This steamy paranormal romance novel is a standalone story with no cliffhangers. Some of the character names and backstory details have been changed from the first edition of this book.
Bliss Devlin works in high tech, likes sushi (and sashimi), and doesn't much care for modern art.
Readers have praised her work as "...a sizzling combination of hot sex and super sweet romance."
She draws inspiration from a childhood spent reading fairy tales, myths, and legends, and an adulthood spent living and traveling overseas. When not writing tales of erotic adventure, she travels, bakes gourmet delights, and hangs out online with an amazing group of smart, funny, sophisticated people.
*stand alone This is a must read people! I so fell in love with this story! You like imortal/shifters/magic? well you get it here. This is not the norm shifter story. It more imortal who shifts. if you're familiar with navtive american stories they are sort of like skin walkers.
Loved it! A novel full of suspense, shifters, love and old world rules and weapons. I couldn't put it down. Thank you Bliss Devlin and Ophelia Sexton for a great read!
A shifter romance running from danger and lucky enough to y he love & safe harbor!
Face and his team escaped a horrific fate at the very least delayed it. Shannon also only saw glimpses of the horrific violence of mankind on shifters will be scared for life. When she meets Rare and discovers more she really has to heal along with him. Fast pace action, twist and turns but like in life with love it sure is a hell of a lot easier. If you like special operations t?like Brotherhood Protectors you will like them s also.

Kindle unlimited purchase By Ophelia Sexton Shannon is running for her life. She has had the worst luck, but maybe her luck has changed. Who would have thought that being in an airplane crash would be lucky? Well, that's how her day has been. When Rafe smelled wolf shifters far from their home territory he knew something was wrong. When he smelled the blood of a young woman, he knew he had to save her. I enjoyed this book. I think it's a great start to what is going to be a great series.
I enjoyed the storyline, there is a little bit of drama and action going on that you want to get to the end result and see what happens. This was pretty fast paced and I was able to get it read quickly. I would have liked a little more interaction between the H and h, but that's just me and I still enjoyed reading this book. I am curious to see where this story goes and if they get the bad guy!
I really enjoyed this story! Very interesting and action packed. Secret government base, with shifters being made to serve the men their and a bear shifter who has fallen in love with a healer. She was kidnapped by them and brought to America. He saved her and, in the process, fell in love. Interesting twist on the world of shifters.
I have 5 🌟 because of the novel twist on the normal shifter stories. I liked the way the story was told. It had Good plot progression and character development. I also love happy endings.
I didn't expect to enjoy this book as much as I did. The story is well written and the characters are so interesting. I don't want to post any spoilers, but the ending was surprisingly. I recommend this series as I can't wait to read the next one.
Oooh great story, grabs you up and takes you along a interesting tale. A mid sized read for a voracious reader. A longer read for a normal reader. Fun and just slightly addicting you're going to want the rest.
Shannon manages to escape from WSS after the plane crashes. She finds bear shifter Rafe who swears to defend her against WSS. Both are being hunted by wolf shifters, the best warriors of WSS. Will they survive the hunt ?
This is a nice love story with plenty of action. The characters need a little more development along with some more world building. We know that these shifters exist, but we have no idea how mating works, or what really makes them shifters, or even their abilities. The same goes for our healer. Is she just a strong psychic who can manipulate molecules or is she actually using magic? It's all questionable and the story leaves a lot in the air.
I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series. This book to me was a teaser what is yet to come. It can be read as a stand alone as well as an introduction for the next book.
These authors were new for me. This was an enjoyable fast read, though I would have liked a little more character building or background. Hopefully there will be more information
This series shows many possible future stories. I enjoyed the Surprises that kept appearing at every turn. Thank you and I can't wait to see what comes next.
Ragnar is the were-bear who stumbles across her running and makes the impulsive decision to help her.
I was gifted with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, and switched to the Kindle Unlimited version when it was published. This was a fun, well paced story, with some really enjoyable world building and fun looks at our modern environment, which created a universe I would enjoy reading more stories in.
Sionann and Ragnar were great fun as leading characters, but equally important for me was the quality of their supporting cast, which included several characters I found myself wanting to get to know better, and hoping will get their own books. (Bjorn, Dag, Harold, and Erik Redclaw all come to mind.)
Arc review For honest review. Shannon is on the run from wolf shifters when she in trouble race comes to help her. This story has action, love, survival, and much more.
I love it when authors get together to produce a seamless product. This was an example of co-authorship perfection. But enough about that, let me rave about how much I adored Shannon. You know when you read a book and the author obviously loves the Irish a bit too obsessively and it comes out in the book as unreadable gibberish? Well this book definitely DIDNT have that problem. Sure Shannon was Irish, and you could tell she was by how the POV changed when it was from her perspective, but it wasn't unreadable with all that accent written out. It was perfect! Absolutely perfect and her Irishness didn't obscure her character at all! It was perfection. Read this for how Irish characters should be done.
