Desperate and out of options, she reaches out to Alexis, the one person who knows Zoey was duped like everyone else.

Liam Graham is an FBI special agent and instructor at Riverbend K-9 Academy. When Alexis brings in a new recruit with an unusual background, Liam pairs her up with Tasha, a dog in need of a handler to stay in their competitive program. And Zoey may be the key to solving it.

Zoey offers to go back to Future State to help the FBI end things once and for all. Only this time, she’ll have Liam and Tasha for backup. But, the problems at Future State are more explosive than any of them suspect.

4☆ A Cosy Mystery with an adorable K-9 twist.

As soon as I see this book featured dogs and a good mystery I couldn't wait to read A Nose For Mischief.
I listened to an audio copy of this book which I really enjoyed and made a pleasant change.

Poor Zoey thought she found her dream job. Putting everything into her job she had no idea she was about to have her life shattered when the FBI barged in raiding the company she works for shutting it down, for fraud.

Unable to find any other job because of the scandal, she decides to contact the FBI to see if she can find out what's going on, and to offer to help in anyway she can.
FBI Agent Alexis feels sorry for Zoey and offers her a position as an unpaid internship, as a K-9 animal specialist with free board! In the hope that putting the FBI on her cv would help on her quest to get another job.

FBI Agent Alexis and Waffle the gorgeous red Labrador were there the day Zoey's workplace was raided, so it's only right they help Zoey get settled. Alongside Handler Liam and he's adorable Black Lab Tank Zoey has a lot to learn. But will she be a valuable asset...or has she bitten off more than she can chew!

I found the story fascinating especially all the dog training and FBI procedures, it was so interesting, what a fantastic job to have.

I loved the Narrator Ann Richardson, she had a soothing voice, which kept me engaged. Her tone and change of pitch, as she changed characters was seamless which isn't always easy to do.
I don't often listen to audio books but I'm so glad I got the opportunity to listen to A Nose For Mischief as it made the book feel more special like I was part of the story!

If you enjoy Cosy Mysteries, that are pacy, full of intrigue, very Compelling, feature the most adorable fur babies, a dash of Romance and an sprinkle of danger then you are going to Love A Nose For Mischief!
This is the first book in a new series and I'm already eager to read the next installment
If you are thinking of giving an audio copy a try I would definitely recommend this one!

Thank you to Rachel Random Resources for this Audiobook copy which I reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

My Review:
What a great start to a new series this proved to be,
With K-9s, FBI agents, romance, suspense and mystery!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book
And now can't wait at more in this series to take a look!

Innocent but jobless after an FBI raid
Zoey volunteers to work for them unpaid.
She travels to Riverbend K-9 Academy
Unaware of what her future will be.

She certainly never expected to have a K-9
But she and her dog, Tasha, get along just fine.
Together they're training and as their skill grows
Tasha proves to have a very sensitive nose!

With her sister in danger, her home raided, too,
Zoey is worried and unsure just what to do.
When the opportunity arises to help investigate
What's happening now at her old job, she can't wait.

This is an FBI investigation that has suspects galore
So Zoey's uncertain who she can trust any more.
They need to identify the perpetrator quickly
For the consequences could be dire, as you'll see.

Riverbend is a delightful community where
About each other folks seem to care.
I really enjoyed this romantic suspense and so
Hope you'll also give this new series a go!

For my complementary copy of this book, I say thank you,
I throughly enjoyed reading it and this is my honest review.

First in a series. FBI meets STEM. Enjoyed the descriptions of the training of the dogs. Contemporary clean mystery. Figured out the villain about halfway through the book, but still enjoyed the story.

Strange question (bear with me a mo!), but do you ever want to kick your own butt?

*nods*

Phew! It’s a relief I’m not the only one *snorts*.

Why did I leave it so long between K.T. Lee reads?! Grr, bad Laura! Note to self: don’t do that again!

When life hands you lemons what’s a gal to do? Become an FBI dog handler-slash-intern, of course! *waves hand* Well, it’s their fault she’s in her current predicament. Trust me, Zoey may be a qualified materials science engineer, but she was running out of options and it’s kinda complicated (understatement!). She’ll be happy to fill you in once you get started.

