Suburban Warfare: A cop's guide to surviving a civil war, SHTF, or modern urban combat.

Rate this book
The western world is devolving into war, hyperinflation, and socio-political chaos making preparation for post-SHTF survival more fraught than ever for suburbanites. Not all of us are fortunate enough to live in rural areas or have bug-out cabins in remote mountains. The majority of the population will have to survive, and fight, where they are in cities big and small. Rather than give it up for lost, this book provides analysis of the uncertain urban world to come and how to navigate its dangers.

Civil war is an unpleasant almost certainty. Average citizens will be called to take up the mantle of defending their homes and neighborhoods. Unprecedented challenges will come to the heartland such as bombings, drone attacks, and perhaps even genocide. Suburban residents may be living in a modern American version of the siege of Sarajevo.

This book is the perfect follow-up companion to Suburban A cop's guide to protecting your home and neighborhood during riots, civil war, or SHTF. Some of the topics examined defenders can use drones,How to defeat armed drones,Urban fighting in modern American terrain,What authorities can do to mitigate the risks ahead,Vehicular gunfights, andMitigating the risks of air-delivered munitions.
This book is how average people, with no military or law enforcement skills, can survive an armed conflict a modern American suburban neighborhood. Military and police tactics have been adapted for realistic scenarios that civilians might face.

This is a good book that expands on some of the ideas presented in the author's previous book, Suburban Defense. However, despite the title, the book spends a significant amount of time discussing strategies for operating in protest and other low intensity conflict environments.

Only really helpful if you have access to a weapons arsenal, an ammunition depot, multiple forms of communication equipment, and trained weapons and communications experts.
