Ava I am the pretty blonde cheerleader adored by all. The popular girl, living that so-called perfect life. But when my childhood sweetheart betrays me in the worst possible way, my entire world comes crashing down around me. They say you should always expect the unexpected in life. But the one thing I never expected… was him.
Mason I am the high school nerd. The ghost in the shadows who is invisible to everyone. I’m the guy who doesn’t get the girl. For years, I have watched her from the sidelines. My obsession and need for her growing and obliterating all rational thought. When our two worlds collide, I finally bring myself into her line of sight, capturing and claiming her for my own. But with the sweet comes the sour. Her ex-boyfriend is determined to win her back and will stop at nothing to tear us apart. An enemy I didn’t even know I had, emerges, threatening to destroy everything I have built. But I’ve never been one to back down from a fight. No one will take my Flower away from me. No one will take what’s mine.
*** Flower is book one in The Kryptonite Series. It is a full-length standalone novel with a HEA guaranteed. It contains graphic sex scenes, violence, bullying, substance abuse, and foul language. Recommended for readers eighteen years and over.
It had a nerdy alpha H in high school, who was totally obsessed with the h. I loved that he was going through unrequited love for the h since middle school. I LOVED that the h was strong enough to leave the cheating asshole om and acted exactly like how I wish every cheated on h would act. She dumped his ass, found a gorgeous man better than the cheater and had amazing sex and orgasms with someone who genuinely loved her.
Thank you author for writing this book! This is exactly how every cheater book should end. With the cheater losing the girl and her strong fabulous self ending up with a man worthy of her.
Ps. Please, please don’t write a book about the piece of shit cheater OM, he doesn’t deserve a book.
Sexiest alpha-nerd virgin I've ever read. I don't dislike the h nor do I love her but HE does so she better stay with him while he wants her - which is gonna be for eternity. Mason has loved Ava for the past 6 years - adores the ground she walks on. He's a nerd, overlooked by everyone as a nonentity; always in the background, he isn't interest in anyone except his family and one friend; goes about his day without giving a crap about who thinks what about him. She's an ex-cheerleader; gf to the school's golden boy, but now finds that she doesn't need THAT crowd since her bf cheated on her. She finally notices Mason; lotsa teenage/young adult drama ensues until his secret is revealed: he orchestrated the beginning of the end of her relationship with her asshole ex bf. LOL - he sure had ME fooled, the delicious alpha boy - GO MASON! - the way he went about it was brilliant - what do they say; still waters run deep - that's our hero here

3.5 stars. I’m surprised by just how much I enjoyed this high school romance! I really do my best to stay away from books with MCs as young as these are- but I saw a few reviews that convinced me to give this a shot, and I’m glad I did.
Before I get into my review, let me just say that this book is probably best read without too many spoilers, especially if you want maximum angst. Don’t read my review if you’re planning to read this book because I can’t promise to not spoil something that ruins the angst.
First, for a debut author, this book was VERY well written. It hooked me right from the start and the pace was perfect and kept me from wanting to put it down. I also really liked the storyline - this is a cheating-centered romance where the heroine doesn’t end up with the cheater. I liked that we got the exploration of cheating, the fall out, the angst, etc. But it’s nice that this heroine had a nice strong backbone and didn’t even once consider giving her cheating ex a second chance.
As I said, I really did enjoy the storyline. However, there were a few instances when the drama got too dramatic for me. Simply put, it became immature and stupid. It makes some sense for a high school romance, but since I am not personally a fan of high school drama, I didn’t enjoy those parts.
The hero and heroine are both very likable MCs. They both have flaws, but there are instances when the way they are written is a little questionable. For example… the hero is a nerd and no one really notices him. He supposedly just wore baggy clothes and didn’t talk much. But all of the sudden the heroine noticed him and he’s revealed to be so handsome, and so built, and he’s even a Krav Maga expert and cage fighter. I have a hard time believing that he could hide all that hotness and good physique behind some baggy clothes and glasses.
Overall though, I really liked this story. I especially liked the ending and HEA epilogue. I’m going to be watching for more books by this author in the future, I have high hopes for the next book.
Safety info; I’m only calling this SWE for two reasons… 1)pretty high angst 2) how often cheating is explored in this book. The MCs do not cheat on one another, but it seemed like all of the side characters were cheating left, right & center. The hero was a virgin, heroine has been with one boyfriend for years and had bad sex with him, she is cheated on by that boyfriend, on page. There’s a good amount of OM and OW drama.
