Blue Marguerite is book four in The Painted Daisies series by L.J. Evans. Wow! Every book in this series has completely blown my mind. Each better than the last. This one is no exception. It is Adria’s book. Each of the books in this series can technically be read as a stand alone. Each is about a different couple and has it’s own HEA. BUT, all of the books also revolve around a shared mystery that ties them together. So in my opinion, you would enjoy the series more if you started at the beginning and get to know each of the amazing women in The Painted Daisies and the men who they fall in love with.
Adria Rojas is the drummer in The Painted Daisies. Living by the beat of her drums is what keeps Adria sane. It keeps her centered. Especially this last year. With the murder of their band mate, and everything her other band mates have been through, it’s a wonder she sleeps at all. Especially the fact that the last man she ever wants to see again, Ronan, is making a documentary about their rock band and is around all the time.
Ronan Hawk was recently made president of Ravaged Storm Productions. He has so many projects he needs to get started on. But he needs to finish the documentary on The Daisies. There is one interview he hasn’t been able to get yet, Adria’s. Because she refuses to give it to him.
Ronan and Adria have a past. One I don’t want to tell you about but want you to discover on your own. I would call this a second chance, enemies to lovers romance. Because in Adria’s mind, they are enemies.

There are so many secrets revealed as we follow Ronan and Adria on their journey. Once again, L.J. Evans builds and builds while keeping us on the edge of our seats trying to figure out what is happening. But there is one thing I was sure of throughout the book. And that was that these two were made for each other. That they needed each other. They had so much they needed to conquer before they could get to their own HEA and what a wild ride it was.
We have one more book to go in this series, the grand finale, Royal Haze, which will be Nikki’s book. I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited to see how this was all going to end. This is such a fantastic series, and the final book will be here before you know it. So I hope you’ll jump in now and meet these wonderful women of The Painted Daisies.

This series just keeps getting better as it goes. It’s a slow burn that has you on the edge of your seat. I’m already counting down the days until the next one. This is a fantastic second chance, frenemy book. My heart was with Ronan from the start. I was frustrated with Adria for taking so long to get on board. So many questions were answered, but even more of them came to light. Every time I get a theory it gets discredited.
I recommend this book and series a thousand percent.

The pull of the suspense lingering through these books grabs you from the beginning and has you eagerly turning the pages. These characters are imprinted on your soul and you feel the emotional toll as they do. Definitely recommend this one

I was putting off the start of this this book a few days now, because I knew it would put me through the ringer. I'm not sure how I feel about it after I read THE END so here it goes:
Time has come for Adria and Ronan second chance to unwind. These two and their relationship was like a windmill. Just as we get to a point where you think, OMG finally they'll fall back into each other arms, something happens that pushes them further apart yet again. The whole plot for this book was amazing and I was glued to it from start to finish, hungry to see if these two crosstar lovers will get the HEA after everything that happened to them.
Their story was heartbreaking, overwhelming at times, but at the end of the day they were meant for each other and love that strong will stand the test of time. And after reading THE END I was left with a silly smile on my face because I know all that happened to them since book 1, was worth it in the end.

I love a hero that knows what he wants and it’s patient and unwavering as he pursues it. Ronan was an easy to love character who was protective but not domineering. Adria had to work through things related to her upbringing, issues related to her sister, and her friend’s murder before really being able to open herself to a relationship with Ronan. In this book we begin to see the overall murder mystery begin to unravel…lots of questions were answered as new questions and theories emerged. There were also a few plot twists I didn’t see coming! It amazes me how LJ Evans has been able to weave the murder mystery through each book while creating another mystery in each book. I’ll be not so patiently waiting for Royal Haze on July 12!

That is one suspense filled read. And let’s just say Adria is one stubborn women but she met her match with Ronan. I was expecting some but wow. Out of the park! Awesome read.

This series just keeps getting better and better. Blue Marguerite tells Adria and Ronan’s story and is a slow-burn, second chance, romantic suspense book. Call it a clash of artistic temperament or a miscommunication of epic proportions, but the rift between the two main characters has grown wider and wider throughout the series and it takes a shocking revelation about Adria’s sister’s kidnapping to force them together.
Ronan’s journey from trying to forget about Adria and move on to trying to be there for her no matter what was fantastic. He really understands why she is the way she is and accepts that.
Once again, the music at the beginning of each chapter really reinforces and enhances the story. Grab the Spotify playlist from the beginning of the book and listen to each song as you get to it in the story.
This can absolutely be read as a standalone book, but I would highly recommend reading the series in order to fully comprehend the series story arcs and give you more depth into the characters backstories. This is a complete read with a HEA epilogue… no cliffhangers though you will have to read the final book in the series to learn the truth about who was responsible for Landry’s death.

