The only thing worse than being involved in a space pirate conspiracy is being involved in a space pirate conspiracy involving mechasharks.

On a mission to nullify a potential threat in the form of the nastiest space pirate in the Known Universe, Tayne and his crew find themselves and their ship grounded on the space pirate homeworld.

And what’s worse, they’re suspected of being responsible for the murder of a prominent space pirate.

When the space pirate justice system shows itself to be little more than a turn in a truthscanner and a few grammatically impoverished threats, Tayne and the crew of the Firestorm take it upon themselves to clear their names. But before long, they find themselves rocket-launcher-pegleg-deep in a space pirate conspiracy.

With the entire planet on their trail, can they unravel the conspiracy and unmask the conspirators? Or will they become permanent residents of the space pirate homeworld’s nastiest jail?

Ignite is the second book in the Star Inferno series. If you like turbo grog-drinking space pirates, mind-controlled dinosaurs and murderous mechasharks, you’ll love this classic, inventive space adventure. Grab Ignite and get your laserhooks into the continuation of the Star Inferno storyline today.

Hadwin Fuller is the author of the space opera series Star Inferno. He writes sci-fi novels packed to the air seals with blaster brawls, space dogfights and misfit crews of loveable weirdos who are forced to band together to save the universe.

Like most sci-fi writers, Hadwin is the victim of a misspent youth (he blames his parents) in which his head was buried far too often in sci-fi novels and far too rarely in schoolbooks. It is from this vast expanse of wasted time that he channels his inner sci-fi writer.

Hadwin lives in Vietnam with his wife, newborn baby and robot vacuum cleaner. When he’s not pressing his eyeballs up against the display of his e-reader, Hadwin can be found blasting around town on his motorbike, loafing around in coffee shops and eating his way through every Vietnamese food they have a name for.

Clueless

Are some authors clueless or just trying to be funny.
So here we have the star of the story, Mr T Sondar. Don't know if I spelt that correctly. He is over 500 years old gifted in some ways and very strong. With age comes wisdom, so the experts say. So why did the author choose to make the character, Mr T Sondar, act like a bloody idiot in this story. There is no charisma, and he certainly is not funny. Kept getting into idiotic but avoidable situations. This silly nonsense spoilt what could have been a really good story.
Of course there was some excitement and a little adventure, but it was not brilliant as it could have been. The best parts of the story are the two characters, the pink pussy and Hoogris. These two actually improved on the storyline immensely.
I can only hope there is improvement in the next book. And that Mr T Sondar shows a little more intelligence.

love the banter!

Imagine if James Bond was a space captain with a moral compass... add a mismatched and feisty crew, futuristic settings, astonishing lifeforms (and snarky AI's), and a convoluted mystery with creative solutions... well this is it!
This has everything you'd want from a grand space adventure and so much more!
highly recommend this Book and also the first in series.
Am now off to find book 3.

A crazy sci fi fantasy romp

First, the spidercams made a cameo appearance that was great, but Jacy's jetcycle stole the book. The worldbuilding is a little crazy, the characters all need therapy, and Tayne's dino ride was the dream of every nerd ever. There is graphic violence and possibly a significant body count due to the bad guys. I'm enjoying the Star Inferno series much more than I expected.

Improving with progress

I struggled with the first book, it was slow getting started, though the ending was much improved. This one was much better and more engaging throughout. Perhaps due to familiarity with the characters, but I felt more interested. The humor and camaraderie we're much improved, and while full of some outlandish pieces, it kept the story fun.
