No one really wants to be alone in the world. That’s what thirty-something Lisa realizes when she loses her mother. Seeing that she’s an only child, whose father walked out on her when she was a toddler, she often feels like it’s just her and God. When she meets handsome and single Tyrone Blake, their attraction to each other is almost instantaneous. Tyrone loves God’s word and so does Lisa. In fact, she’s a woman after God’s own heart. But nobody’s perfect — not even Lisa — which becomes brutally evident when a secret Tyrone’s carrying almost tears Lisa’s world apart. In the end, will Lisa’s quest for holiness, her love for God be the vehicle to all the love she’s been searching for?
You worked that storyline from beginning to end. Anyone having issues forgiving needs to read this book. Kudos Taretha on a faith-based Christian romance novel. Can’t wait to see what’s next!
Title: No Ordinary Forgiveness Author: Taretha Jones Publisher: Firstman Publications Series: Beyond Ordinary Book 1 Reviewed By: Arlena Dean Rating: Five Review: "No Ordinary Forgiveness" by Taretha Jones
My Assessment:
'No Ordinary Forgiveness' was a sweet Christian romance story featuring Lisa and Tyrone that dealt with 'forgiveness, redemption, and faith.' How Lazarus, formerly Henry, came up with this idea of getting his daughter back in his life with a few twists was indeed something to read. This author gives the reader a good read on how things can change when seeking God's will as He will 'work all things out for our good.'
If you are looking for an excellent sweet Christian read with romance, 'No Ordinary Forgiveness' will give it to you.
My goodness! This book needs to be made into a movie. Maybe the series together. It depicts struggles so real, the emotions it evokes are amazingly palpable. It had me laughing, crying sad and happy tears. It proves that with Gods help, relationships and all areas of our lives can be healed. That with God, all things are possible. Thank You, Ms Taretha Jones for this life-changing in a good way work of art you've created in the writing of this book.
Oh my goodness! This might be my first read by this author but fortunately I bought the whole set when it was on sale recently. The characters are relatable. I love Lisa’s character and would like my story to end like hers. Tyrone, my, my, my, I’ll just leave that right there and you’ll see why when you read the book. A Matthew 5:44 person is something to strive to become. I recommend this book.
This was a wonderful love story about forgiveness and faith. One thing I can say about Ms. Jones, when I read one of her books, I'm entertained and turn the final page feeling blessed. My favorite quote: "Sometimes when you play with God, he plays back." I hope Ms. Jones give us a book about Rhonda. She was a mess and then some.
This story was really, really good! I love how it shows that when we forgive, God can work all things out for our good. I reccomend this book to anyone looking for a great christian story.
A bunch of deceitfullness, all in the spirit of love. Talking about surprises, this novel is choked full of surprises. It also have good humor. You will laugh out loud. It's a good, fun, and easy read.
Really good story of God's love. Lisa was a good example of a woman after God's own heart. She found love , her father and another surprise. Can't wait to read more.
A question regarding finding true love or can it even exist without forgiveness and mercy? This storyline had captivated the essence of these Godly desired traces from His word. I truly appreciated reading this story.
This was such a great read! It reminded me that no one is perfect and that we should continually allow God to work on us. I was not expecting the plot twist, but it was definitely a good one. I can’t wait to read more from this author!
This book had me captivated from beginning to end. I found it difficult to put it down. Just finished reading it at 1:10 am. The characters were so relatable. I truly enjoyed the story.
A good read and reminder that forgiveness is not for the offenders but for the ones that were offended. It is not always easy to do but definitely freeing.
The twist at the end was not expected. Very good out come. If more of us myself included can become that Matthew 5:44 woman this world would benefit greatly.
Good News, Word! Inspirational writing, more like a lesson taught, expounded, proclaimed or evangelized. The romantic story was superbly written. Inspirational!