From the first book in this series, Sweet Memory, it’s clear that something has happened in the past between Ronan and Adria. We find out early in Blue Marguerite what happened and why Adria considers them enemies, but Ronan is looking for a second chance. Can misunderstanding and miscommunication end with a second chance?
Adria is the dark-haired former beauty queen who plays drums with the Painted Daisies. She puts her heart and soul into her playing, beating out the rhythm that comes out fiery and honest. She has open animosity towards Ronan and refuses to let him interview her for the documentary he is doing about the band. When her best friend and bandmate Landry Kim was murdered 2 years ago, the band drifted apart in their grief. When her younger sister was kidnapped soon after, Adria retreated into herself until her mother took her back to her home country of Columbia. When the band got back together, she split her time between touring and going back to Columbia to help her mother run pageants and mentor young contestants.
Ronan is a filmmaker following the band, recording a documentary of their journey, strength, and love for music and each other. When Landry was murdered and the band drifted about, Ronan made a few movies with his father. In the meantime, Asher Riggs (who we met in Sweet Memory and is the MMC in Green Jewel), hires him to run his movie studio, Ronan knows he needs to finish the documentary and leave the tour, but he can’t until Adria agrees to meet with him.
When Adria starts to receive threats against her father’s company in Columbia and against her family, she’s desperate to find out who is behind them. Ronan refuses to leave her side until she is out of danger. When she finally finds out who is behind the threats, she feels disbelief and betrayal and is torn about what the right thing to do is. Through all of it, Ronan is there offering love and support. Adria finds it harder and harder to push him away as she struggles with her feelings. Hers is a journey of discovery of herself and her ability to love. Ronan has to overcome his guilt for the past and have the patience to wait for Adria to come to him on her own.
This is the fourth book in the Painted Daisies series, and each book keeps getting better and better. Again, LJ Evans has taken through relationships and finding love and strength together. She’s woven more clues to the mystery of who killed Landry while at the same time drawing us into the threats against Adria and her family. I highly recommend you read the first 3 books before diving into Blue Marguerite, although it can be read as a stand-alone. This is a 5-star read and I recommend this, and the rest of the series be on your summer reading list!

Ok, I've been waiting for Ronan and Adria's story since Ms. Evans gave us the teaser at the end of Cherry Brandy. Leave it to Ms. Evans to deliver a book that leaves you in awe, your head spinning and your emotions all over the place. I am a huge fan of second chance romances and add in suspense and twists and turns at the turn of every age and you have a best seller. The storyline is captivating, impossible to put down and will pull on your heartstrings.
Ronan and Adria have been skirting around their feelings for one another for a few years but with the death of Landry and her sister being kidnapped their time together stopped but did their feelings? Two years later and Ronan is still madly in love with Adria but she is fighting it. She has so many reasons to have walls up around her, especially her heart. Are the nightmares just that or are they real? What about the people that are supposed to love her? When danger presents itself to Adria how will she deal with it? Here is where Ronan's true character comes out. He seemed like he was just a man in love but now he is all alpha male, protective as hell and will not let her out of his sight. When the truth comes out in regards to who is behind all the threats and danger, Adria's life shatters and Ronan is there be be the one to piece it back together.
The two of them go through so much character growth throughout the book. Adria becomes stronger and a person that accepts the love that she deserves from Ronan. We see Ronan, a man that has had to deal with a lot of guilt, now he is the most loving and patient person. Adria is his life and will do everything he can to prove it to her.
As you read this book, Ms. Evans gives us more clues as to who is behind Landry's murder. I thought I had an idea but it changed as I read this book Now with the little hints given, my mind is swimming with ideas. The ending of this book had my head spinning even more than in book three. I honestly cannot wait to see what she has in store for us in the last book in this series.
Did this book pull on my heartstrings? Yes. Did I want to give Adria a shake and tell her that the man in front of her is the best thing that has happened to her? Yes. Did I yell at my device a couple of times? Yes. Do I highly recommend grabbing this series? Most definitely. This is one series that I will be reading over and over because it is so addictive.