*grins* I fell in love with a fluff ball, aka Samoyed-cross, called Tasha. (Let’s face it, I fell in love with Waffle and Tank, too!) The partnership between Zoey and Tasha was one of my favourite things in the story. It’s as if Tasha was just waiting on Zoey arriving, as if she knew, and their bond is immediate and heartwarming.

Going undercover (sorta… I’ve said it’s complicated) alongside the handsome FBI Agent, Liam Graham, and his furry partner, Tank, life is getting interesting for our h. A possible crime, escalating danger, and a frisson of romance, Zoey has a lot on her plate. She needs to use all her skills, old and new, to unravel this mystery.

I will say this, Zoey has lady balls for days! I wish we could be friends.

The will they/won’t they romance between Zoey and Liam was frustratingly good. I was in danger of wanting to slap myself again though… Who knew hand holding could be so romantic?? *sighs*

I love reading about woman in STEM (shocker, we have brains and we’re not afraid to use them!) and K.T. Lee is fast becoming one of my favourite authors in this genre.

Roll on Book 2 and Elise’s story.

If there’s one thing that I like doing, it’s discovering new authors and if the story features a dog or two then even better! I am a huge dog lover and I am currently ‘owned’ by two lovely but loopy Labradors. So you can probably understand why the synopsis of ‘A Nose For Mischief’ appealed to me so much. I couldn’t wait to start reading it so without further ado, I grabbed a cup of tea, grabbed my Kindle and settled down for what I hoped would be a fun afternoon of reading. I wasn’t to be disappointed as I thoroughly enjoyed reading ‘A Nose For Mischief’ but more about that in a bit.
I was drawn into this story from the synopsis alone and the story within the covers of the book sealed the deal as it were. Once I started reading, I found that I just couldn’t stop. I was so taken with the lead characters, the storylines and of course the dogs that I just had to keep reading. My Kindle wasn’t exactly glued to my hand but it might as well have been because it travelled everywhere with me. I couldn’t bear to miss a single second of the story. I became so wrapped up in the story that I lost all track of time and just how quickly the pages of the book were turning. At one point the pages were turning that quickly that it was almost as if they were turning themselves. All too quickly I reached the end of ‘A Nose For Mischief’ and I had to say goodbye to Zoey, Alexis, Liam and of course the lovely dogs. I found ‘A Nose For Mischief’ to be a fun, light hearted and gripping read.
‘A Nose For Mischief’ is extremely well written. The author has one of those easy going writing styles that is easy to get used to and easy to get along with. In fact reading one of her books feels more like a chat between friends rather than reading a book. I hope that makes sense. For me the story hit the ground running and maintained a fairly gentle pace throughout. I love the way in which the author makes the reader feel as though you are part of the story yourself and at the heart of the action. This book was a joy to read and I loved the story so much.
In short, I thoroughly enjoyed reading ‘A Nose For Mischief’ and I would definitely recommend this book to other readers. I will certainly be reading more from K. T. Lee in the future. The score on the Ginger Book Geek board is a very well deserved 4* out of 5*.

The first book in the Riverbend K-9 series works well as an audiobook. The characters come to life with the professional narration, and it keeps the listener engaged throughout. A North American cosy crime story, this is character-driven. The characters are complex, but the plot is relatively simple, allowing the characters to shine.

There are elements of friendship and romance and lots of lovely dog characters who are the stars of this story.

I received a copy of this audiobook from the author via Authors'Direct in return for an honest review.

Just a cute sweet adorable little read. Just women in STEM, cute dogs with jobs, some corporate espionage and little innocent closed door romance.

9.5/10 simply because I need there to be a stupid amount of character art made for this book.

Very cute, loved the characters. There was a lot of dialogue that was give or take. But for a fun cutesy read, it was perfect.

I liked it but it was odd. Some things were too easy. It was more telling than showing. There was lots of science and the dogs. The training and work with the dogs was just quickly told. I liked the main characters. I just didn't get emotions from it. It was ok just not compelling.

*I received a free copy of this book with thanks to the author and Rachel Gilbey at Rachel’s Random Resources blog tours. The decision to review and my opinions are my own.*

This story has a bit of everything cosy – some cosy mystery, some cosy romance, and lots of lovely, furry friends!

Zoey, the main character, has been cleared by the FBI investigation into her old employer but is finding the mark it left on her CV less easy to deal with. So, cutting straight to the root of the problem, she asks the FBI for a job to tide her over. But she gets more than just a CV polish when she finds some new friends, including training K9s Tank and Tasha, and their rather yummy trainer, Liam. Can she work her way back out of the doghouse, or will she find that her new opportunities offer her a new ‘leash’ of life?

