I Just Wanna Live My Life: Poetry of a deaf, borderline, asexual lesbian

Rate this book
Life is a series of unique challenges and obstacles that we must learn to overcome, lest we buckle under the crushing weight of expectations.

Every year it seems like I've uncovered a new reason that just getting on with my life and doing what I need to is "brave." I don't know about that, all I can ever say that I am with absolute surety is 'me'. I certainly don't speak for the trees.

Join me on a journey through one of the most challenging times in my life as I express my pains and pleasures in the best way I know how; the written word.

“When the movie’s over and the dream is done,
All that’s left to do is exit the cinema.”

- from "Untitled" by A Paige Reid

I'm honestly kind of surprised at how much I enjoyed this. Some of the poems in this collection were really, really good.
