Do you want to know what happens when a couple loves so much, so hard, so all consuming that they become addicted to each other and in doing so become the most toxic drug for one another? If so, you need to read this trilogy, now! This author once again shreds our hearts, but we are pieced back together oh so beautifully. It's messy, but most beautiful things are, right!

Killian and Ainsley have allowed me to fall in love with them. With their flaws, with their truths and with their lies. They make you yearn to find the good in the them. It's there, you just need to get past all the dark and the hurts.

My heart soared in parts and it also bleed out in others. I didn't seem some things coming and man was I giddy and thought to myself "Yes, this is why this author will always have me as a fan!" She knows what she's doing to make everything fit so perfectly back together. Gotta trust the entire process. This book was so raw and emotional, but so very much needed. Stripped down and souls barred.

I'm so sad to see this couple's epic story finished! So glad I allowed them inside my heart... and that's where they'll stay.

***4 "A Beautiful Mess!!!" stars***

"That's what we are, baby. We're fucking poison. I'm the toxin and you're my antidote."

Addiction is destructive and when life is punching you in the gut and is forcing you to adress the elephant in the room, you have to accept that it's time for some great changes...
But the road to recovery is not an easy road... It has its highs and its lows... It is breaking you from inside...
And what will happen when you are forced to realize that this road is a lonely one if you really want to lead you in succession???
What will happen when you realize that the one you love is actually the one that is pulling you under???

"There's no happy ending to a story like ours if we aren't willing to change. We will only drag each other back down."

This wasn't an easy story to read...
It guts you and it breaks you!!!! It is a painful journey which will end up one way or another...
Ainsley and Killian were toxic together and they were feeding each other's addiction constantly...
But then a fateful night, everything changed for them...
Killian took the fall and Ainsley realized that if she wanted to get well, she had to want it for herself and to stop the nonsenses...
And then, after a whole year, fate is bringing them together again and they realized that their addiction for each other never left them, but they were always toxic together. Can they really turn around their relationship in something healthier???

"I'm the fucking villain in this story and she's the ethereal angel that got tarnished by the devil."

This story is breaking your heart....
Killian's love for Ainsley never stopped shining but his approach to Ainsley wasn't always right... But i can not accuse him that he never loved her cause in here, he proved us that her well being was above everything else...
Ainsley after so many lapses, she finally decided to work on herself and her addiction because she was the one with the biggest problem here...
These two had lived so much together... bad, good, ugly... yes, they were a toxic mess, but they were beautiful together...
Their story was one lovely journey with rough patches along the way... and I really enjoyed it!!!

"You're the one addiction that I'll never be able to be sober from. I can't live without you, baby girl."

CM Radcliff has such a propensity for writing heartbreaking, tumultuous love storys born out of toxicity and chaos that evolve from something unhealthy and fragile into something redemptive and whole. Something stable and restorative. The journey is always hard, unflinchingly raw and emotional, but the Herculean effort it takes her characters to find their HEA makes the ending all the sweeter. And the Dazed trilogy is such a beautiful testament to her point of view- yet another love story born out of addictive and heartbreak that finds its way to something healing.

These characters have been through SO much. And after the shocking cliffhanger in the finale of the second book, we knew they had some real work to do. Addiction, deep pain, emotional wounds and tragic flaws- just when you think things can’t get any harder, any more rock bottom, they’ve somehow found their way there.

But through all the hardship and adversity, Killian and Ainsley’s love has survived. This thematic meaning consistently plays out in CM’s work- the extent to which love can survive the worst of our humanity, how addiction and mistakes and adversity either make or break true love. Can love survive all odds? It is truly unconditional? We see now, as these two have started to grow up, to evolve and face the best…and worst…parts of themselves. Their love stays true, but they learn to evolve it from something fractured and unhealthy into something more secure and stable. Because CM shows us one of the most important part of loving- letting love mature and grow. How true love requires facing one self, evolving, and growing together…and not apart. And boy did these two have such a hard journey to do that- but in the end, love GROWS. It adapts. But it stays true.

