After being hit by an unknown curse and disappearing during the Battle of Hogwarts, Hermione is presumed dead. Draco never gave up hope of finding her though, since there was no body left behind, she just disappeared. Six years after the end of the war, Harry and Malfoy are both Aurors and partners, and Draco comes across someone in France who recognizes the picture of Hermione he’s been carrying with him to show wherever he is sent on missions. After meeting a little boy with white-blond hair and his cat who suspiciously looks like Crookshanks, Draco is devastated to find out that Hermione has no memories at all of what happened before she was hit by the curse. She doesn’t even know that she is a witch and that magic exists, so it’s up to Draco to make her fall in love with him again in hopes that she will finally gain back her memories.
I loved all of the Dramione I’ve read so far, but this version of Draco is so sweet and adorable. He spent the last 6 years hoping that the love of his life is still alive, and he never gave up on her. He’s even willing to pass as a muggle and leave the wizarding world behind if that’s what it takes to be with Hermione and their son. He is so devoted to them, it was heartwarming. I admit that I also have a big weakness when it comes to fictions with an adorable child involved. Seeing Draco and his son interact was soooooooo cute!
I would have loved to know more about how Draco and Hermione came to be together during the war. All we have are a few flashbacks that give us the very basics of their relationship, but nothing more. I am not a fan of flashbacks usually, but for this particular story, I think it would have been good to have more of them.
I really like the idea of Malfoy and Harry being buddies, and even sharing a flat together. We don’t see them interact much as the story is focused on Draco and Hermione, but I really enjoyed the little I saw of them together.
Overall, the plot is quite simple and straightforward. It’s all about Draco trying to get Hermione to remember him, and her falling in love with him again, but it’s a fluffy and sweet fanfiction that’s a page-turner and a quick read.

Six years later, on an Auror mission in France, he spots a young boy with blonde hair holding a half-kneazle that looks like Crookshanks. When the boy leads Draco home to his mother, he is elated to find Hermione but utterly devastated to learn she doesn't remember anything before six years ago.

My Thoughts:
I could not put this story down! The beginning is heart-wrenching, and there's a bit of angst, but don't worry, the ending is HEA (Happily-Ever-After). ❤️
The storyline was so unique and hooked me from Chapter 1. I mean, Hermione goes missing and is presumed dead, and then six years later Draco finds her in a small town with his son. . . COME ON! How could you stop reading????
This Draco has my heart. He spends six bloody years looking for the love of his life. And even when everyone tells him to move on, he doesn't give up hope. He is so in love with Hermione that it will make your heart ache. Like, why is he so perfect???? 😭 I am in love with Draco and his absolute devotion to Hermione and Scorpius. What he's willing to give up for them is the definition of love.
There's a bit of mystery in figuring out what exactly happened to Hermione and why she's lost her memories, but it was a tad predictable and wrapped up pretty quickly.
My only wish. . .
There should have been more flashbacks. It would have really helped the reader understand Draco's devotion to Hermione if we saw the development of their relationship during the war. Honestly, this would make for an amazing prequel!
Overall, it's a sweet and romantic Dramione fanfic with a bit of angst and mystery. Read this for all the feels. ❤️

Cute story but it could've used more action and suspense.
There was a lot of potential for more of a plot; it would've been more exciting if Hermione and/or Scorpius were in danger. Instead, everyone was just going about their lives normally.
I was also hoping that either Hermione's doctor or Clara could be a villain but they were bland supporting actors who were there just to add to the number of characters in the story.
But! Despite all of what I've written above, this was still a cute story that I enjoyed to pass time.

There was a lot of potential for more of a plot; it would've been more exciting if Hermione and/or Scorpius were in danger. Instead, everyone was just going about their lives normally.
I was also hoping that either Hermione's doctor or Clara could be a villain but they were bland supporting actors who were there just to add to the number of characters in the story.
But! Despite all of what I've written above, this was still a cute story that I enjoyed to pass time.

Ok so that was sweet. I really love a fierce and capable Draco. I am simply fond of fanfictions where one of them suffers from memory loss (preferably Hermione so Draco can grovel at her feet once more and make her fall in love with him twice). Scorpius is always a nice addition to this kind of story. He’s just so cute.

A bit shorter than I like. I wish their past interactions in the safe house and how they got together was explored in more details rather than being mentioned briefly. Some parts of Draco scouring the cities in search for Hermione and the helplessness he felt would serve as a good prelude while he reminisced their past. The part about Scorpious having taken to liking Draco is incredibly sweet and endearing.

Really cute! The plot for the mystery could’ve been less predictable and would’ve loved to have seen more flashbacks of the war and how they got together but overall simple, sweet, and well written. Feel good fic.

I think this was super cuteee. I definally love that they are mature adults who actually communicate and don't allow the miscommunication troupe to flourish, because if I hate anything it's that.
I feel like some of the plot was just shoved in there and just completely brushed over instead of giving us the full story we needed. I think it could have used more chapters to go deeper into thing like the curse and what happened it the attack. I got really confused towards the end because she got attacked but we were never really told who did it?? The last couple chapters felt like it was just shoved in there because the author wanted to finish it.
Otherwise, I think this was super cute and for some reason I really like the "hidden child" (idk what it's properly called) troupe. Couldn't tell you why lol
I really loved the fluff and even though it had smut, it wasn't super detail and mostly had a fade to black aspect.