TW: cheating, unwilling drug use, alcoholism, violence, abuse

Is this the best ever? No but I’m going to give it a 5. Why? Cause I got feels with it. Mason was the cutest thing. I loved him and his love for Ava. He made the book for me. How often do we read a guy like him? He waited for her and gave her all his first and last. I’m sorry but we don’t find many like him. I didn’t blame him for what he and Hadley did. Was it wrong? Yes but I understood him,one chance before senior year ended and he took it. 😂 For a first book she did great 😌. I forgot this one very important thing. The heroine leaves the cheating zero and never goes back. Woohoo 🙌🏼 finally. Know your worth in books and IRL ladies.
This is a solid HS-soapy read, but the drama sits firmly in the HS lane. (bullying, ex-issues, family drama) So, FYI if that isn’t your thing. The blurb sets this up, Ava is the school cheerleader dating the star football player. Mason is the alpha hiding in geeks clothing that’s been in love with her since middle school. The book opens with Ava being betrayed by her bf and being partnered with Mason for a school project.
There were so many things handled right. ✔️ The h was popular AND kind. She was also strong and demanded more when her bf did her wrong. ✔️ The H was smart AND athletic. He was nerdy AND alpha, and totally dedicated to the h. ✔️ The teen drama is handled maturely (for 18-yr-olds). Some parts get very dramatic but it never felt immature or childish… merely soapy. (no stomping, screaming, pouting, etc.) ✔️ And I loved that she poked fun at certain tropes being outdated.
(while discussing a book) Me: He cheated on her and got that other woman pregnant. Mason: Is this book set in the 1950s? Me: No. It is set in the present time. Why? Mason: Haven’t they ever heard of child support? 👏👏👏
And witty…
She made it sound like your kiss was a scene from The Notebook.” “Trust me, it was more like a scene from Aliens. 😆😆😆
Bottom Line- The drama is HIGH with this one, and there’re a couple of twists towards the end… the mc’s are very likable, and the meddling OM/OW’s were ruthless. Overall, I enjoyed it, and it’s a very polished/well written debut novel. I was super impressed… there was a great epilogue, so I’m rounding up. BUT 400+ pages were a bit much for me to deal with HS’ers, and I’m not a fan of secondary character plot blocking. I’m assuming she’s setting up future books, but I have book commitment issues, and these types of series don’t appeal to me. And I call BS on Mason’s uber hotness being disguised behind glasses and baggy sweaters… cuz even I can recognize the potential of this…
5 Superman and flower stars!! It’s felt like years since I read a book that I stayed up all night reading… a book that I tried to put down to get some work done… and I kept picking it up… a book where I kept thinking of the characters throughout the day. This story did that to me and then some. I need to collect my thoughts, but do not sleep on this book! I will be back for a longer review.
2.5 stars rounded up for what I did like and because the parts I didn't were very much personal reading likes/dislikes
For me personally, Flower had too much OTT drama and angst and I’m not really sure how I finished it in that sense. Some of it was typical high school drama and some reminded me of soap opera-level. I thought the writing was solid esp for a debut. I did like both main characters and they were both super sweet and hot together. I was rooting for them from their first intros and that drive to see them win out deepened with all the other stuff swirling around them. Each has their own version of a support system and each has experienced loss within their family. The H is jealous/possessive and not afraid to throw down over the h. She’s a sweetheart.
There is both ow and om drama happening, both are part of the angst throughout the book. The h's childhood sweetheart cheats on her and she catches him in the act. There are also side characters involved in various relationship dramas. The H is a virgin and the h is not and they talk about bc. The H has a friend who's in love with him, but he is obsessed with the h. They still have some push/pull because the h just ended a major relationship and the ex is still pursuing her and causing issues and then Some of these instances were hard to read.
The book does have a fantastic 10 year out epilogue that had me cracking up and was sweet. It does seem like side characters will get their own stories and one has a bit of a cliffhanger lead-in at the end setting up that friend's book (which also looks like it will have quite a bit of drama).
Triggers: bullying (not from the H or h), drugging, alcoholism of side character, discussion of deaths of loved ones
Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Trope: friends to lovers Angst: 😱😱😱😱 Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥
Sometimes a book comes along, you pick it up on a whim, and then are completely blown away. Everything about this story was fantastic - from the storyline, to the characters, the hysterical witty dialogue, and the overall REALNESS of it all. This story made me laugh out loud, shed some tears, and made my heart hurt. Absolutely wonderful and realistic scenes of sexual exploration between the two main characters. Warmed my heart and my c00chie 😂😂. This is absolutely an author I plan on following and I can't WAIT for the next story!!
