to see Delilah, Gabe, Hazel and Adam.

Drugs, mafia, murders, bullying, dark, taboo, bible thumper town, page tuner… just to name a few of what I’ve just read. This grabbed my attention and never let go. New author for me and I will definitely be looking out for more than n the future.
Loads of sensitive subjects in this one books all this I love in books and this one has the majority. Secret baby, second chance, bad alphahole of the male lead that has a serious drinking drug problem that like to inflict pain while finding pleasure, I will mention Milo is bi and his father was a bad abuser. He got demons and only the one girl he hates but loves is his missing piece to make is bearable to want to live but at what cost?
Lucie ‘Lucifer’ what Milo and his flock of bible thumping collage peers call her. She has demons and the worth one of the demons is Milo freaking Murphy. The one man she craves his darkness but he’s the one making her school like hell.

Oh, my 🔥🥵
I'm so glad for TikTok! I came across one of L.J. Woods's videos and it grabbed my attention. I mean who doesn't love an amazing written bully romance book! After the first chapter I was hooked, I needed to know more about Milo and what his story was. What led him to make the choices he made and how much of a bad boy he was. Which was no doubt he was the worst of the worst. Sadly, poor Lucie was his target. They had a past that fueled the fire between them even more. However, Lucie was holding a big secret from Milo that could change everything between them. He would either love or hate her for it. If I could give this book a 10/10 I most definitely would! and not just because of the steamy scenes that L.J. Woods did such an amazing job writing but the way these characters develop and the mouth-dropping surprises that keep you on your toes. I look forward to reading more of her books. 🖤

I did not read the other books in the series so I don’t know if Lucie and Milo’s backstory was shown there. He is beyond awful to her for quite a while, apparently because she left and he didn’t know why. I don’t think that was explained very well. They are both pretty messed up because of their families. Lucie’s mother is basically holding Lucie’s infant daughter Pandora hostage. I would have liked to have seen what happened with Eve play out. The twins are an interesting addition to the group. I hope Milo’s family can recover from their tragedy because he loves them so much—man did my heart break. I think parts of the story ran a little long, but not terribly so. There are some interesting uses of knives and guns.

He’s everything you want in a book boyfriend—protective, dirty talking, and a complete alpha. Lucie is definitely one of my favorite FMC’s to date. She doesn’t take any crap and will do anything to protect those she loves, even if that means losing it all.
This book is dark, hot, emotional, and suspensful. At one point, I thought my heart was going to beat out of my chest. LJ Woods is a phenomenal author. She pulls you in from the start and won’t let you go until the end, and you’re still wanting more. I devoured this book and I’m ready for what’s coming next.

Milo Murphy is a force to be reckoned with. He’s dark, savage, and gives zero fucks. But when it comes down to it, he’s protective and the antihero alpha-douche we all tend to lust for.
Lucie is a bit all over the place. Keeping secrets while trying to better her life, yet always finds herself in precarious situations. She’s strong but somehow still let’s Milo get to her in some of the worst ways. She had me begging her to wake up and fight back. Give that man what he deserves!
These two are hot and heavy and LJ always knows how to write all the steam!!

A dark and twisted college bully romance on a whole new level.
Milo, you can love him or hate him but I think the latter. Milo acts according to his feelings in my
opinion. And he always does that in the extreme without a filter. Milo is much more emotional as
you may think. Lucie has to act with her mind, but is caught up by the young girl she is. And when
she is with Milo she forgets all that and she becomes like him. Both together are explosive, with
each other and for each other. But they do have one or two things in common. The story is in two
worlds that actually do not come together like that, but that is what makes the book so exciting,
exciting and interesting. If you are a fan of crime, desire, hot scenes and yes, romance, then you
have to read it.

What a bully romance! I thought LJs past books were amazing, but this one broke the mould...its perfection! The story itself is full of twists and secrets and in typical LJ style you just wont see them coming and your left feeling completely shocked!

Listen, I don't think LJs books can get anymore messed, but dammit she did it again. I have loved every book in this series, but by far, Milos is my favorite.
Lucie was handed a shit past but ended up coming out on top. She held her ground even when people pushed her to her breaking point. She truly was a bad ass. I admired her.
Milo, can I just say wow! I knew he was fucked up as the others, but damn he pushed limits. He also was dealt the cards of a shitty past, but he continued to rise above it all.
Now them together well that was hot as fuck as in I need to shower afterward. They sexually pushed limits in this book, and it was 🔥🔥
Now that twist and the ending, HOLY SHIT! LJ, you did it again to me, and I ate up every word in this book.

I found this story to be steamy hot but sweet. Nelson knew from the moment he saw Lailani that he wanted her to be his. However, Lailani works at the sex resort and cannot cross the line between employee and client, no matter how persistent Nelson is as it will affect her job. There is an unexpected twist that results in their HEA that was fun read. I thought that the chemistry between Nelson and Lailani was sizzling, and he was so persistent but sweet in his efforts to woo her. Talk about a swoon-worthy alpha!

L.J. Woods promised an even darker journey into the SAA World and she has delivered 💯%. Milo is super intense, depraved, possessive, and hot😈🥵; exactly the type of man from the SAA World. Lucie has been through so much, and still going through it. She is a strong, resilient individual and she would need to be to put up with Murphy. This book starts off with a bang and just keeps going, I didn't want it to end. This book will take you through so many emotions but it's totally worth it, be prepared. This is a mafia, bully, sort of second chances, secret baby dark romance. If you love L.J. Woods and the SAA World, I definitely recommend reading 👍👍.

I am a LJ Woods virgin and this story just made me a fan. Ill be looking for more from this author & series. From the start to finish... I was pulled in and engaged. Give her Hell was dark, intense, The characters were so flawed in the best possible way. The plot held so much depth with tons of twists and turns.

Best one of the series
Honestly if you can get past the God references, the over the top religious people,the Bible quotes ( which in my opinion the author could've done without) it really was fun to read. I loved Lucie and Milo darkness, I loved that they were not your typical enemies to lovers, and it was so exciting to read.

Lucie and Milo’s love hate relationship was insanely hot and a bit wild. The way they both challenge each other a lot of the times was always entertaining. The secrets between them was what troubled their relationship and the crazy sacrifices they both made was much needed to help their family’s future.

This just wasn’t for me. I didn’t like how we didn’t see a single thing from their past and how quickly everything moved. They see each other again and then they go to school and her enemies and then he’s her father and they move in together and then on and on and it was just too fast for my liking.

Omg this series keeps getting better! I just love every moment of this series. Lucie and Milo's story.....hot! Talk about alpha, mafia, bully and so much chemistry. This book is so worth the read. I can't wait for the next book.

This is a dark romance with triggers so be sure to read the author's notes. I'm blown away with how good this one is and Milo is.. well perfect in his dark twisted way.