In my opinion, this book is a distinct piece of work. It shows a different Draco that we are used to which caught immediately my attention. Hermione is sweet as always and has a little boy, Scorpios, who resembles both of them in many ways. I love how the three of them bounded from the very beginning. However, I wished there was more character development and I think the author could’ve explored further how they met and how they fell in love. Dramione is known for its hard relationships and this one diverges from what we are used to reading.
This book is easy to read and can turn into a quick read, great for when we can’t afford to be obsessed and addicted to a long and hard-to-read book. Also, even though there is some violence described in the book, it is a very soft and light story, good to detox from all of the toxicity that best portrays this kind of fanfictions. We have a happy family, Draco being best pals with Harry and most of all, someone lovely and respectful, a true gentleman.
Even though its plot may seem a bit obvious in some parts, I deeply recommend this work to everyone who wants to witness a good many helping a single mom who has been Obliviated. The cherry on top, really is he bonding with her son (who is also his son, but read so you can understand better).

So, I already read this. But I don't remember when. It could most likely be around this time last year or earlier. But since I already read it, I skipped the first half and started it from 49%.
The angst was absolutely angsting. Probably the best one. Draco looked for her for six years, after he saw her vanish in a purple blast, and everyone would tell him that she was really gone. He didn't believe it once and I'm happy he didn't. He found her after all that time and he would do it again if he could spend that time with her.
Of course Scorpius was absolutely adorable. He was 5 in this fic, which meant, since he was the son of Hermione and Draco, he was smarter than a normal toddler. And I absolutely enjoyed it. This was probably the my first Scorpius fic. But I don't remember anymore so meh who knows.
But in the end this fic was utterly amazing. Bye now.

This was cute. I love when there’s a story with little scorpious. I had just reread manacled so I wanted to read a lighter one. And this was light for the most part with a bit of dark undertones. I’m glad she got her memory back though, I was worried with how the story was going that she would not. And I liked that her and Draco and scorpious became a family even before she remembered.
Always I totally called it with Lucius cause he no bueno.
I love how scorpious is always a cute combination of malfoy and hermiones personalities.

Sono molto contenta di aver letto questa fanfiction dopo aver visto un video su tiktok che ne parlava. È stata una lettura dolce, che mi ha sbloccato il blocco.
Nonostante mi sia piaciuta ritengo che sarebbe potuta essere strutturata meglio. A partire dalla seconda metà trovo che diversi momenti siano stati affrettati, per esempio c'è un momento di azione verso la fine che mi è sembrato sia durato tre paragrafi... non ho nemmeno fatto in tempo a "preoccuparmi". E con questo ci sono altri casi.
Inoltre avrei adorato se nella storia ci fossero stati più flashback su come Draco e Hermione si erano innamorati a Hogwarts, una sorta di doppia storia d'amore.

3.5/5 ⭐️ I had just finished a Dramione inspired book (Brigitte Knightley’s new release) and was suddenly craving some Dramione fanfic angst - specifically one where they are parents (I know, a weirdly specific mood). This was exactly what I was looking for! A cute, angsty read that showed Draco trying to get to know Hermione, dealing with memory loss, again and his son. Seeing their family come together was so sweet, and I loved seeing Draco trying to get to know them slowly as a muggle. The plot and greater world wasn’t anything crazy, and I’ve definitely felt more for the characters in other fanfics. However, I had a great time with this one, and it hit the spot perfectly! 🫂👥🫅🏼☁️

This was okay, but it's definitely one of the weaker fics I've read in terms of pacing and execution. I felt like things could have been less rushed at times and more drawn out - everything happened a bit fast overall. In addition, there were what I'd label as plot-holes throughout the entire fic. For example, although being set in France, speaking French was not discussed or mentioned even once. Everyone just seemingly spoke in English, which was strange thinking about it now. It was little things like this that ended up adding up in the end for me and brought it down in terms of rating.

It had its moments and a ver good start. Sadly, it felt too short and rushed at the end. And a little bit anticlimactic. The family dinamic was good but everything was moving very fast.
Anyways, Scorpius was well charactherized according to his age and I really enjoyed imagining the setting (but I'm not sure if it snows in France).
Gladly it was short, that made the interest remain throughout the chapters.
I liked it for what is was, a simple and cozy love story of my favorite ship.

4.5⭐️ Wow this was so good! There was so much heart break but it was a HEA ❤️ Lots of angst from Draco trying to track down Hermione and potentially fix her mind but also get to know Scorpius. It’s an AU where Draco turned before the end of the war and started a relationship with Hermione. Even though it was so good, it was on the verge of too much angst for me since Draco missed out on so much.

It’s hard to rate shorter stories on the same scale as novels. But here we are.
It was cute. Less than 100,000 words and I ate it up in one setting. Wish we could have seen more of their relationship before the battle and the hardships after FMC was attacked.
FMC was annoying. Just oblivious to the world and absolutely zero stranger danger.