After it all, after all the heartbreak and deeply raw and vulnerable depictions of addiction and emotional darkness, CM leaves us yet again with hope. Hope that while addiction is consuming and destructive, that perhaps love, combined with the resolve of the human will, can be enough to break its hold. It may not be the truth for so many, but it's the optimistic point of view our hearts need to keep believing, to keep healing. Yet another heart wrenching but heart healing story from this unique story teller!

What a beautifully written and intensely soul healing ending. This series took root from the very first moment I opened it pages until the very end. C.M has this heartbreakingly intense way of writing that rips and tears at your very being from the inside out until your nothing but frayed nerves. Her stories always without fail pull you in and immerse you in the tragically dark and painful world of addiction. She doesn’t hold back, showing you the raw and unfiltered reality of this world. But she also illustrates the power of love and devotion. She gives you a view of what happens as relationships evolve and people chose to get better, to be better for those that they love. C.M demonstrates the power that love holds its ability to turn something tragic into something beautiful. Something broken into something healed. Something fragile into something strong. Her stories are more than just the darkness of addiction they are about strength and courage.

They say once you hit rock bottom, you can only go up, but what if getting up proves easier said than done?

Ainsley and Killian after a life threatening event, finally come to term with their addiction, their past actions bring consequences, they need to face reality, however temptation is always one step away, besides being apart isn’t working and being together is toxic. How long before they destroy themselves while trying to save one another?

“~𝑾𝒆 𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒗𝒍𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒈𝒐 𝒔𝒍𝒐𝒘. 𝑰𝒕'𝒔 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒐𝒓 𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒊𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒖𝒔. 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒔𝒏'𝒕 𝒂 𝒇𝒖𝒄𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒊𝒕'𝒔 𝒂𝒍𝒍, 𝒃𝒂𝒃𝒚 𝒈𝒊𝒓𝒍~

Ms Radcliff ends this touching, heartbreaking story with another painful punch, her words sing a tune infused with despair and hopelessnesses, her raw writing is a powerful touch and it’s impossible to remain unaffected by Ainsley and Killian’s story. Don’t be afraid of the pain, take this emotional journey there is a hopeful light at the end.

Book three is all about rehab, recovery, and resolution. Jillian spends a year in prison for possession from the accident. Ainsley spent the past year in rehab, and she’s finally on the other side. They end up at the same facility, with him as a patient and her as staff. Some sneaking around threatens them both. But of course they get back together and it’s happily ever after. Or not. We don’t know because the author didn’t give us an epilogue, which was a choice. I think it was a good one.

Talk about an incredible journey through three books following Ainsley and Killian. This book brings their relationship full circle and goes through them healing themselves internally. Truly the author did an exceptional job of bringing to life the addict's mindset and all the emotions and roller coasters of relationships thrown into the mix. I am so hesitant as to what to say but just know as a reader this is one roller coaster that will take you through all the emotions and when it is all over will leave you sitting there in the best of ways wondering about the incredible journey of emotions you just went through.

I can finally breathe again!!!!

A weight has been lifted off my chest. This book is a total climax to Ainsley and Kills story. The third book in their trilogy and I feel so whole.

An absolutely intense ride throughout and the exact ending that I craved for them.
I couldn’t have chosen a better story and ending for these two. Love loved them!!!!!

4/5

- He was arrested for one year because he had drugs on the car at the time of the crash (they were Ainsley’s but he took the fault for her)
- She went to the hospital and was in a coma for two weeks
- She finally went to an inpatient treatment center.
- After prison he had to go to rehab because it was court ordered (even though he was sober). He ended up at the same rehab that Ainsley was at.
- They’re addicted to each other like they always were. Love that
- They were caught and had to “break up” for three months
- After the three months they were both out of the program officially and into the real world. They both stayed at her mothers place.
- Then they got back together

C.m. Radcliff did it AGAIN!!!!! I am truly in awe of her one-of-a-kind ability. She is able to write about addiction, recovery, suffering, light at the end of the tunnel and just all of that like no other... she is truly one-of-a-kind and deserves all the freaking stars on every single book she writes. PERIOD.