Unexpectedly so good!!! I cried, I laughed, I swooned and everything in between lol. The drama in their friend groups was intense damn (kinda feel bad for Nate 😭). Mason and Ava were amazing. Also I loved Mason’s family. The book is so well written, the story kept me captivated throughout.
Wow!!! Flower is the debut of Jaclyn Combe and it was fantastic. I'm going to start by saying I rarely read HS books. One reason is that the genre has been filled with bullying books. While I can deal with the bullying if it comes from others, I can't deal with it if it's from either the H or h. The second reason is that I haven't been in HS in so many years that sometimes I just can't relate. Now Flower was a different story. Mason has been in love with Ava since Middle School, but she never noticed him, she's been in love with her childhood friend turned lover Logan. When she catches Logan cheating on her she is crushed but no matter what she is done and will not forgive him. At this point Mason enters and what starts out as a friendship turns to more. I loved Mason, he was just amazing, but I will say I never saw the twist coming and was honestly shocked. Ava was also wonderful; she was sweet and caring. Now after the twist there is some serious OTT drama that had me wanting to slap a bunch of people. The situation with Lyndsey shocked me and I really hope her book is next and honestly, I hope Nate isn't who she ends up with. The Epilogue was super sweet, and I will definitely be stalking this author for more books.
I don't usually read high-school romance. But I've seen this book recommended in the romance fb groups I'm in, and I said, "Why not?" Happy I gave this book a try because I ended up loving it.
The petty drama was on point. Every high-school stereotype was there, but you know what? It seems I was in the mood for that because I liked all the drama.
Some things were OTT, like everything that Lily has done. I can't believe people could really behave like that 😅.
Loved how much he loved her. His obsession was just perfect. He made some questionable decisions, but hey, he took the mathers in his own hands. Man with a goal and patience. In reality, I wouldn't agree with what he has done, but this is fiction, so I'll approve all those red flags 😂. That epilogue ... goals! That's how a good epilogue is written. I didn't want the book to end!
Hope the author will extend this into a series because I need her bff's book like yesterday.
Okay so this was a debut author and I was definitely pleasantly surprised! It was very well written. It was a typical YA plot line, with the heroine being a popular cheerleader at school and the Hero being a more nerdy "Clark Kent" type. Both had secrets that were revealed to the reader from the very beginning, but one of them had a secret I never saw coming! 4½ stars Edit: y'all the last 20-30% of the book was FIRE! So good.
What a fabulous book by this debut author! This novel is unique in that it features the Clark Kent type of hero. Mason is quiet and bumbling, wears baggy clothes and thick glasses. He’s a nerd who keeps to himself and eats lunch in the library. Ava, however, is a cheerleader, in the popular crowd, and eats at the most popular table in the cafeteria at lunch time. But when her boyfriend of three years cheats on her, Mason sees his opening, and they develop a new friendship while working together on a school project. This book is kind of dark, and had a few twists that really shocked me. I liked how the author takes a few tropes and puts a twist on them. Mild spoiler in the next sentence! For instance, Mason is an underground boxer, and when he has a fight (that’s not at all important to the fight), he actually loses. And–wait for it–it doesn’t matter. He’s beaten in the fight, he shakes hands with his opponent, and that’s that. In every other MMA/boxer romance, the hero is undefeatable. I loved this twist, and all the others that cropped up in the story. All in all, it was a great book, and I’m looking forward to reading more by this author!
I read the story in one sitting. I was sad when it was over. I loved that Ava was strong enough to leave the cheating boyfriend_Logan_ and acted exactly like how I wish every cheated on h would act. I hope the author won't write a book about Logan or I'll be pissed. He doesn't deserve a book.
The hero, Mason is, possessive, protective, faithful and obsessed with the heroine, Ava. Other girls didn’t exist and so it didn’t surprise me that he was a virgin. I loved Mason, he was just amazing, but I will say I never saw the twist coming and was honestly shocked.
The side characters are great and they made the book that much better. Mason's family is everything! Though I did guess that there was a secondary plot _there were hints_I still wasn’t sure until the end. Like there was something going on between Lindsay and Mr. Cross.
