Trick Play by Hazel Grace
I have been reading Hazel’s books since the beginning and there hasn’t been a bad one yet. The thing about Hazel Grace is that she keeps expanding and diversifying her topics/scenarios. Trick Play is a quick little story about Asher and Magnolia. Two childhood friends who fell in love, broke up, and now, Magnolia is tutoring Asher.
This coupling is so stinking adorable together. I was laughing at them and the cast of secondary characters. Magnolia is the nerdy girl who loves her dad, football, and is currently single. Asher, oh Asher, he is the it guy around town since he is the QB and has decided now is the time. He loves Magnolia, but what does she think about him? As I mentioned, this book had me laughing, yet there is one section where Asher lays it all out on the table and had me up in my feels.
If you enjoy a quick read of 20k, rival’s ex-girlfriend and small-town football star, Trick Play is for you.

Right from the beginning it’s steamy, hot, and Zales and Luke are on fire! They have been friends forever but that’s as far as it has gone. If they take their friendship further, will it bring them closer or break their friendship apart? Wait til you find out! I kept rooting for them to just be together. They were already best friends and seemed so comfortable together. There may just be one thing that’s making them not commit fully. What can it be, and how will this story end? This story will keep you wanting to read to find out what happens between Zales and Luke.

I loved how her dad and uncles made a concerted effect to help Asher win Magnolia over. But my heart about melted when Asher started telling Mags exactly how much he’s been paying attention over the years. Every woman wants a partner who knows them as well as he knows her.

I was given an advance readers copy of this book and have decided to write a voluntary honest review. This review is for Trick play by Hazel Grace, god this woman does not know how to write a bad book and that's freaken amazing coming from me. I loved Asher and magnolia I was hoping there book would be longer but I loved the lead up, just everthing. I want more of Oakley too.

This collection is on fire and will be on everyone's playlist soon. I was lucky enough to read several stories in advance and whoa, they are smoking. There is a ball in every court in this one. Steamy, RH, NA, contemporary, rom-com, jocks and the Wanna-Be stars. Power Play by Cedar Rose is for the open-minded, who don't blush easily.

I read Azalea Blooms by Zoey Drake and loved it. It was a short friends to lovers that will make you fall in love and leave you craving more time with this couple. I can't wait to see them fleshed out and watch their growth.

A group of amazing authors have come together to give us some incredible stories and I just couldn't help myself when I saw that Hazel Grace was going to be part of this collection.
I love getting to dive into one of Hazel Grace’s books, she is just extremely talented and knows what her readers want in books. I am always surprised at the stories she writes because I know for a fact that there’s always going to be twists and turns, but you’ll be gripped so much that you’ll just want to see what Hazel has planned.
Yet again I was hooked on this story and just wanted to see how things would play out and I wasn’t disappointed, I swear that Hazel just gets even more amazing with her ideas and stories as I always just want to keep on reading.
I loved the way that this story developed, the characters were gripping and you couldn’t help but love Asher and the way he was doing his best to show Magnolia that he did really care about her and that he wanted to be with her. Even though the push and pull that went on with the two of them, you can’t help but find it sweet as it’s clear they were well suited to one another.
I honestly can’t fault this story and wish that there will be more from both Asher and Magnolia as they really are adorable and they both deserve to be happy and go after their dreams.
Hazel did another amazing job and I can’t wait to see what she has planned next.
All Asher has ever wanted is to be with Magnolia, but years ago his dream got taken from him due to another guy ruining his whole set up and trying to claim her as his own. Now it’s years later and there’s little hope that he may get his girl. Managing to find a way to get her actually give him time to speak, he ends up choosing to near enough flunk out of History so that he can get tutored by Magnolia… With a plan forming he knows that he has to go all out to win her over, but when she is reluctant to even give him a chase, he keeps trying to chase her.
Will his plan work and he finally get to be with the girl of his dreams or is Magnolia’s ex determined to ruin everything so that he can’t be happy???