This is a well-written story, with a great balance of investigation and flirtation, and lots of information about dog training, energy-related engineering, project management and spreadsheets along the way. I was particularly pleased by Zoey’s enthusiasm for spreadsheets, and that it wasn’t squashed or dismissed as ‘boring’ by the other characters – I love a good spreadsheet too and they are SO useful!

There is no murder mystery here – the mystery revolves around corporate espionage and sabotage instead, which makes a refreshing change – but plenty of intrigue and still some danger too. Plus if that wasn’t enough to keep you turning the pages, there are the endearing two- and four-legged co-workers at Riverbend K9 facility, ready to lure you with their friendly, flexible work ethos and a cuddly cow.

This is a very easy and enjoyable read all round, perfect for fans of cosy mystery, clean romance and animal companions. I can’t wait to get back to Riverbend in the next book and meet some more cute canines!

‘”Is this some kind of test?” Zoey pinched the bridge of her nose. “I didn’t do it, you know. I was working in the part of the business meant to look legitimate, and no one bothered to tell me that the company was breaking the law. Had they, I would have run fast and far away from them. What’s a girl got to do to shake that? I’ve cooperated with the FBI—” Liam raised his index finger and she waved it away. “—I’m not finished—moved halfway across the country, and have offered to scoop as much dog poop as it takes to repair the totally undeserved hit to my reputation.”
Tank nudged his nose into her hand, and she looked down. Obviously he could tell she was agitated. And she had every right to be.
Out of the corner of her eye, Zoey saw a puff of a dog about half Tank’s size coming towards them at a dead sprint. If she didn’t know better, she’d think the dog was whooping with glee and smiling as it scampered down the hallway. She crouched down to greet the dog on instinct, and the dog ran straight into her. She fell over laughing, and the dog wiggled, waving its fluffy tail in the air and sneaking a lick on her nose.
Liam looked over the fluffball at Zoey. He picked up the loose end of the newcomer’s leash. The dog sat perfectly, as if she hadn’t just bolted down the hallway at warp speed. “Sorry, Zoey. Bribe was a figure of speech. This is Tasha. Tasha, this is my new buddy, Zoey.”.'

What a great book!

Anything book which has a dog on the cover, and features a dog in the main plot then I am hooked, and this one was a wonderful read.

This is the first book I have read by K.T. Lee, so didn’t know what to expect all I know is that I loved the sound of this book and to be perfect;y honest that is all that mattered to me. I am so pleased that I did read A Nose for Mischief as I have a feeling I have been missing out on something in regards to this author, I will certainly be reading more of Lee’s work.

A Nose for Mischief is the first book in the Riverbend K-9 series, which follows the team at the new K-9 squad; managing director Alexis Thompson and her adorable sidekick Waffles. Anyone who follows my reviews will know of my love of dogs in books, true the dogs do steal every scene I did at times forget all about the humans LOL!

This is a very easy book to read, it’s light-hearted and pretty well-paced and jolly good fun, I wouldn’t say it’s a classical cosy mystery as it felt a little too cute and fluffy, but still, it kept me engaged in the goings-on. I thoroughly enjoyed following the characters as they tackled the mystery, the plot is engaging and highly enjoyable. I liked the characters, it’s not a huge cast, a smallish knit group that keeps the focus of the reader and enables you to become fully invested in their story.

My only misgivings about this are that I thought the actual mystery was a little weak, it was overshadowed by the character (especially the furry kind) and their back-stories so when it actually came to the mystery being solved I felt a little redundant as I wasn’t particularly paying attention to that aspect of their story it became a bit befuddled.

This isn’t anything new, this is a regular high for me, when walking my two four-legged demons I know every dog by their name and yet their owners of pretty insignificant lol!

Overall, A Nose For Mischief is a lightweight and entertaining book, perfect for a quick weekend read.