LJ Evans has knocked it out the park again with another brilliant instalment in her Painted Daisies series. This time with Blue Marguerite which is Adria and Ronan’s story. If you haven’t picked this series up yet -you absolutely must- because you’re missing out on one of the most consistently fabulous series of books written by this wonderful Author. Every single book feels different and captures us from the first page till the last. We can’t shout loud enough: PICK THIS SERIES UP! There’s one book left at the time of this review, which release in mere weeks, when it’s the final member of The Painted Daisies turn to find her happy ever after, and for us to find out just who killed Landry in book one. This is a series we’d definitely want in paperback on our bookshelf of love!

We have loved Adria and Ronan throughout this series and fell in love with their love story. Two very different personalities that complete each other. Soulmates. It was beautiful, angsty, evocative, horrific, emotional, and steamy! How talented of a writer is LJ Evans to never have any repetitiveness nor any moments at all across a series of four books so far where the story stalls or loses its momentum. Just fabulous!

LJ Evans certainly has a knack for slow burn, enemies to lovers, second chance romantic suspense. This is how it’s done! We cannot throw enough accolades at this Author for her writing, her story telling, her characters and the way she still has us riveted four books later. Sure, we have our favourite couple, however we truly love them all and we can say with certainty that each book just gets better and better. We have so many theories and predictions, let’s see if we’re right when Royal Haze lands on our kindles.

This was one epic second chance romance. Adria's soul knows that Ronan is her match but she cannot let herself fall in love and tries to contain the overwhelming feels by making it about meaningless occasional sex. Ronan is nothing if persistent. He has a reputation but it's not true because his heart is focused on Adria only. He is spending a lot of time with the band for making the documentary but that's just one of the excuse. He has become attached to the band too. He suffered trauma and got in danger herself and his alpha protective side cannot rest till Adria is safe. Not that she is a damsel in distress. She is fierce. Headstrong. Sassy. Stubborn to the level of martyrdom. But every bada&& needs a safe space to break down. She pushed Ronan away from fear, from insecurities, from vulnerability but Ronan refused to back down. Together they had a rocky journey. Kidnapping. Bombing. Shooting. Terrorist groups and betrayal from family. We are so close to the truth about Landry's murder too as the author is placing all the pieces together. I think the common theme of this series that absolutely blew my mind away is heroines who fight their own battles and slay their own demons and heroes who are not here to rescue them.. but to be their partners. Ronan is possessive and protective and sinfully bossy in bed but his deep respect and utter adoration for Adria is the sexiest quality he has. Adria is his world and he proved it again and again and my heart is a goner.

He suffered trauma and got in danger herself and his alpha protective side cannot rest till Adria is safe. Not that she is a damsel in distress. She is fierce. Headstrong. Sassy. Stubborn to the level of martyrdom. But every bada&& needs a safe space to break down. She pushed Ronan away from fear, from insecurities, from vulnerability but Ronan refused to back down. Together they had a rocky journey. Kidnapping. Bombing. Shooting. Terrorist groups and betrayal from family. We are so close to the truth about Landry's murder too as the author is placing all the pieces together. I think the common theme of this series that absolutely blew my mind away is heroines who fight their own battles and slay their own demons and heroes who are not here to rescue them.. but to be their partners. Ronan is possessive and protective and sinfully bossy in bed but his deep respect and utter adoration for Adria is the sexiest quality he has. Adria is his world and he proved it again and again and my heart is a goner.

Blue Marguerite might be my favorite of LJ Evans entire Painted Daisies series!!
Adria and Ronan are an incredible example of a second chance enemies to lovers romance, combining two of my favorite tropes along with the romantic suspense component, there were times it was seriously hard to catch my breath!
Ronan Hawk, Hollywood Royalty, in love with Adria Rojas did that thing most men do when they're so in love that they are assured of their success and won't listen to reason. He handed Adria a key and an NDA, all at the same time they were getting ready to have some serious smexy times, and then couldn't figure out why she turned ice cold.
Adria, a girl who's watched her parents live in two separate countries and who has decided because of this she won't ever be beholden to a man, decides right then and there that the only thing Ronan wants is to keep her under lock and key - solidly in one place. After that she doesnt here anything he says, except the taunts of an angry boy as they both regress to being basically teenagers.
When, years after all this pain, Ronan comes to her with very important information about her family and the danger surrounding the Daisies Adria can't decide whether to trust him or not - whether to even let him in a millimeter or not! Until a very real bomb forces them back into each other's arms, and might force Adria to tell the truth about whats really going on.
But the suspense is SO HEIGHTENED this time y'all!! Between the CIA and FBI, and Angel seemingly able to either have all the information or find exactly who theyre looking for, Adria and Ronan are in more danger than ever before. And somehow Nikki is involved as well?
I'd love to tell you more, but i dont want to hand out spoilers like theyre candy, you HAVE to read this one for yourself to find all the little pieces you need to know. And we STILL dont have all the answers about Landry, its enough to make me just a little bit crazy and want to yell at LJ Evans A LOT. But I'll be patient because the end is almost here, and i think it is going to blow our minds!!