Reviewing Trick Play by Hazel Grace.
This was a quick and easy read with some steamy spicy moments mixed into the story. You follow Magnolia and Asher who have a push/pull relationship of sorts, with insta chemistry and tons of heated moments.
Magnolia is focused on two things in her life which happen to be school and her art. She is the girl everyone talks to and knows but doesn't go outside her comforts in life, except when she's told to tudor the one guy who she seems to run away from literally. She has known Asher since they were in elementary school and had a little relationship of sorts in middle school that makes her rin away from him becauseshe doesn'twant the heartbreak. So when she finally breaks up with her ex, she finds herself being pursued by Asher the towns favorite QB and he's out to claim her even if she doesn't want to admit her real feelings.
Asher is a very intense guy and straight out the gate he basically just tells Magnolia he's wants her now and forever. Yes he's possessive in ways but he's also sweet and protective of her. Can he come as a bit stalkery? Yes he can but he brings this intense attraction and hot sexy moments mixed into all this cat and mouse play they have going on. He wants his girl and according to him she's the only one he wants since they have been kids and now he wants his forever with her. Follow his crazy attempts of claiming his girl.
This was a quick easy dirty fun read and if you love sports romance with a side of spicy goodness this is a perfect fast read. I had the pleasure of reading an ARC with nothing to gain other than giving an honest review. I love a good sports romance that brings some steamy moments and that is exactly what this anthology brings. A definite must read.

I read Trick Play by Hazel Grace from this anthology and it was amazing so I can't wait to read the rest of the book. Trick Play was a page-turner book that I didn't want to end. I loved Magnolia just like everyone else did in the story. She's smart, talented and didn't do the things the cool kids did just to fit in. I love love love Ashen because he's the most popular guy in school and all he wanted in his life was to have Magnolia fall in love with him just like he's head over heels for her. She ran away from him whenever she could until he tricked her and she was forced to be with him. I absolutely loved the playfulness between them, the push and pull, and the love connection that they couldn't deny. Asher knew every little detail about her because she is everything to him even though she didn't know it. Magnolia and Asher are couple goals for sure. Popular, smart & full of love!! Definitely adorable and you will fall in love with them too!!

Having read Ms.Grace's work many times before i always look so forward to picking up more of her stories! As soon as i found out about Trick Play i could not contain my excitement for it! I had to dive into it as soon as i could and once i did, i was glued to my kindle. I really enjoyed this story so much!
Asher and Magnolia's journey pulled me in and didn't let go! From the feels to the steam, these two sure brought it all! Oh how i adored these two! I saw myself in Magnolia and Asher had me falling for him. I swear Asher and his determination got me right in the heart! I could picture their story so clearly in my mind and i couldn't get enough of that!
With Trick Play, Ms.Grace has created such a great and addictive sports read! I can't wait for more from her! 🧡

WOW! I can’t wait to dive in deeper to this collection of steamy stories from some amazing authors. I have only just started and I know each and every one of these stories will be outstanding.
Trick Play by Hazel Grace: I freaking loved Magnolia and Asher’s story. These two were everything! Their connection and the sexual chemistry between them oozed off the pages and had me hopelessly falling in love with them as a couple. I loved the push and pull they had going on. It made for some very intense moments with some filthy dirty talk from Asher. There was some suspense and some action that kept me captivated right to the end. It was a wonderfully sweet and sexy sports romance that I could not get enough of. Loved it.
Now I can't wait to read more of the stories in this collection.

I loved everything about this quick read and really would love to read more about these two. The small town romance with drama sucks you in from the very beginning and holds you until the end.
Can't wait to read more of Hazel Grace's work as well as more of this Anthology.

This collection was good and held a lot of steam with them players!! (A little pun humor there!)
My favorite story was Sidelines by Michele Lenard. Although I'm a 'give me all the spice now' kind of reader, I liked the sweet with the steam. The trope where the FMC falls in love with the brother's best friend is one of my favorites.
I enjoyed the slow execution that packed a punch once the story got rolling.
The other stories were great as well but this one stood out the most to me so I left a more detailed review for it.