This story made me laugh out loud, shed some tears, and made my heart hurt. I would highly recommend this book and author.
WTF?! THIS BOOK IS SO INCREDIBLY GOOD AND DELICIOUS THAT IT PUT ME INTO A READING SLUMP. Like seriously, I don't think I can ever move on from Ava and Mason because these two literally own my entire heart and soul from the very first page. How am I supposed to move on after getting to know this amazing couple??? Never in my life, I could have ever imagined a debut book holding me hostage and I'm pretty sure that I will forever be under their chokehold.
First of all, who doesn't like popular girl x nerdy boy trope? That trope is top tier! N the fact that Mason has an unrequited love for Ava ever since they were 12 made it even better. Let me tell you, these two are clearly made for each other. I adore their chemistry and all their moments gave me such a high amount of buzz! My man Mason serving boy obsessed since day 1 and treating Ava with so much love and affection. Dear God, me when? I need a man like Mason Reynolds in my life. Whereas for Ava, she's literally the sweetest and a very strong character! If Mason wasn't in the picture, I would date her myself.
Overall, Jaclyn Combe is such a talented author for being able to create this masterpiece. I enjoyed every single second of it and I highly recommend everyone to read this story. I'm totally in love with the writing because the whole story was exquisitely written. Even the storyline was very interesting and engaging that I didn't even realize I have reached the epilogue. Not to mention the plot twist which I didn't see it coming. Jaclyn was a genius for that twist alone. This book was so addicting that I wanna reread it all over again. Anyways, I can't wait for the next book and I really hope the endgame couple will be the one that I'm hoping for.
P.S Sebastian Cross is mine. The moment I read his crumbs, I officially became his wife.
I personally think she was way too forgiving and easy on her ex 🤷♀️ also let me just talk about THE LACK OF CONTRACTIONS IN THE DIALOGUE 😭😭😭😭 it makes the writing seem so stilted and formal like I’m reading an essay or a historical. Example: I wave back, and Lily turns to me. “I will go with you.” “No, you are here now. I will quickly run and grab it.”
And another thing is I needed to see the H tell Lily to go fuck herself. All her crushing on him and trying to blackmail him and he doesn’t do anything about it? Annoying
I love this story. Mason and Ava are so cute together. The drama and angst is perfect. I love the secondary characters and I’m hopeful we will get books about my favourites.
Mason and Ava don’t run in the same circles. She’s a popular cheerleader dating a star footballer. He’s the nerd, standing in the background. Their paths should never have crossed.
When Ava’s life implodes she finds friendship in the one person she least expects it. Mason has always noticed Ava, and when an opportunity arises to finally get close to her he takes it. But Mason has a secret, one that could potentially destroy his new found relationship with Ava. Can Mason, keep the girl of his dreams or will it all be over before it starts?
I love how over the top Mason is. He’ll do anything, and I mean anything to make Ava his. I loved Ava and her personality. Her and Mason are perfect together and I loved the epilogue. I’m so curious about her friend Lyndsey and I want her story.
This story is full of drama, secrets, stalking, and heat. I loved this book! If you love OTT, obsessive and possessive guys, then definitely check out Flower.
Mason Reynolds fell in love with Ava Richards the first time he saw her that day in middle school. He’s quietly adored her in the background, waiting for her to notice him, for his chance to talk to her. But the hierarchy of high school drives a wedge between them; Ava is the high school popular girl, the untouchable cheerleader, dating her childhood friend, Logan, who happens to be the football star quarterback. Mason is labeled the “Nerd”, a “four eyed freak”.
“She doesn’t know that even though I hate football, I have gone to every game and sat in the bleachers just to watch her do her cheerleading routine.”
Then, it turns out that Logan is a piece of shit, and Mason, through a school project, gets his chance to get close to Ava.
“There isn’t a single sin I wouldn’t commit in making her mine.”
I loved Mason. He was a mature, thoughtful, quieter Hero. He kinda reminds me of an angrier Noah (Say You Swear) and I love Hero’s like that. With Mason you know that he’s going to do what needs to be done. There won’t be any games. A girl can rely on him. I love me a solid Hero.
“He seems to avoid everyone, but he also doesn’t appear to care. He has this air of confidence about him that I’ve always secretly admired, like he is content in this world and doesn’t care for high school politics and hierarchy.”