Ainsley is going through recovery at rehab after she is released from the car crash, and things are going really well for her while she is clean and working at Better Daze, while still being apart of the program. Kill has been in jail for the past year and gets released and taken to Better Daze, where he must also prove he is going to stay clean and sober since he is also on probation. Neither of them were expecting to run into either other at the same treatment facility, though lets be honest here, even if Killian didn't go to Better Daze, he would find his girl as soon as he got out, unless Ainsley found him first. They both want to be with each other so badly, but are they truly ready to put all their toxicity behind and find true happiness? Can they keep saying no to their demons and leaving all the drugs behind? YES, YES, YES. THEY CAN AND THEY WILL!! There had to be a lot of secrecy between Kill and Ainsley at first since they had to sneak around and not get caught since Ainsley is in her final steps of recovery, and Killian just got started and it isn't really allowed. And the steamy scenes are so freaking juicy despite all the sneaking around they have to do.... ahhh they were so good *chef's kiss*, they are both constantly drawn to each other and nothing can keep them apart so when they are together everything is felt to the highest level possible and they break lose in each other's touch. Like I said, soulmates is what they are. This is the type of connection and love people YEARN to have in their life, something so rare most people will never get to experience it. After they both were out of Better Daze, they weren't sure where they'd go from there, they both knew they wanted each other... but they weren't sure how to go about it at first, though that issue soon gets resolved and they find each other because soulmates can't stay apart. ;)

My heart broke a lot for Killian in this book, he was able to finally work through his issues and see his TRUE SELF WORTH and that he is worthy of Ainsley and her love. He is worthy to have a successful life. He is worthy for all the good things in life. He was always so angry and grumpy before, but he slowly but surely got SO MUCH better... I am SOOOOO proud of him, my baby DID IT!!!!! Ainsley too of course, her growth is AMAZING too and I am just.. I could not be happier. I am so so freaking proud of both of my babies! We always knew they both had so much work to do, but after having to face the best and worst parts of themselves and watching their love evolve from something unhealthy to something secure and stable.... it brings joy to my heart.. so much freaking joy to my heart!!

After so much heartache from the past two books, we are slowly putting our shattered hearts back together in Antidote, the emotional, deep, and raw conclusion to Killian and Ainsley's story. Things aren't easy, but through time they will get easier, and the love these two have for each other is never going anywhere. Ander and Killian were destined for each other and are soulmates through and through, they've been to rock bottom and back.... can they finally be each other's antidote to their addiction? I couldn't read this book fast enough, I was constantly, CONSTANTLY in shock and crying, both the sad tears and happy tears up. Every bit of it was worth it though to see these two go through the healing/recovery process in order to get their HEA.

Killian and Ainsley may not have had a typical love story or relationship, but what matters here that still genuine and real raw true love. They have both grew and evolved SIGNIFICANTLY into such healthier people that now they are truly TRULY ready to be together and NOTHING will get in their way. Two souls intertwined together for life and for the rest of eternity. Soulmates. True love will grow. It will adapt. But in the end it is still true.. true freaking love.