The Ultimate, Penultimate Story
Anyone not reading The Painted Daisies by LJ Evans is most definitely missing out. I am 100% invested in this series. I need it. It's the perfect blend of romantic suspense, contemporary romance, and rockstar/ celebrity romance. The right amount and type of angst. All of it. I love the premise, the characters, the language. And Evans brings the perfect blend of soul mates and suspense, second chances and celebrities in book 4, Blue Marguerite—the ultimate, penultimate story.
Adria and Ronan’s story blooms and explodes on the pages, riding multiple layers of suspense, intrigue, love, loss, and lust while bridging and bringing together multiple layers of the characters and their stories. The puzzle pieces are starting to fall into place, and watching Adria and Ronan find themselves, their purpose, and the passion for each other through it is intense and stunning.
Beyond being a beautifully developed story, the characters within the tale are deeply developed as well. Evans always does an extraordinary job of painting a full picture with expressive language and detail oriented scene setting, but the way she builds her characters as they navigate misunderstandings, barriers, internal and external conflicts travels beyond just the two lovers. Her supporting characters are vibrant elements of their relationship, both intentionally and unintentionally, through their actions, words, and thoughts. And witnessing them embrace and accept their destined HEA, their devotion and depth as soulmates is all the more wonderful because of it.
With one book left to go in the series, the stage is perfectly set for a gripping love story leading to one final HEA. Evans has also sown the seeds for an emotional finale to the chaos and heartache, but also the solidarity and companionship the Daisies and their loved ones have not only endured, but embraced along their journey.

The Player Prince and the Beauty Queen.
Adria is also the badass rock star that hides behind a smile and a wink.
There is so much more to Ronan and Adria that others don’t see. But they see each other whether they want the them to or not.
Ronan and Adria have history. After being in the dark for most of the series its finally revealed that they are a couple who have made a lot of mistakes in the past that wounded each other. The hurt and anger and the fight from Adria to push him away is palpable.
I loved Ronan. He has had a steady presence through the series and I feel he has always had a great care for all the Daisies. His past with Adria taints him in so many eyes; many forgetting what he went through with Paisley and the scars that left behind.
He made mistakes in his relationship with Adria in the past; not through arrogance but a desire to have Adria in his life more permanently and a healthy dose of youthful naivety. But he tries valiantly to make amends for those mistakes and rebuild her trust in him which sometimes costs him dearly.
LJ Evans pushes Adria a lot in this story, challenging everything Adria thought she knew about herself, love, her family and Ronan. She possesses a quiet strength that helps her endue so much.
Adria has a family dynamic that’s left her adrift and alone for a long time. Instead of avoiding echoing her parents’ marriage, she ends up repeating it in so many ways with Ronan. I love how Ronan challenges Adria to see that she is capable of all consuming love and that they could make a relationship work.
More clues are revealed through Blue Marguerite as to the mystery surrounding Landry’s murder. While it’s wonderful that LJ Evans is dropping more breadcrumbs for readers, it’s a sad reminder that this series is rapidly coming to a conclusion. I continue to be in awe of the way LJ Evans has woven all of these suspense plots together in this marvellous series.

