Now, she must navigate a world she only ever read about in fairytales. Yet, no story could have prepared her for Xander Adolphus—the volatile Alpha of the Adolphus Pack—and the seductive soulmark that binds their souls together.
Trapped in a carnal game of cat and mouse, she must tread unfamiliar ground where one false move could result in war. Can she outrun a wolf bound and determined to mark her as his? Or will this new world swallow her whole?

Midnight Scoundrel (A Soulmark Series Book 2)
Stealing isn’t personal. At least not to Quinn Montgomery.
Yet, when her latest heist to steal from the Adolphus family tailspins her into the supernatural world that’s hiding in plain sight, she must learn to steel her nerves... and her heart.

Wardens of Starlight (A Soulmark Series Book 3)
Evil hides in all shapes and forms—of this the Wardens of Starlight are certain—but it’s those of the supernatural variety they hunt without remorse.
By a cruel twist of fate, Starlight Warden Calliope Sawyer is forced to question everything she’s come to know when confronted with her soulmark: a dangerous lycan. Now, these two enemies must decide whether to fight for love or fight for each other.
Do you believe in magic? Rebecca Main does. Her magic wand is a well-worn pen that’s been known to weave stories that transport readers to other worlds. Other enchanting pastimes of Rebecca include traveling and showering her two cats, Dorcas and Pudge, with love.

I didn’t take any notes while reading, because I was traveling and knew this would be a short review. I grabbed the three book set of A Soulmark Series by Rebecca Main for free from Amazon, and I believe it is still free. I got lost in this supernatural world, with characters that make me want to know more and I read one right after the other. Each book tells a couple’s story, but the overall storyline continues. Because the novels are familiar and easy to know where the author is taking me, no book surprises, I have rated the set as a 3, but each book got me more involved and when I met Calliope my feelings amped up and I raced through the pages. I was so disappointed when I reached the end. When I grabbed the book set, I thought it would be the complete series, but I believe there are 5 total. Will I finish the series? Hard to say, but I surely want to know how the characters can end with a happy ever after.
It was not a bad book but missed more excitement. I don't have a problem with stubborn woman LOL but Zoe was a bit intense. I actually missed that she never had any interesting conversations about her gift with her aunts. I would have loved more spells, I believe that would have lift the story a bit, because on some pages it was a bit boring. Not detailed enough regarding to spells and power. What I want to say is that the first two stories from Zoe and Queen were ok. But I had a problem with the last story, I was asking myself what I am I reading now, starlight warden? There was not really a connection to the other story, that I actually neatly stopped reading because there was not one character I know, this came a lot later, so I didn't like this, it would have been better to make a connection at least to one character to know what is going on and why it's start with the Starlight warden, this was confusing. The book was not bad but to spend this much money on the next book this one here should have knocked my socks of. But it didn't, so for this I don't spend this kind of money on the next one sorry.
I liked these three books, however one thing I found missing in all three of them was a moment when the female character confesses her insecurities (or the reason she's been hesitant to jump on board with this relationship) to the male character. The better part of all three stories is a lot of reflection on why she shouldn't be with him. And then all of a sudden, she ends up with him. Without confiding her fears or hesitations. It's confusing and makes the reader question what all of a sudden changed the female character's mind.
Also, the plot line continues to thicken throughout all three books, but often gets lost during the story. The male character is constantly asking something of the female character and it seemed that the females often forgot what leverage they had and wouldn't make a bargain in return for what they wanted. And the plot gets lost when trying to compete with the story of the soul marks as well. (Spoiler Alert): For example, in the third book, Callie says she's going to Branson Falls to save Nova and she only has 48-72 hours to use Vogart's Blade. Yet, as soon as she gets captured, she doesn't make an attempt at escape, to retrieve the weapon, or even THINK about how to get to Nova before time runs out. And when she finally gets closer to the wolves, she doesn't confide in them and see if they can help her Nova. As a result, I kept asking myself for most of the story when she was going to remember her original purpose for making the trip. And it became distracting.
Also, if you're looking for steamy romances, these books differ. The first and third are pretty tame, with not nearly enough detail. The second starts off immediately with a pretty erotic scene. So between all three, there's a bit of everything but I do wish that the third book spent more time building up the romantic and sexual connection between the two main characters rather than following the plot line.
Soulmark is a magical journey with witches and wolves and love. All three books surround the same pack, starting with the Alpha. All three have some amazing female leads. They are fierce, tough, and super independent. The guys are all dreamy, though Xander is my favorite.
The first book we have Zoelle and Xander. They start off on the wrong foot, but after a few mishaps find their soulmate bond can't be denied. Zoelle is fiercely independent and stubborn. She fights Xander and keeps him on his toes. Through the hard times of war, they find solace in each other.
The second book we have Quinn and Ryatt. Ryatt is the funny and teasing one, yet still can be the dominant wolf at any given moment. Quinn is a badass. She's a professional thief and steals an important item from Ryatt. Their story had me chuckling, Ryatt is hilarious. With sparks flying the chemistry was off the charts and instantly had me hooked.
The third book we have Keenan and Callie. Callie is a warrior, no seriously a legit warrior. We meet Keenan briefly in the first book, get to know him more in the secomd, and really start loving him in the third. Vampyres, wolves, Starlight warriors, they all add to this amazing storyline and keep you glued to the pages.
Overall, this three book box set gives you a wonderful paranormal romance and captivating stories that keep you begging for more!
This three book set is the beginning of a new wolf, witch, vampire, warden and fae series, with the main focus on the Adolphus wolf shifter pack. I typically prefer romances that have an external threat rather than internal fighting. Books one and two are primarily internal, with a lot of denial, anger, confusion, resistance and ultimate acceptance on the part of the female main characters. But book three is different. Callie is a warrior, a warden, and belongs to an organization that protects the human race and ancient relics by eliminating supernatuals. Imagine her shock when she discovers the other half of her soul belongs to a wolf shifter, a death sentence for her if the wardens learn of her "betrayal". Along with that, the pack is facing imminent danger from multiple fronts, and the story takes off. Unfortunately, for me, it took awhile to get there.
Zoelle is so annoying and her not taking responsibility for HER actions is seemingly okay with everyone around her. Xander constantly tries to let her know how he feels and she is so selfish and stupid that she doesn’t even seem to hear him.
She ignores EVERYTHING and has to be told repeatedly that she is being unreasonable and she keeps being bull headed and stubborn for no good reason. It’s so annoying that I actually hate the character.
Ryatt’s story starts off with typical arrogance and sex. It’s dull to say the least. I couldn’t make it past the first few pages. 😑

