I thought the premise of the book was fascinating, probably because I am quite interested in Australian judicial stories.
However, the executive was regrettably poor. I found the stories not extremely engaging, and was largely written like court judgements. Whether that is intentional or not, I unfortunately fail to see its value in a book mass produced for the public's entertainment.
There were some stories that were genuinely amusing and hilarious, some that was insightful, some that was eye-opening even. But the critical flaw, surprisingly not the mundane writing style, is how each story severely lack substance. The stories on average were no more than 2 pages (have not actually counted) and the theme of each was vastly different. Made it quite difficult for readers, well me, to flow from one to another.