The way Mason stood up against Logan for Ava is too notch big dick energy. And the way he was with Ava’s body, was *sigh*
“ I may be inexperienced, but I will discover what sets her body on fire. I’m going to be the one to introduce her to the pure bliss that comes from a mind-altering orgasm, and when I do, I will make sure she feels it over and over again.”
Mason wants Ava and Logan won’t let go, and I was not disappointed with that action. This book hit all the right spots for dramatics, angst, possession and jealousy. My dark little soul loved it. But there was also more to the story than just that. There were beautiful parts filled with love and peace. There were also moments where you realize how much a person can change depending on how their life is at home, or what they’ve been through. It was a good time for sure, even though it felt like everyone was trying to break our couple apart.
I really, really hope that Jaclyn Combe writes more in this world. I NEED Grayson and Cadence’s story. And I can’t be left hanging when it comes to Lyndsey and Nate.
Outcast alpha nerd and popular h? H is a virgin and h is not?! Where are my glasses, hold my beer.
This book was good, but used the same old formula. Where they get together, are happy.. then H f up and h is all heartbroken/they separate and then get back together. Lately i like books where there is no separation after getting together.
Since i am spoiler w*ore and i would wanna know all...don't read if you dont wanna know the whole secret plot twist
(We learn that later, but) H makes a deal with OW, that OW gives h boyfriend extacy and seduces him, once his inhabitions are down. And then H told him to blackmail bf to cheat some more (or she tells h). Book starts when h catches bf in bed with OW at a party. They had 6 months affair. H and h get slowly together. Ex bf makes a lot of drama, wants h back. Now the major twist/drama. H female friend went crazy and wanted H also, she heard about his deal with OW and blackmails him to have sex. He does not. Ex, OW and female friend all gang up togerher, roofie H and set up it like H had sex with OW. h walks in and it is dejavu. H is devastated and dont remember anything, believes he cheated. Drama..2 week separation and OW comes clean (because she felt guilty). Hea

Emotional Loved this book, so glad it was recommended to me. Mason loves Ava so strongly he will do anything to make her notice him. We all would love a Mason in our life, I would.
Some of these people Lily, Logan, Hadley they just didn't care how they hurt people, ugh I wanted to slap them around. I hope we see Lindsay's story.
The words use and overall review shouldn’t reflect personally on the author or any other of her series and books.
3.5 FOR THE PLOT BUT ITS A 4 STAR AS ITS A DEBUT AUTHOR AND SHE DID PRETTY GOOD TO BE HER FIRST BOOK.
Wow I can't believe this is this author's debut book. Trust me when I say she wrote way better than other authors that had plenty releases. Congratulations are deserved.
Okay now let's talk about our leads. Our h is your typical perfect girl who think they aren't perfect because of mistakes their parents make. She had the perfect boyfriend and perfect friends, the perfect school life but once she stepped into her home things dramatically changed. I don't like giving spoilers so I can't say much more than that. Okay now to our H, he was the reason I definitely wanted to read this book. We rarely get nerdy cuties as H anymore, so I saw Nerd in the description of the book and was like sign me up (thank you Jaclyn for the arc). He was your studious student, with the perfect home life. He had two friends who were the school rejects, and he had a few secrets of his own. Now to the romance I can say this two were explosive, you definitely get those STEAMY SCENES with this couple. There's also plenty drama in this, you get those villains in this book. There is a plot twist by the end that you don't expect. This was overall a good read.
Okay now I have to also say what I didn't like, the book felt too long for being a series I think it could have kept shorter. As a standalone I would love the length but if this will have a continuation like I said a bit too long. Also felt my CK was giving a dark story to kept him cool in the eyes of the readers because that is the trend that is what is love now days. I expected a nerdy boy to be love just like that, a nerdy boy. No abs No dark things (I don't want to give spoilers). Okay that is all hahahaha
Congrats Jaclyn on your first release! This was a really good first book. Will note this review may contain spoilers.
Flower is Jaclyn’s debut novel about Mason and Ava during their senior year of high school. The book starts out with a prologue from Mason which gives the book st@lk3rish vibes and kind of dark. As you read the first few chapters, you find out Ava is a popular girl at school who gets her heart broken when her boyfriend Logan is caught cheating on her.
I loved watching Mason and Ava grow together as a couple. Their chemistry was strong, but I never would have seen Mason hurting her coming. There is a lot of OM and OW drama and some parts of this was really cliche. But overall, I liked it.
