FRAGMENTS OF THE FALL is the electric, fast-paced conclusion to the post-apocalyptic / dystopian Remnants Trilogy.
If I could give it 3.5 stars that would be more accurate of a rating. While still a good story and it caps off the Remnants Trilogy without many loose ends, unfortunately it suffers from massive pacing issues. It feels way too rushed. Whole chunks of story are just completely skipped, leaving us to fill in the blanks based on the outcome. It felt like a race to complete the trilogy. The book picks up 10 months after the end of the 2nd book and ends 2 years after the events of the preceeding chapters, but in the most jarring way possible. I wanted to see how things reached their conclusion and how everyone was dealt with for myself and not had it spoonfed in 5 pages. I feel the final book deserved better.