Blue Marguerite (The Painted Daisies #4) by L.J. Evans is a contemporary second-chance enemies-to-lovers rockstar romantic suspense told in third person dual POV. It’s the fourth book of a series where each book will have a complete suspense plot and an HEA. There’s also a mystery that spans the entire series, so it’s best to read in order, starting with book one.

follows the relationship between Adria Rojas, drummer for The Painted Daisies, and Ronan Hawk, a filmmaker and producer.
It’s been a tough couple of years for Adria. Ronan (the guy she was secretly seeing) humiliated her and they broke up; Landry (her friend and bandmate) was murdered; and Tatiana (her younger sister) was kidnapped. And if that wasn’t bad enough, Ronan has been filming a documentary about The Painted Daisies, so he’s always around. Luckily, Adria has become a master at avoiding him. But when Ronan uncovers some new information about her sister, she’ll have to team up with him to follow the lead because, ironically, he just might be the only one she can trust.
I loved Adria and Ronan’s story! Both were likable, well-developed, and relatable characters. I loved learning about their secret relationship and finding out what happened between them to make Adria upset enough to spend years avoiding Ronan. I enjoyed seeing their relationship progress as they spent time together investigating her sister’s disappearance.
Like all the previous books in this series, Blue Marguerite is full of mystery, action, suspense, and surprises. Some questions were answered, and others remain a mystery, but we’re getting closer to finding out what really happened at Swan River Pond when Landry was murdered. I can’t wait to read Royal Haze and finally get all the answers.

Blue Marguerite is book 4 of 5 in The Painted Daisies series by LJ Evans and continues the intense journey of these 5 female band members who seem to keep finding themselves in harm's way. While any of these books can be read as a Stand alone, you really should read them all from start to finish to fully understand the entire back story.
In this one, we meet the drummer Adria Rojas, daughter of one of the richest men in Columbia who seems to always be targeted by guerrilla militia groups that want him and his family removed. But no one realized the threats were coming from this close to home! Adria has had an on and off thing with Ronan Hawk, movie director and the same guy currently following the Daisies around to make a documentary about them. While Adria and Ronan clearly have a connection, Ronan made a mistake years ago that created a colossal wave between them both.
An intense journey ensues where Adria and Ronan are tangled further in the mystery of who killed their bandmate Landry, who is after Adria and her father and can they escape with their lives. I thought the first half felt a little slower in this one than I had gotten used to in this series, but I was blown away by the second half! Once all the pieces in the story get laid out it takes off really quickly from there. What I always love about Evans' characters is how beautifully flawed they are and how well they come back together by complimenting those journeys of self realization.

The Painted Daisies series is coming to an end yet there are still many unanswered questions. In Blue Marguerite we finally find out what all of the animosity between Ronan Hawk and Adria Rojas was about and yes the animosity was well deserved and goes both ways. Adria is talented, beautiful and was raised in wealth by her parents even though they lived in separate countries for the majority of her life. She has been devastated by the disappearance of her younger sister for the past two years and that came on the collapse of her secret relationship with Ronan and the murder of her friend and bandmate Landry Kim. Ronan has been chasing after Adria for the past 3 1/2 years. He also had a privileged childhood raised as the only son of a Hollywood golden couple. Ronan is not accustomed to the word "No" and he did not take the breakup with Adria well. These two are a tough couple to love so they need to work their way back to each other because I am not sure that anyone else will have the patience for either of them! Add to this Adria finally gets word about her sister and is shocked to find out what really happened 2 years ago. Blue Marguerite has a lot of angst and a lot of surprises. It was a good addition to the series and must be read in order to continue the journey of who killed Landry Kim. It was a slow burn, second chance and it needed to be in order to resolve all of the angst and bitterness of the past 3 1/2 years. It was told from dual POV as all the other books in the series have been and left me counting the days until Royal Haze is released.

Each episode of the Painted Daisies series just get more and more exciting! There is so much action, and answers we've been dying to have, while not concluded, are getting closer. It seems that the closer we get to answering the BIG question, the more questions I have!
The romance of Blue Marguerite is called a Second Chance romance, but its both Second Chance (for Ronan, and Enemies to Lovers (for Adria). And that just adds to the depth of the story. If you've been reading the series in order (and you should!), we only have a glimpse of coming into the story, that suggests enemies to lovers, but as we spend time with Ronan, we see that for him its his Second Chance to make things right. Add in the influence of a dysfunctional family on one side, and a picture of love on the other and these 2 are definitely coming in with different perspectives. One of my favorite features of stories is watching flawed characters grow... they make mistakes along the way, then they learn and mature. Both Ronan and Adria grow, and learn to consider other possibilities, forgiveness, and what love really looks like.
Now, bring on Royal Haze and the answers we've been craving!! Nikki's story is next!