Alsoooo, loved seeing my baby Ander in here too!! Him and Kill.. ahh gotta love their relationship LOL. And finally, one little thing I want to put here.... I REALLY wish we got more from the ending. I am not complaining because I will never do such a thing when it comes to C.M. Radcliff... she is my queen for a reason. I just really hope we get another book down the road, or SOMETHING... because I just really NEED to know what happens AFTERWARDS. It finally felt like they were getting somewhere and then boom it ended, which made me really sad.. so I can only hope that somewhere down the road we get another book or series or SOMETHING. Oooo I would also love to see how he calls Ander and they hang out and stuff since he gave him his number. Definitely could use more of them too since I felt the same way with them... but yeah I am crossing my fingers for another book or something because I really felt like their story came to an abrupt stop before it could fully blossom if that makes sense. OH and Cartier! I hope we get a series on her too, I am so interested to see what all is going to happen with her and learn more about what. happened with her. Her story is so heartbreaking but she is so unique and strong that I am itching to know more about her! I need more on her for sure as well!!
Anyways C.M. Radcliff I LOVE YOU SOOOO MUCH AND I AM SO PROUD OF THIS MASTERPIECE YOU CREATED. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. GO READ THIS SERIES NOW! And the In Vein series and then when you are done with both, go read the rest of her books. :)

C.M. Radcliff what have you done to me?! You have taken me on a gut wrenching, tear inducing, devastatingly emotional roller coaster ride. That’s what you have done!! Antidote, the third and final book in the Dazed series, and the conclusion to Killian and Ainsley’s story finds Killian and Ainsley on a journey of soul searching, maturing and most importantly working on getting clean and sober.

While almost emotionally unbearable at times because we’ve had to come to terms with just how toxic one of our favorite couples truly are together. It seems like they just can’t seem to get the timing right to get it together. While one is doing okay, the other is still not on a good path and is a hazard to the other. It seems they can heal from their addictions to substances but what about their addictions to each other? Will they ever find a way to be healthy together? There is lots of growth on both sides that will need to happen for this to be possible.

What I love about this authors writing is she is able to bring you all the way down into the emotional depths of despair, the lowest points possible for our tragically flawed characters and have you entranced in every single heartbreaking second as you follow along on their bumpy road to the end where she puts the broken pieces of your heart back together like the literary craft master she is. The character growth in this book is phenomenal! I dont think a single attention to detail was left out. The struggles were so real and raw and cut deep. It was dark and wasn’t always pretty but that’s what made it real and relatable or at least very believable. I appreciate the authenticity of the author's attention to details.

Don’t miss out on the stunningly raw and gritty conclusion to Killian and Ainsley’s story.

must read

Reading the beginning of their story in Anesthetic and Inertia, the connection between Killian and Ainsley was undeniable. Toxic, wrong, heartbreaking, yet, their hearts always seemed to gravitate towards each other’s. Flashing a year after the ending of Inertia, Killian and Ainsley finally start work on themselves separately, processing, and with a clear mindset. Things seem to be going in the right direction. Until their real addiction shows back up, each other.

Through the ups and downs, the hard work and struggle of the choices they each make, getting to the other side of addiction seemed improbable. Giving in to the now, because you don’t believe you deserve a future or anything good in life makes it hard to grow any relationship. Staying in the toxic mindset and living in the past only drags you down and never lets go of the hold it has on you. Until you break the cycle. Killian starts to learn to love himself, and believes he deserves more than what he grew up in.

The constant fear and struggle of addiction lingers in the back of their minds. But they true power of recovery and all that comes from it, is their resistance and self restraint. It’s always going to be there and always going to be a battle. It’s never an easy subject to bring up, but people struggle with it everyday. Asking for help is never easy, especially if you don’t have a support system. Killian found a family without believing he deserved one. Ainsley found herself and they both started healing the wounds of their past together.

“That’s what led me to hate Ainsley. She had everything that I wanted when I was a kid. It was the life that I longed for and she was taking advantage of it. She took everything that she had for granted. But all of those thoughts were before I truly got to know her. You never know what is going on in someone else’s life behind closed doors until you’re behind that door too.”

“There’s no way that I can escape her. Even if things don’t ever work out with us in the future—especially after all of the bullshit that we’ve been through—there’s no one else for me. Ainsley was it for me. And I would spend the rest of my life loving her memory more than loving someone else, wishing that they were her. “

“You’re stronger than you give yourself credit for.” She waves me out of the car as she abruptly puts the car in drive. “Try being optimistic for once. Believe in yourself, because in the end, you’re all that you have.”