Three interesting romance stories. Basically you are reading about a male who is trying to convince a female that she is his soulmate. The action/ mystery part of the story is not strong but the romance is well written. I was hoping for more action/ mystery to the books and less whiny romance as the women involved did not want to be soul mates and complained a lot before they were convinced/ seduced.
Amazing, if you like this genre of books! I found I could not put down. Real page turner 😊 once my internet problem is resolved I will be looking at following on the series.
Great books(s) I would happily suffer another lockdown if I could be reading these books 24/7. Thank you Rebecca, keep up the good work
I liked the characters which had depth. Everyone is different with strengths and weaknesses. The stories were interesting and keep you zooming through the book. I was disappointed when I read the preview of the 4th book which sounds awesome but is too pricey for me.
I really liked this series! Don’t ask me why, because the more I think about it it’s the classic, “Man knows they’re meant to be together, woman says no, and man stalks her until she sees the light.” 😂 😑 But they were quick, easy, entertaining reads none the less.
What an amazing Series! The storylines are well thought out and the characters are solid. Mrs. Main has an extraordinary talent in building the characters, showing their emotions and weaving a tale. Just finished Mr. Irvana, OMG, just awesome!!
The trilogy that came, had three books. The first and second both had good solid characters and plots, the third felt disjointed and lost. I enjoyed the first two.
Xander and Zoelle's story boring. Their story seemed hurried and could have dipped more into the storylines left open. Same for Ryatt and Quinn. The third book is much better and pulls you in with action and fear.
I enjoyed the characters. My only problem with the books were how the author so abruptly joined them. At first I was thrown off, until the well known characters came into the storyline. Good plot, worth reading.
The first three books are unlike any I’ve ever read! Though the third is by far my favorite due to the characters whom are bound. Beyond excited to read the rest! A must read to anyone that loves the paranormal/fantasy/romance!
Excellent writing,, characters and plots. All connected but also seperate. Look forward to Irina's story and hopefully Noelle's. Thanks for a whole new wonderful spin...
Average. I only read book one and half of book 2. Same story different characters. Guy chases soulmate, soulmate pushes, runs, resists. Disappointing but not a bad read if you don't mind the repetition.
Anyone who is a fan of paranormal romances will love these books. Action packed, crazy love stories that were thought never to happen will be happily ever after! With witches, werewolves, vampires, and plain old humans you never quite know what to expect!
I enjoyed every page of these books. It is a theme as old as time, but with unique twists and turns. Kudos to Rebecca Main. I look forward to completing the series.