In this book we obviously get more from the main characters and I am so glad because I feel that up until this point a lot of readers have probably been misunderstood Ronan’s character and in the story arc most of the Daisies have disliked him for reasons we did not understand. Ronan is loyal, loves with fierceness and has his own insecurities.
We know some of Adria’s back story, she did the beauty pageant circuit when she was younger, her parents have lived in different countries for years and her sister was kidnapped early on in the books.

I’m loving The Painted Daisies Series by L.J. Evans! With each book the action intensifies and recent threats made against the band’s drummer and her family, Blue Marguerite ups the suspense doubly so along with the addition of more clues to Landry Kim’s still unsolved murder from two years ago.
Each book in this series features a different couple who find their happily-ever-after and can be read as a standalone. But I highly recommend reading the entire series.
There’s a long and complicated history between Ronan Hawk and Adria Rojas. Their chemistry is off-the-charts hot and sizzling. Adria, a former Columbian beauty queen and now the drummer for The Painted Daisies and Ronan is the president of Ravaged Storm Productions and filmmaker who is documenting the band’s journey to success. Adria is sharp-tongued and often hatefully direct in her dialogue. But this seems to spur Ronan on in his efforts to draw her closer. Their back history explains a lot (but I’m not going to be a “spoiler” – you’re on your own in getting this info).
The final installment – Royal Haze – will arrive on July 12, 2023. I can hardly wait for the wrap-up with all the questions answered and the dangling ends tied up neatly. From the beginning, this series has been a wild ride with all the emotions attached. I’m expecting nothing less from the band’s lead guitarist Nikki Rani’s story.

Blue Marguerite is the fourth book in the Painted Daisies series by L.J. Evans, featuring Adria and Ronan’s emotional and steamy second chance romance. I’ll admit I wasn’t a fan of Ronan in the previous books, but as more of the backstory was revealed to explain things, I really grew to love him. I loved the evolution of Adria and Ronan’s relationship and the fiery passion between them. The emotions explored in this book left me feeling like I’d been through the wringer with them! So much heartache, drama, angst, suspense, action, and twists— and that’s just the secondary suspense plot confined to this book!😂 I was able to answer some questions about the original mystery, but now I have even more!! The way LJ Evans has been able to weave multiple intricate suspense storylines through each book, while maintaining such superb world building and character development is mind blowing!! Reading this series has been an absolute blast, because it’s almost felt interactive, as readers try to find clues and join the spoiler group to discuss! I cannot wait for the final book, Royal Haze!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Blue Marguerite is a story that sizzles from the opening pages until the very end. It is chock full of action, suspense, and unexpected twists that had me staying up late and waking up early. I couldn't put this book down!
Ronan and Adria have an attraction for each other, which neither can shake. He knows they have something special and wants to make it last. She knows they have something special, and she is certain that there is no way it can last. One night and several mistakes later, these two secret lovers become enemies.
Fast forward several years to a time when unimaginable circumstances force these two to survive life- altering conditions. The suspense and intrigue literally had my heart racing and my mind reeling. Love and loyalty are tested on so many levels and in so many ways. Secrets are kept and revealed, creating chaos and upending the lives of those involved.
LJ Evans deftly weaves romance, suspense, and mystery into a novel that had me cheering, crying in frustrated fear, sighing at the sweetest moments, and forming theories about the big mystery that has yet to be solved regarding Landry Kim. I am absolutely ready for the final book in this Painted Daisies series. I have loved each of the band members' stories. However, I have a feeling the best one is yet to come. I have a feeling Nikki's story is going to rock my world.

LJ Evans deftly weaves romance, suspense, and mystery into a novel that had me cheering, crying in frustrated fear, sighing at the sweetest moments, and forming theories about the big mystery that has yet to be solved regarding Landry Kim. I am absolutely ready for the final book in this Painted Daisies series. I have loved each of the band members' stories. However, I have a feeling the best one is yet to come. I have a feeling Nikki's story is going to rock my world.

