That ending tho😳👀👀👀😡😡😡
Whew Chil, Queen Journee Jordan had me sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for Baby to realize what we all knew, her sister hoe a** played her😡😡😡.
Poor Baby was set up by her own sister and just found out just what Jayde meant when she kept telling her she was blind to her Leah bs. Welp that ending just proved that her "sister" and her phuck boy for an ex was screwing behind her back the whole motherfudgesicklestix time. Bay-be hands will be laid cause biiihhh I lost years, I'm now a felon cause of yo lying conniving, backstabbing, hoe a**. Yeah you getting dragged, period!
Then T.K phuck boy a** needs that a** beat too, bih a**.
Auntie and Jayde were some fools
That dang Lauren was beyond 🍆matized. She definitely had some screws loose, cause she couldn't catch a clue to save her life. That popping up at Love house pretending they were a couple and ish was creepy asf, but sending all those gifts😳😔🤣.
Love brother Valentine ain't no better than Baby sister Leah. That fool done got him caught is some bs😔😡

3.5 ⭐️ The fact that this book that is apart of a standalone Valentine’s Day series of books & has a 2nd part has me 38 hot! It was only 100 pages, like what 👀😬! Other than that it was a decent build up to the actual story I guess, nothing really happened, it was just an introduction to the characters I guess you can call it..!

I say this often, but the editing could be improved. There were semicolons instead of comma. Sometimes I struggled to tell who was talking. It really dragged on, and then ended on a cliffhanger. I see the next book is out with 230+ pages. I’m really not sure if/when I’ll read it. Everything in this built to the cliffhanger, but one part was predictable and the other was stupid.

Only to realize her probation officer is the guy she had a crush on before you got sent to prison. Love is surprised and smitten when his old crush turns out to be his new parolee. Trying to resist temptation and crossing any ethic laws neither Baby or Love confess how they really feel. Deciding to go against his better judgement Love takes Baby out for Valentines Day. The night ends with Love being arrested for a crime he didn’t commit and Baby catching her sister in bed with her ex that sent her to prison. Great read from NTM author Journee Jordan.

Wow , I love how Baby protected her sister from her ex. she was glad to serve those years so her sister wouldn't have to deal with trauma. I love how Baby and Love has such deep chemistry. Love Boss is crazy and his brother is full of shit. Baby sister I Had a feeling she was upo to know good bc she was ungrateful and should have been doing her best to show Baby how much she appreciate all she sacrifice for her by going to jail and protecting her. Deep down I had. a feeling that what her sister was hiding but boy I can't wait to see what Baby next move going to be.

Omg! So mad it left me hanging like that! Little sister is a hot mess and knows it too! Lauren is awesome crazy and I know she's going to do something real dumb. Too bad Love is in trouble behind his stupid twin brother and their mother is going to side with him. The momma needs to be placed in a care facility if she doesn't get herself together. I wanna know if Aunt Misha boyfriend is really a good guy . Also what's up with the stank attitude cousin? Hurry up and send part 2!

This book captured my attention at the very beginning and held it until the end. It was romantic, sad, exciting and drama filled. Leah was so ungrateful and I can't wait until Baby beat her behind. Jayda should've been Baby sister bcuz Leah thot behind don't know anything about loyalty. Valentine's was a selfish dude. I hope Love can clear her name. TK about to be swimming with the sharks. Its about to be on like donkey kong!

I knew that Leah was up to no good. The way she did Baby in the mall was ridiculous! Baby missed out on three years of her life for her nasty low down sister, only for her to sleep with the man that she served time for. Love me some Leah. Lauren is crazy as all get out. Valentine's is low down as well, I'm sure he was the one that robbed the bank. Now, will Baby tell on herself or will she let the system figure it out.

I'm rooting for Baby because she gave the ultimate sacrifice for her sister. Love is something else and if what he got has women acting nuts like his supervisor, I'm not sure I want any of it lol. Seeing folks in Baby's corner like Love, Jayda, and her aunt has me wanting only the best for her. That ending had my confused and shocked though!! I cannot wait to see what happens next!!

Great Read
This is something that I definitely was intrigued by! I am already ready for book two. I absolutely loved Love! He was something else, but couldn’t catch a break when it came to his twin. Baby was such a sweetheart! I just wasn’t ready for what was revealed at the end. Can’t trust your own family. Ready for more!!

Baby took a charge thinking he was trying to rape Leah and her n TK was sleeping together all tht time hell no wonder Leah was acting like she was. How the sister you go to jail for treat you shady once you come home. I knew it was something going that would come out.

why is there a part 2?
The book was good. Great even, but it’s a short book as is but has a cliffhanger. I see no reason why it couldn’t have been a standalone. It’s a VALENTINES DAY book. At least that’s what I took from the title. Now we’ll be waiting maybe months later to finish a book about Valentine’s Day.