Oh I really enjoyed this! Zoey was working for an energy research company when in walked the FBI. Zoey was an innocent bystander but lost her job in the process and is now struggling to make ends meet and no one will take her on due to what happened- tarring everyone with the same brush. On a whim she emails the person she got on with in the investigation and asks if there are any openings, after all what has she got to lose? Fast forward and Zoey meets her new partner Tasha and Liam with Tank who is helping her with the training regime. When Zoeys sisters apartment is targeted it appears things were not quite as cleared up at her old work as everyone thought.
If you are a dog lover and think you have a smart dog- this could be for you. For me we underestimate the power of our canine friends - they have that certain ability at times to do things from nudging us in the right direction to picking us up when we are down. Canine companions and psychologists rolled into one! A story of trust and friendships, of canine love and waggy tails!

This book fell in the cozy category and I do try to avoid overall but this was fun ‘n light but not gooey. It moved at a fast clip, it didn’t have that ‘old lady’ thing going on and I just gave it four-stars because it was intriguing, the dogs were delicious and the men were equally cool. I have no complaints.

DNF - got through about 50% - but decided I wanted to spend my time with something else. Protagonist was an odd combination of juvenile, annoying & whiny, and smart (in theory) - but far from wise.

Overview: Zoey Butler has her dream job. She never wanted to build the windfarms, nor revitalize the electric vehicle industry. No, she wanted to make the batteries. However, the company that she works for, Future State, is raided by the F.B.I. and she quits on the spot. With all of the other options for a job not panning out very well, Zoey throws her lot in with the feds. Now, she's working at a small training facility in Riverbend, Indianna, Alexis Thompson's home turf. Soon, her low-paid internship has blossomed with a fury partner, and a team that wants them to succeed. But why is Future State still making a bad set of waves? Let's find out.

Dislikes: The only thing that readers might have a problem with, is how slow the story starts. Do keep in mind that Zoey is a new member of the team. We're learning alongside of her.

Likes: Alexis took a major chance with Zoey. She was a bit irritated when she sent the request in, after all.

Liam and Tank are a great team. They're also pretty good at helping new trainers get started, as well as offering Zoey ways to come out of her shell.

Elisa was willing to do what she had to in order to keep Zoey from selling her soul, so to speak.

Zoey and Tasha just fit each other's personalities. Zoey is the calming presence that such a mix of dog breeds would need. And Tasha encourages Zoey to have a little fun every now and then.

Conclusion: This was a fun read. If you enjoy stories with working dogs, give this one a shot. People who like a more serious mystery, or like books about dogs, should find this novel fun. Enjoy the read.

3.5 stars, rounded up for Goodreads and retail sites

I was granted complimentary access to A Nose for Mischief by K.T. Lee as part of my participation in a blog tour for this title with Rachel's Radom Resources. Thank you to all involved in affording me this opportunity! My thoughts are my own and my review is honest.

A Nose for Mischief is a very easy, breezy read you can finish in a single day if you want to. It's fun, light, and goes by quickly! If you're a dog lover you're sure to get lost in all the cute dogs running off of each page and through your imagination.

With that said, this didn't feel like a cozy mystery to me. Cozy mysteries, while light and non-traumatizing to read, do still tend to have a definite "bad guy" and a clearly structured plot arc. A Nose for Mischief just feels like a snapshot of the main character's unlucky but dog-filled life. The characters are fun, the dogs are great, and it's all tons of fun to read, but the antagonist is weak and I routinely forgot what the "problem" to be solved was.

If you're in it for a light read full of dogs and friendly characters and a hint of mystery, A Nose for Mischief is a great choice!

My compliments to the cover designer! This cover is cute and eye-catching and definitely made me look twice at the blog tour email for this title.

What a great story. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Zoey resigns from her job when there is an FBI raid because of a lot of trouble at her company. But even though she didn't do anything wrong, she finds it impossible to land a new job with that company on her resume. As a desperate attempt to spruce up her resume, Zoey contacts the FBI for help. What she gets is more than she ever imagined.

So a major new chapter begins in her life and she moves across the country to work for the FBI. What transpires is very uplifting and it involves dogs. A big change for Zoey. She makes new friends and really loves it...especially a man named Liam. Their adventure together is what most of the story is about, as they both go to work for her old company and try to find out what else is going on there.

There is a little romance involved, but where it goes remains to be seen. I've probably already said too much, but I'm sure you will enjoy this book, especially since it doesn't take long to read.

