Deku Enchanted

Rate this book
Just like every other day, Izuku mumbled up a storm and about fifteen minutes later (a drastic increase from the measly three minutes he would have gotten in their first year), Katsuki turned to him and snapped. "Shut the fuck up nerd! I can barely hear myself think!"

And Izuku's jaw practically sealed itself shut. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't open his mouth to speak. Thankfully, he wasn't called on during the lesson, but that didn't mean he hadn't tried to participate. He just couldn't.

—or—

Izuku is hit by an obedience quirk, and he wonders who exactly he wronged in a past life to deserve this much bullshit.

“Last one, Zuku, and I need you to believe this one the most, okay?” Izuku nodded, smearing tears into Katsuki's hero costume, which he still hadn't taken off. “I love you. I love you and I don't want to do any of this without you.”

This was such a cute fanfiction! The Enchanted concept was so well adapted to the BNHA universe, and it felt very very close to what could have canonly happened. I like that the quirk was adapted to its full potential, and every scenario was explored. I do think it was starting to be a bit long at the end, but it did allow for many darker themes to be explored, and I really enjoyed myself.

The way Katsuki and Izuku got together was so fun, but I especially loved to see their actual relationship. They were so wholesome and the character development felt realistic and made them so easy to love. I liked that even the side characters had some kind of importance and were never left behind.

Sorry for the spoilery thought, but I ADORED that Mineta and Monoma finally got some kind of retribution against them after their disgusting behavior. It was very satisfying, especially seeing how unpunished they go in the canon.