“If this is what Heaven is without you, I’d rather be in Hell with you. Hell is my home and you’re the fire that possesses my soul.”

Ainsley and Killian are in a bad accident, high on heroin, caught with drugs, one of them gets arrested and the other is taken to the hospital. A year later, they find themselves in the same treatment facility for addiction. The love they had for one another - can it survive?

————

The conclusion to this trio was set mainly in the treatment facility. Based on the prior books, Ainsley is addicted to any drug she can get her hands on to numb her pain. Killian is addicted to her, addicted to the one person he’d go to the edges of hell for just to save. But he can’t save her and them being together makes things worse.

The growth you see in Ainsley is fantastic. I love seeing Ainsley show some speckles of hope. She’s recovering and holding strong and she’s working so hard towards doing something with her life that doesn’t require a pill or a needle. She has a brighter aura. Killian is her cheerleader and support when she thinks no one is watching.

It’s bittersweet to leave their story, but I know that they’re going to be okay. It’s so satisfying reading about two characters you watched transform from book to book and see them succeed and grow in a way that you have confidence that every move they make, the other will be right beside them. I had butterflies by the end, and every time I think of Killian and Ainsley in the future, those butterflies will be back. When I say I’m in love with two characters, it’s K&A. Like, I should channel that love towards another human being, but nope. The pedestal is high and Killian and Ainsley reside there.

I want nothing more than to live in this universe a little longer, but the way it ended was perfect. This series has moved to one of my top favorite series that I’ve read. Whatever C.M. Radcliff writes in the future, I’m there. K&A - I’ll miss you, my babies.

Please, please, go out and read this series.

This book was the BEST in the series. I felt like I could finally breathe when reading it. Like, yea things have been really crazy between Killian and Ainsley but they are finally moving in the right direction. I loved the whole scene of where the story takes place. We hear about Better Daze in these books so often and now we finally have them HERE, and it was so good. I loved seeing them both stride for a better life while also not being able to stay away from each other. Because Ainsley is working there and Killian is a patient there, it almost became forbidden even though we all know they are soulmates and nothing would keep them away from each other.
I LOVED seeing some old faces, like Cartier and Ander. I am really hoping to see more of Cartier and seeing her story unfold. She has the most interesting story and uniqueness out of all of the side characters. She is such a spitfire I would love to see the type of guy she ends up with. And Ander, it was so good seeing his recovery from another perspective.
I loved all the secrecy between Killian and Ainsley, sneaking around and trying to not get caught. Their sex life is just..INTENSE. Because their love for one another is like a tsunami. They are both magnets to each other, nothing would keep them apart.
Then towards the end when they were both out of Better Daze....UGH SO FREAKING GOOD. I didnt know what would happen or where they would go from where they were. They needed space and time to heal alone and although it was hard because they have been at the hip for so long, it was MUCH needed. I loved Killian and Ainsley's growth during this series and this next book C.M Radcliff is coming out with is going to KNOCK US OFF OUR FEET. 5 FREAKING STARS!!!!!

“I’m the fucking villain in the story and she’s the ethereal angel that got tarnished by the devil.”

Most anticipated read of 2022! I knew eventually this series would come to an end, but I wasn’t ready, and I’m STILL not ready to let Killian and Ainsley go.

Antidote was an absolute rollercoaster of emotions. There was heartache, anger, happiness. And about a billion other feelings and emotions.

I wish we would’ve gotten a little more story having to do with the accident and what happens afterwards. Like in details – because what happens is definitely summed up.

“That’s what we are, baby. We’re fucking poison. I’m the toxin and you’re my antidote.”

Things have definitely changed for Killian and Ainsley, but I still love their relationship. Of course, they had to rebuild it, but I loved that – all their sneaking around and trying to figure out how to make it work. They’re still angst-filled and a steamy pair.