Riverbend K-9s #1
Shortly after graduation Coloradian Zoey Butler, an electrical engineer, was employed by a crooked company exaggerating greatly the actual capacity of their solid-state battery's storage capabilities to hoodwink their stockbrokers - a fact exposed by Zoey in her testing of the product - but now she can't find another job in her field as her only experience is with that highly publicized very illicit company. Facing true poverty, she approaches the FBI about a job - any job - with them, as they know first-hand she was the good guy in all that mess. And they do put her to work - as an assistant to the dog trainers at an FBI dog training facility they run out of an old abandoned airport in Riverbend, Indiana. Because it includes a place to live as well as company meals, she takes it even though the pay is low and she pictures herself scooping dog poop most of the day. And though even in Indiana she finds herself again in the crosshairs of the bad guys she helped expose at her former employers, she finds herself happy. Who doesn't love dogs?

This is the first book in the series. The main characters are Zoey and Liam. Liam is an FBI agent and dog trainer and Zoey is a scientist who worked with battery designs and how to make them work the best. The company Zoey worked for was raided by the FBI and she lost her job . She couldn't get another simply because she worked at the old company. She writes to the head of the dog trainers, the FBI agent who cleared her and asked for a job. They can't offer her much but she takes it. Now it seems the old company wants her back and the broke into her old place where her sister still lives, looking for something. The FBI is going back in and ask for her help. She has been working with the dogs and Liam. And maybe falling in love. With her help they are going back into the company and trying to figure out what is going on. As the start to get to figure things out, it get more dangerous. Can they figure out what is going on and who is involved before it's too late ?

This was for the first K.T.Lee story I've read, well actually listened to. It was good fun, a cozy mystery with a few twists, a romance between humans and canines. I think that was what caught my attention. It's the story of a young woman, an engineer who landed a job in a renewable energy/battery design company that was caught in an embezzlement scheme. As a scientist/researcher, she was exonerated, but the company reputation impacted her job opportunities.

She developed a relationship with to FBI leader who used K-9 team in the raid. She asked for an internships, moved from Denver to a small town in Riverbend, IN and she finds herself learning to be a dog-handler and trainer. But she's also a crack analyst. They offer her the internships and the story develops from there.

There weren't many significant surprises. But it was fun. On a snowy, wet spring day, it was entertaining.

Incredibly sweet and adventurous!

Zoey, an engineer who experiences very traumatic and unrealistic events walks out during an FBI raid. Next day, she sends an email to the FBI chief Alexis offering her services ! She gets a job as a K-9 handler training dogs in all kinds of detection activities.

As she is gaining experience, she gets an opportunity to go undercover to her old company to check on the spurious activities going on along with her new colleague and friend from the FBI K-9 training unit.

They both settle into their work routine, gather confidence of their colleagues and with the help of their K-9 companions, succeed in their mission and come back to the Riverbend K-9 unit where Zoey gets a good job doing what she loves most!

A marvelous, enjoyable reading experience!

Zoey's company just got raided by the FBI, and she had no idea they were doing anything shady. When she applies for new jobs, she's always rejected, tainted by her relationship with the disgraced employer. In desperation, she reaches out to the FBI agent who conducted the investigation, hoping for any help. She's offered a job as an unpaid dog trainer, since they are desperate to fill the position. While at the facility in Indiana, she meets Liam, another trainer and agent. Her old company wants her back since they have reorganized, so she and Liam become part of an undercover investigation there and the dogs (Tasha and Tank, who were trained in explosive detection) prove to be very helpful.

I totally got into this book, almost from the first page. Zoey left her job after a raid on the business by the FBI. Eventually she contacts the agent in charge of the K-9 training if there is a job for her. She gets a minimal wage but falls in love with the dogs there & one of them falls in love with her! Which means she is training Tasha to hunt things by smell. The man training them is Liam & his dog is Tank. Then the home Zoey shared with her sister is burgled, but nothing is stolen. But, her sister got hurt as the man rushed out as she was entering. The FBI think it is to do with her old job, so Zoey & Liam both manage to get jobs there & begin to uncover what someone doesn’t want uncovered.

