About the author

Carol Kinsey lives with her husband and their two daughters on a farm in rural Ohio. She and her husband have been involved in youth ministry for over twenty years and currently serve at a small country church, which inspired her first novel, Under the Shadow of a Steeple. Her novel, Witness Protection, was released in September 2017. She has also published Greater Love, Until Proven Innocent, and a writing curriculum, Creative Writing Through Literature. Carol has a passion for writing exciting Christ-centered fiction that uplifts, encourages, and gives glory to God.

I LOVED this book! Fast paced, suspenseful, and well written! Wish I could give Undercover more than five stars. I’ve read all of Kinsey’s books and this one does not disappoint!

Carol Kinsey develops a complex story line with such lovable characters that you will become invested in their lives. In fact, I became so concerned for the main characters, Cassie Greenwood and Cody Dunbar, I couldn’t put the book down.

She writes a convincing tale of intrigue in Undercover. One where you want the characters to succeed in their quest to end drug trafficking in their town.
While rooting for the couple as they navigate a growing attraction for one another, the suspense builds on another level- will the good guys win?

The skiing scenes are on point and sweet romance between Cassie and Cody reminded me of my own relationship with my husband and I. We met on a group ski trip and married five years later.

Undercover is an altogether satisfying novel from beginning to end!

After loving Witness Protection (the prequel to this book), I was pleased to discover that Undercover was just as good. You get to follow Cassie around as she noses her way into a ski lodge looking for the truth relating to her friend, when out of nowhere Cody, the brother of Brooke from Witness Protection, jumps into the story line. This is a thrilling book that I would recommend to anyone looking for an engaging Christian novel to read.