If you’ve read the In Vein series, you’ve already met Ander. He comes into play a little bit and I’m all for it. There’s some serious LOL moments between Killian and Ander. You get some of his story, too.

“At least we can say it was beautiful though, right?”
“A beautiful mess.”

I’m not going to lie or sugarcoat it – I wanted more from the ending. Don’t get me wrong, I’m okay with how it ends, but I wanted to know what happened AFTERWARDS.

I’m hoping we’ll get a novella down the road or a snippet of them in an anthology or something, please?

Antidote was an amazing story and I’m glad it’s finally here, but I’m really not ready to let this story go. The Dazed series was a beautifully written romance that shows Ainsley and Killian at the lowest of lows and the highest of highs. Dazed, and In Vein, are two series that are MUST reads.

FIVE STARS

“I’m the toxin and you’re my antidote.”

This is the last book in the trilogy and I’m so sad it’s over, but also happy because my favorites will finally catch a break with their HEA. This book had a time jump and I literally went into a panic because I thought the worst happened in the span of a year.

Ainsley finally decided to get sober and I couldn’t be more proud of her. After the time jump she has a stable job working at the rehab facility she attended and living at a group recovery home until she’s finally finished with recovery. She was back to her happy, free-spirit and wild self. Honestly, I was so relieved knowing she got to heal, the only thing missing seemed to be Killian. She still loved him though and wouldn’t stop worrying about him which tore at my heart a bit.

In the span of a year, Killian was sent to prison. My poor baby, he had to go through so much throughout all these books and could not catch a break. Once he was out from prison he was sent to a court ordered rehab which happened to be the one Ainsley worked at. I was waiting for a reunion if I’m being honest. Killian never had a drug addiction so he felt as if his time in rehab was useless but in reality, he got the help he needed as was able to heal, which was exactly what he needed.

These two honestly just keep me on my toes the entire time. Their sneaky rendezvous around the facility were so fun to read about because there was not a single time where I questioned if they still loved each other. They truly never stopped, everything they did was for each other even if it didn’t seem like it.

When they got caught my heart dropped because them apart is always unbearable but as always, eventually, they were brought back together, and my obsessed babies made it work. While there is nothing ever easy about these two, I was so happy they got to be with each other sober and happy.

This book was just as emotional as the rest, and I genuinely gained such an attachment to these characters its insane.

I love how well this book was written and how all the topics are handled correctly and not romanticized. They’re realistic and while the struggles shown have a happy outcome, you’re still aware it’s not always like that. This is an unconventional love story but still the love in this book was one hundred percent soulmated love. They burn brighter than any light when they’re together.

The ending of this book was perfect. I felt as if the author ended it in a perfect way. Killian and Ainsley are together and happy, which is something worth celebrating. It didn’t need an epilogue because realistically they will struggle but, in the end, they’ll be back.

Overall, the entire Dazed series has my heart and especially Antidote. I love Killian and Ainsley so much and I wont stop thinking about them for a long time. Before reading check tw’s but even if you don’t and go in blind, I hope you can love them as much as I do.

Antidote is the conclusion to Ainsley and Killian story. It was hands down the best ending to a series I have ever read!

Antidote picks up right where Inertia ends. Yes after that cliffhanger that left me for one with no words. I had to take a few days after finishing Antidote to collect my thoughts. It left me feeling so many emotions.

I don't think C.M. could of done a better job. She did these two beautiful characters justice. Yes Ainsley and Killian are toxic for eachother. Their story is anything but healthy. It's extremely messy but there is not another couple I was rooting for harder then I was for them.

Killian ahhh I wanted to reach through my kindle and just give him a hug. He fights hard but loves harder

Ainsley she surprised me so much. You get to see how much she has changed. Her growth wow!!!!!