Zoey Butler is a material scientist, and she has landed her dream job. She's involved in working on improved storage batteries that will make a significant contribution to both energy conservation and protection of the environment. Unfortunately, in her testing, she's not seeing the results the development side is claiming. At first she assumes it's her testing that's failing. When she realizes that development is faking their results, it's right before the FBI walks in the door. Soon, she's cleared of any involvement in the fraud, but she's also unemployed. And, it seems, unemployable, anywhere in the industry.
But Zoey cooperated with the FBI, and helped them find answers, so, at the end of her rope, she reaches out to one of the few people who know she's innocent: FBI Special Agent Alexis Thompson. Alexis makes an unusual suggestion, and soon Zoey is at the FBI's Riverbend K-9 Academy, run now by Alexis Thompson.

Initially, the plan is that Zoey use her project management skills for the academy. However, Special Agent Liam Graham, an instructor at Riverbend, has dog who needs a new training partner. Tasha's original partner was discovered to have criminal plans, and is, obviously, out. Alexis suggests introducing Zoey to Tasha, and see if they might make a good team.

Now, at this point, you may be thinking that no, the FBI doesn't recruit agents that way. I know I was. But, just go with it. Tasha needs a partner to train with, she and Zoey are a good match, and when it turns out that the criminal activity at Zoey's former employer isn't over yet, there's a role Zoey is better suited than anyone else to play. She goes sort-of undercover at her former employer, with Tasha, Liam, and Liam's K9 partner, Tank, as backup. And back in her old company, with most of the workers being familiar, and those who like Zoey, were not found to be guilty of anything in the scandal that had knocked the company back on its feet. Yet an explosion in the development facility, a break-in at the apartment Zoey previously shared with her sister, and a free promotional thumb drive that Zoey had previously been giving by her supervisor that turned out to contain some nasty spyware, proves that some guilty people had been missed. It's tricky for Zoey, not knowing who she can trust and who she can't. She, Liam, Tasha, and Tank have some exciting experiences along the way to finding the solutions.

I'm not claiming this is great literature, but it's a lot of fun.

Recommended.

All Around Great

I would add a hearty "Yes!" to some of the well written reviews for this book. It is thoroughly enjoyable.

My favorite element was how the motive and person or people involved were so well hidden by the need to find out what was actually happening in the first place and what pieces were part of the bigger picture, not random or accidental events. There are puzzles on top of puzzles on top of puzzles, but so clearly written you do not need notes to follow the plot.

Content is great, too! No graphic sex, violence, or language, just pure storytelling at its finest.

And if you like dogs 🐕... lots of bonus joy!

Happy reading!

BARBES & NOBLE FREE E-BOOK - I STARTED READING THIS E-BOOK ON 5/17/2024.

RIVERBEND K-9'S SERIES - BOOK 1 - A NOSE FOR MISCHIEF - BY K. T. LEE - BARNES & NOBLE EDITION = 196 PAGES

I SO LOVED THIS MYSTERY STORY. IT HAS LOVABLE DOGS, ROMANCE, AND A GREAT MYSTERY STORY TO SOLVE. IT WAS DIFFERENT. VERY NICE FOR A CHANGE. I JUST LOVE ANIMAL STORIES, LOVABLE CHARACTERS, AND ROMANCE. WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR? I LOVE THE BANTER BETWEEN THE MAIN CHARACTERS. I HAVE NOT READ ANYTHING BY THIS AUTHOR BEFORE, BUT I TOTALLY ENJOYED READING THIS E-BOOK. CAN'T WAIT TO READ BOOK 2. I FINISHED READING THIS E-BOOK ON 6/24/2024.

Not quite a cozy mystery but totally delightful anyway. (I went into the read thinking it was a cozy.) More K-9 with some mystery and a sweet romance.

This is the first book in the Riverbend K-9 series and each book features different main characters (another reason it doesn't fit the cozy genre.) Loved the K-9 angle -- the dogs have so much personality and the undercover investigation was an interesting twist especially since Zoey isn't an agent. Great pacing with a nice mix of K-9 training details, gentle romance and suspense.

I enjoyed listening to the audio edition narrated by Ann Richardson and will definitely be continuing with the series in this format.

Dogs, espionage, danger, attraction

"A Nose for Mischief" was a very pleasant surprise for me. No extraordinary magical abilities. Good dogs, trained to sniff out danger. Given all encompassing training and work while being loved, lived with and also allowed to be a dog.

The characters were well drawn. Zoey and Tasha, teamed with Liam and Tank returned to Zoey's old workplace, looking for what appears to be dangerous corporate espionage.

If you enjoy suspense, action, a bit of romance and mystery, I recommend this book.