Saw this recommended on a group and thought it would be a change from my usual dark reads.
5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jealous possessive High school Both H and h are 18 years old Not normally my thing but nerd H and popular h. h isn’t stuck up and is going through a lot at home with an alcoholic mum and an absent dad. After finding out her boyfriends been cheating on her for 6 months Ava is paired with mason for an English paper. Full of twists and and good plot. Devoured this sweet but insanely hot book in a few hours. Written really well and pulled me in from start to finish. Love the chemistry mason and Ava had the scenes were hot 🥵 Need to find more books like this for when I’m in a slump Hope some of the side characters in this book get there own book 📚
This is an amazing debut for this author if the rest of her reads are like this I will definitely be reading more of her work in the future.
Where to start? There is just so much to say in this review. So let’s just start with the premise of this story. There will be some spoilers… but mostly ⚠️ safety squad spoilers.
Nerd hero- Mason- sees our popular heroin -Ava- in middle school and it’s insta love. His soul just knows she is his💕 other half.
🦸🏻Mason- Now Nerd may be harsh Mason is more of an outcast. He rolls to the beat of his own drum and he stays in the shadows 👀 watching one specific girl. He’s fit in shape, has tattoos, is into Kav magra, where glasses and baggy clothes. So he’s basically hot and smart and in shape but doesn’t care to be seen so he’s always overlooked.
🌸Ava- she beautiful, hot, popular, cheerleader and daring the football star. She also has a heart of Gold and is super sweet.
🕰Fast forward to senior year in High school and Mason obsession has only grew to the point of needing to finally be in with Ava and find a place in her heart but first he has to become part of her world.
Mason sets about making this happen…. Through very convenient circumstances the perfect storm is set and they end up being partners for a paper they have to write and that’s where our romance begins.
👩❤️👨The way these two had an instant connection and soooo much in common was beautiful to watch. Their relationship grows and flourishes organically. Their Banter is 💓🥰swoon. They just connect and get each other on a level neither has ever felt before. So we see the growth of their relationship and their journey but also lots of things that could threaten their HEA.
There is a lot to this story… we have… 😡The Ex boyfriend causing trouble. 👨👩👧👦 Family dynamics on both sides. 😵💫Crazy friends and all their drama and side drama. 😭Both characters have had to deal with loss in their lives. 🔥🔥🔥 Super hot sexy times filled with so much love and passion it was 😍. ❤️We have a V hero!!! 💕 I love this he was waiting for her and she had all of his firsts……it’s so swoon. The h is experienced but she never enjoyed it cause her ex was a D. The way she took control and helped Mason w their first time was so sweet. After this its all hot sexy time and Mason makes sure Ava is ALWAYS taken care of 🔥.
💓Mason is ALL about Ava. He will do anything for her and as far as he is concerned no other woman exists! 💓
😱There are some twists at out 70% mark. I wish it had wrapped up earlier and our couple had made up earlier. It was pushed to 95% and then bam epilogue. I wanted more time with the after effects and rekindling. I also would have liked to have more show and less tell at the end. I hate when books push everything to the very last pages. The epilogue was sweet and I enjoyed it. Would have just liked more. More future more wrap up just more at the end.
😤I wanted to see Mason deal with Lily after all the crap she pulled. Logans fall out for his actions.
⚠️Safety Squad⚠️ -No cheating- between H and h. There is a cheating scene in the very beginning Ava walks in on her BF having sex with OW during a party. He then becomes the Ex! -No OW/OM sex -OW drama - there is some…The H best friend loves him and likes to cause trouble. H is absolutely Not interested in her. OW drama with h ex. The girl her ex is banging causes problems for h out of jealousy. -There is talk of loss and death. -alcoholism and some minor child abuse. -drugging against will- roofie.
⚠️😢 cheating- there is a PERCEIVED cheating scene between H and h. Now I don’t want to spoil the plot 😬…. BUT there is absolutely NO cheating. Ava is it for Mason and vise versa. It could set off a trigger for anyone sensitive. But just know the party involved isn’t even aware of what’s happening. And in the end there is NO cheating or lines crossed 😅. I am sensitive and I didn’t see this a an issue.
I hope we get more of this group of friends side stories. I’m especially looking forward to Lyndsay! I hope there isn’t cheating or OW sex but I don’t have much hope as all their side stories had cheating and sex with others. I hope not cause I won’t continue if it does.