Antidote was my most anticipated read of the year. I've been waiting for it since the last book. I was not at all disappointed. If anything I'm disappointed that I have to say goodbye to these characters. It's so hard to not love them. C.M. once agian did her homework. Her knowledge of this topic ...she knows what she's writing about. She blew me away with this story. Yes it's not your conventional love story. These characters are going through stuff and facing real life issues. But it was the best story I've ever read. I'm so excited for more from C.M. and can't wait to see what she comes out with next!

"I guess I'm just addicted to escaping reality. Among other things."

Once again C.M Radcliff broke my heart and she again shows teh darkside of beginning addict. It's not overwhelming romantic it's hard cause it's only a plaster for what you are trying to heal.

I really recommend you read the previous book because, we see how both Killian and Ainsley develope in character and why their story is inspiring love story. Remember love isn't always beautiful it can be dark toxic too and Cali wrote it beautifully by making the right balance of the two. This is why the book felt so relatable and so human ❤️

My heart broke and healed and when I read this quote it fit perfectly with the title of the book. I understood even more why the title is called Antidote and you need to read this book to even why...no spoilers

"That's what we are, baby. We're fucking poison. I'm the toxic and you're my antidote."

I also REALLY LOVE the community in Better Daze which is the half way house for recovering addicts. This made the trilogy more human because we are surrounded like them healing and Health professionals that truely want to help them to recover which is another happy ending for me personally ❤️

’m glad to see growth from our favorite toxic couple. Killian and Ainsley are soulmates none doubting that. If you can’t stay away from each other maybe it’s meant to be. I just wanted them to win, and not have to hide. It doesn’t seem like that could ever just really be them two. Without the threat of something coming between them. If wasn’t drugs, it was a job title or bars from jail for a time. It was always something or someone lurking in the shadows, forcing them to stay away from each other. Radcliff does an amazing job of describing what it’s like to be in your own head, and thoughts do not stop. The crippling anxiety and need get out what your mind will not let go of. Then it’s the will to talk to others, but you don’t want to and does not help. Even though talking to the right people can have a good affect, we still shy away with our negative thoughts. Sometimes the negative thoughts are our comfort and best friend. Letting go seems like a death we don’t want to end. Killian and Ainsley are a moth to flame and I’m glad they finally got their HEA. It was a wild ride of addiction and chaos, but there is always light at the end of the dark cave.

Following the stories of these beautifully flawed characters has been an experience.  I have experienced their highest highs and their lowest lows. I have felt their heartbreak and their love and all I can say is that I've never seen a soul match burn so bright.

"I never thought I deserved to have one. Now, when I think of the future, I know what I want it to be. I want it to be you. You are all that I see, Ainsley.”

OH MY KILLIAN!!!
Antidote picks up right up the devastating end of Inertia, Killian and Ainsley have suffered through so much together and we finally get to see them grow from that. Watching Killian and Ainsley grow from their toxic relationship to a healthy place has given me all the feels. I cried so hard for all their hardships and in the end their love still won!

Radcliff has managed to capture the essence of addiction, the destruction, the pain, the heartbreak and she has managed to once again show that there is life after addiction, her writing of these stories are not only important but she manages to do it so perfectly that we root for these characters.

We are coming to a end with with Ainsley and Killian’s story and boy what a wild ride it was. These 3 books will have you yelling at both characters and have you rooting for them at the same time. Addiction is never a easy thing to come out of and these two have a toxic addiction to each other. Now we are entering the 3rd book after the car crash. Ainsley going through recovery then going to rehab after she is released. Things are looking up for her she is clean and working Better Daze. Killian has been in jail for the last year and is to be released upon going to a treatment center as well both clean and sober it just so happens to be the same center Ainsley is currently going to and working at now. Can both these characters move past their toxic ways to find true happiness? I loved how neither of them gave into their demons and finally left the drugs behind. It has been quite a journey with these two and the ending did not disappoint and C.M. has another emotionally epic trilogy under her belt.