Review Trick Play by Hazel Grace
This was my first read by Hazel and omg it was so good! This was a quick fun and smutty read. I really enjoy a good sports romance and this was perfection.
Magnolia loves life in her own little bubble but when it burst and she starts getting Asher’s attention she’s not sure how to feel. Asher was straight forward and told Magnolia exactly what he wanted and how he felt.
The push and pull between these two is really good, the chemistry is chefs kiss. I really enjoy this read.
This was my first read by Hazel and omg it was so good! This was a quick fun and smutty read. I really enjoy a good sports romance and this was perfection.
Magnolia loves life in her own little bubble but when it burst and she starts getting Asher’s attention she’s not sure how to feel. Asher was straight forward and told Magnolia exactly what he wanted and how he felt.
The push and pull between these two is really good, the chemistry is chefs kiss. I really enjoy this read.

This was a super sweet short read! Asher has been in love with Magnolia for years, but always gave her space, until he realizes its time to make his move. And boy does he! He isn't afraid to show her he's all in. Artsy Mags can't believe that the popular quarterback everyone in town loves could possibly want her, but she slowly comes to see there's more to Asher Clark than she thought.

Review for Trick Play by Hazel Grace
This one is quick, it's sweet, and my goodness is it just the right amount of spicy! Asher is an absolute dream. If I could kidnap him straight out of this book, I'd do it! Not only are his actions sweet as all get out, but the way he talks to Magnolia is hot as sin 🥵 If you need a book boyfriend that's sweet on the streets but dirty talks you to completion in the sheets, you need to read this right now. Right-freaking-now!

I’m reviewing Trick Play by Hazel Grace.
I absolutely LOVED this story!
It’s Magnolia and Asher’s final year in HS and Asher is determined to finally get his girl.
I loved how sweet and how much he so clearly adored Magnolia.
I also loved how he wasn’t the typical jock, he wasn’t arrogant, instead he was kind and sweet especially to Magnolia. He was also super funny.
I’d have absolutely loved this story to be a full length book. I need more of these characters. The side characters were great, especially her Dad and Frank.
If you liked Crazy For This Girl by the same author then you’ll love this!!

I swear to you I would read anything Hazel puts in front of me. The banter and witty sarcasm between Magnolia and Asher had me rolling in laughter. And can I say, HELLO ASHER!! I loved this character. He's the possessive alpha that every girl wants trying to grab your attention. Magnolia is a sweet girl and when she gets tasked with tutoring the QB she's in for more than she bargained for. Such a great read!!

I read Trick Play by Hazel Grace. I absolutely loved this novella. Asher has been. In love with Magnolia for a long time, but she has been dating his rival. Asher is so sweet, with an Alpha side and was not taking Magnolia’s rejection. Magnolia did not believe the popular quarter back from school liked her and was dodging his advances. These two are so adorable! This is such a sweet and steamy book!

Review for Trick Play by Hazel Grace: It had a Small town feel and such a great read. I know that it was a novella but it was too short! Asher has alway wanted Magnolia and now that she broke up with her boyfriend, he finally has a chance. I loved Asher and Magnolia. The chemistry was off the charts. I loved how persistent Asher was to getting his girl. I also love how protective he was of her!

Wow! Hazel Grace did it again! 🙌 the writing is amazing I found myself falling asleep with my kindle in my hand trying to stay awake and read! It was so good and pulled me in right away! Magnolia was the perfect Fmc in my eyes i just wish she would have given up to Asher Quicker because I fell for him right away! He was relentless in his pursuit of her and I loved it. 😍

I absolutley fell in love with Asher and Magnolia. Their story is the perfect mixture of spicey and cute moments and the chemistry was phenomenal between the two! It was a quick read and I highly recommend!

This collection was quite good. But my favourite was Trick Play by Hazel Grace. Her characters are so life like I feel that I am there with them. Her creativity has me coming back for more. Never a disappointment.

There is such a wide variety of jock romances in this anthology. Each is so entertaining and I each of the authors provides something unique and different. There really is something for everyone in the anthology.