At this point I insist that reading the first three books in the series is a must before you pick this one up, to fully understand the plot.
I’m going to write what this book made me feel. First of all I never disliked Ronan the way some other readers did, there’s a scene in Sweet Memory where he’s looking at a video of Landry right after she was murdered and he’s crying, he says to Paisley:
„She was building the mountain so you could stand on top and shout to the world from its heights.”
That’s the person I knew him to be, a good man, that’s able to grief, see beyond the image other want to show you. We were left to believe he's a calloused Hollywood prince with his own gain in mind, when in fact he’s just a man trying to fight for his love.
It’s hard to review the book from only a romantic aspect, this entire series is different the authors usual still. The story is on the slow burn side, they spend most of the book avoiding danger that comes Adria's way. Her family was in danger from her father's business, her sister it’s missing for two years already, her friends all had bad things happen to them, so I’m not surprised she’s so hardened toward Ronan. They had a past and while I understand her stance on „hating” him I also think she’s overreacting because he means to much for her. Some might disagree with me, but I feel that after everything she should have just sit down with him and have it out.
„Our love is freedom, not a cage.”
I loved the way Ronan stood his ground and didn’t give up on them, he showed her that her fears were inutile. I’m not sure why, but from the series I loved this book most, the entire time it was like a movie playing out in front of my eyes, that’s how I know a book will stay with me for a long time.
Adria like the other Daisies had my heart hurt for her, they all carry this hidden guilt about Landry’s death, they all think they’re not enough and the band could go on without them. I hope by the end of the series these amazing ladies will finally open up to each other, trust for them to carry a burden together and let the friendship being reciprocated. They all love each other so much; they need to understand that sharing a problem is not a burden is a blessing. They need to trust that when one falls the others will be there to catch her.

I had some of my questions answered about the danger surrounding them, not all of them, but the pieces of information are starting to finally fit together. Some of this surprised me, my theories were not spot on, but it made me happy, nothing better than being surprised by the plot.

Ms. Evans has done it again! Based on the previous books, you go into this book not sure about whether the characters are worth it, specifically our hero here. But, as any good writer will do, Ms. Evans has nailed the inner workings of each character! You catch glimpses of the good in Rowan in the previous books despite wanting to hate him from some unknown event that has put him on Adria’s despise list. But once you start reading, and know what was going through his head, knowing that his intentions were still good, and also realizing Adria has flaws as well, the characters win you over. Rowan and Adria fit perfectly, especially once they get over themselves. I absolutely love the mystery of the Adria’s sister and her story, along with the revelations that sometimes you don’t know what exactly has been going on even though you had lived it. (To understand, you absolutely must read this book!) The deepening clues for Landry’s death and the over all mystery of who done it still keeps you in suspense, making you want to come back for more! Adria and Rowan are perfect! I cannot wait for the next book!

This series just keeps getting better and better. As with the other books, we have a mini suspense solved but we are all wanting to know who killed Landry. Angel is intriguing me…I think he’s good but there is definite mystery surrounding him. I loved LJ’s reference to Colombia - food, language, culture as my husbands family is from there.
Adria is a spitfire and has been through so much in the last several years. Her sister is missing which has caused a lot of stress in the family. The things she faces, experiences and has to process during this story is a lot. But, LJ handles each situation with grace and gives us a sweet, tender and loving story that helps us understand Adria better.
Ronan is tough, smexy and determined. He’s trying very hard to remain professional but Adria is challenging him every step of the way . I’m so glad he is there to help her work through all the emotions/issues she’s trying to process.
This is a really wonderful, faced paced, suspenseful love story that will have your heart beating until the last page. I do not want this series to end but I’m so looking forward to the conclusion.

Adria’s story… might just be my favorite.. but I have to say that LJ Evens makes me feel this way with every single book she writes.
This series… is an amazing one. I’m so I love with it. It’s full of drama, intrigue, mystery.. but it;s also a story of Adria and Ronan.. and it’s…. Just one that will leave you speechless.
Each book has been better and better, and LJ Evans, who doesn’t need to prove anything.. proves that she can write everything. This author.. she’s a very favorite of mine. She proves, with every book, that she is an exceptional writer with instincts that are innate, not learned. I am a very huge fan of LJ Evans, and I always will be. She is in my top 5 authors. I read a LOT, so having a top 5… is a big deal.

Blue Marguerite is the most intense and suspense filled book of the Painted Daisies series so far! It gripped me from the prologue and I know it won't let me go for a long, long time! The love and pain these characters go through make their HEA so amazingly beautiful.
I love that we finally get a look into Ronan and Adria's past. An unfortunate misunderstanding and poor reactions throw their love off course, but they more than make up for it. They both grow and help one another heal. There is so much that goes on in this book involving Adria's family that absolutely broke my heart. Ronan shows her that he will always be there for her and she finally figures out that she does know how to love in an all consuming way. These two go through the wringer (and so will your heart) but it is so worth it! I just knew these two were meant to be together!
I can't wait for the last book in this wild ride of a series!