Having read Anesthetic and Inertia i couldn't wait for more! I started counting down the days until i could dive back into this series. I picked up this third book as soon as i could and got back into the Dazed world! I so enjoyed it!

Killian and Ainsley's journey continues! After book two, i wasn't sure what all was going to happen next with these two. I couldn't wait to see how they'd tackle things in their lives.

This journey has been far from easy for these two characters. The realness that poured throughout all three installments from both of them truly got to me. I've felt such a range of emotions with both Killian and Ainsley every time. I was so glad to get more of these two!

With Antidote, Ms.Radcliff has created a great and dark journey that made me feel so dang much! The Dazed books put my heart through every single bit. I said it with the first two books and i'll say it again, In her writing she brings a realness that packs such a memorable punch. I can't wait for more from her!

The final book in the store of Killian and Ainsley.

*spoilers below*

When we last saw Killian and Ainsley, Killian had taken Ainsley back to her Mom. She needed help for her addiction and he knew that he was not the one that could help her, he was no good for her and she deserved better. He lied to her. Let her believe he didn't care. Truth was, he loved her enough to let her go. Book two ends with them in a car accident and book three picks up from there.

This books takes us on all the highs and lows of Killian and Ainsley. A year after the accident, and a year without Ainsley, Killian ends up at the same rehab facility of the girl that haunts his dreams. Their pull is undeniable, yet they fight it every step of the way. Their judgment is clouded by their pull to each other and it's all wrong. There is too much at stake, they both could lose everything they've gained up until this point.

It's a somber reality for both of them and the struggles of overcoming addiction, and each other, are so overwhelming. I loved this story of their recovery, from drugs, from each other... it's beautiful.

The final installment in this story of two lovers dependent on each other and their toxic romance is here. This begins right after the jolting cliffhanger from Inertia. Will Killian finally be able to break free from Ainsley enough for both to get clean and stay that way or will they always pull each other down the wrong direction? Can he sacrifice his own freedom for the one he cares for? If you’ve read the In Vein Series this book comes full circle, finally having Killian at the Better Daze Rehab, yup same as Ander, where we first caught a glimpse of him. I always feel sorry for Killian feeling everything is his fault when he was always her salvation. I just love him so much! This was a little slower for me to read in the beginning as it takes place within the rehab and it’s day by day living but it is a vital part for completion of their journey. Can this unique treatment facility make them finally be able to live again…and together? Told in dual POV

This whole series is INCREDIBLE, and this last book will blow your mind!

Antidote is book #3 in the Dazed series. I can't put into words my love of this series!

This whole series had my emotions all over the place. My husband has struggled with addiction. He had surgery on his hand when he broke it, got addicted to the pain pills and when that wasn't enough moved onto heroin. He has been clean and sober 6 years this year, but it's a constant fight. I am so proud of him. And the way CM wrote this series, and the addiction aspect is so spot on. The struggles Killian and Ainsley have to face, I have no words.

I am so in love with these characters. I have no words to describe how amazing this series is and Antidote is the perfect conclusion to their story. The way these characters have grown, it had me wanting to cry.

CM will always be a one click author for me. Go READ THIS series if you haven't, it's so worth the read!!

What a beautiful and insanely emotional conclusion to Killian and Ainsley’s toxic and tumultuous love story.

My emotions were all over the place with these two. They had me laughing, crying and just hoping that there was a happy ever after for them. Their journey of healing, overcoming addiction and finding love was gritty, raw and emotionally intense. But it was truly beautiful to see how far they both have come and that their love could survive through the pain, anger and toxicity of their lives.

“There’s no happy ending to a story like ours if we aren’t willing to change. We will only drag each other back down…”

“…If this is what Heaven is without you, I’d rather be in Hell with you. Hell is my home and you’re the fire that possesses my soul.”

Beautifully written ending to what has been one hell of an emotional journey for two characters who will forever have a place in my heart.
