Returning from a Wasteland timeslip Adie and Company find Clearhelm in chaos. It seems Adie's Great Demon Reveal has led to a joint task force and not everyone is happy. The masses have taken to the streets. A problem for another day. Right now Adie has Demons to reunite with. All of her loved ones are safe and Donald needs saving.
This is the first episode where it's clear the end is nearing. It was almost bittersweet at times. Adie has had such an impact on so many. The imps and Baku have found their voices, the babies are thriving, the Demons have found their hearts. Dreamland has new life (and a new meeting hall) and the Wasteland has new life. The Cleaners and witches have become part of Adie's family. They haven't recovered Landon and the Hag but they have figured out how to save the Untethered. The end is close. Clues were uncovered, discoveries were made, future plans are being discussed, and preparations are being finalized. So many pieces were put in place for a final showdown. Everything is set for a HEA if they can win this last battle. And just as you start feeling that maybe everything is looking good, that ending. It was a bit of a shock, and all I could do was hope for Adie to remember Flint's words.

The Pieces it the 5th part to L.L. Frost’s Succubus Ascended Serial storyline arc, and with this book, the end is just a step closer. Adie and those who were with her in the Wasteland have finally managed to get back. But things have changed since they were gone. Some are dealing well with the changes coming, while others are completely against it. A new era is dawning, and the time for good-bye is coming closer, but first Adie intends to keep a promise.
Helping is always what Adie wants to do, and she promised to restore Donald. Can she do it? Will the changes that are happening threaten those around her? Can she stand to say good-bye to those she’s come to be so close to? So many questions, but some of them will be answered.
This installment of the series is a bit slower paced, but gives readers a taste of steamy time that Adie has missed with her men while she was gone. Careful though it might bring a tear or two to your eyes as well. The end is near and the cliffhanger at the end of this book is setting the stage for it all. I’m rating this book 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Thrilling Paranormal Adventure
As Adie Boo Pond's (I love saying her full name) adventures come to a conclusion the action is intense and the romance even more steamy. The humor is hilarious. I look forward to the next installment.

A great reunion
This is pretty much the perfect chapter. A return from Wasteland, Adie’s fantastic reunions with her demons and friends, her imps and co-workers. New powers/tricks discovered. Donald healed and restored. But wait, it can’t go that smoothly…
