Too cute 🥰!! It's a sweet story about the friendship between Doggo, Pupper and Cat. Full of beautiful and calming sound good effects to put your little one down for a nap or bedtime. It has birds chirping, a special sound for the sun shining and makes rainbows sound beautiful as God created them. 🌈! Puppies and kittens playing in the backyard with purrs and little barks as Doggo and Pupper help Cat look for " cozy" from her old bed, then realized that her new bed had "cozy" all along.... just took a little bit of time to figure it out! Just right for little ones that are age 1-5. You'll enjoy playing the audiobook over and over( it's only 16 minutes long) as your child will love it!! 🐕🐶🐈🐾🐾💞

Enjoy and Happy Reading or listening to your audiobook 😀⚡💫✨

I know it's a trilogy, but I really hope we get more of these. Katherine Applegate is a brilliant writer. She ends each chapter with a funny joke. The illustrations pull their weight, too. It's just overall funny.

This early chapter book has everything going for it that I love in books for these audiences. The characters provide both appealing familiarity and yet distinctive personalities, the illustration style is a mature-cartoonish approach with a touch of sophistication that does not appear to be "too babyish" for older readers who need engaging materials to read that allows them to develop more sustained meaning and fluency. It is written by an author with other highly successful novels that underscore the authenticity and high-quality of this storytelling material.
The friendships convey, by analogy, that we can all get along even if we come from very different points of view (dogs and cats). The humor is effective in illustration, in extended text set-ups, and in one-line hits. Understanding of the slightly complex story is supported by short chapters with some subtle subplots, all of which build skills for more challenging non-illustrated text.
This is the kind of book that can be reread with added discoveries in that second (or third) pass, and the repeated readings enhance confidence and fluency in natural ways without drill-and-kill approaches needed.
The characters are winners and they appear in an extensive list of titles at varying lengths and developmental levels. The length of this book (90 pages), with its hard cover binding, makes it feel satisfy to early readers' hands, like a "real" book. Don't miss the last page of "cat tips" for napping!

First sentence: "Bad news," said Cat. "The humans had another idea." "Uh-oh," said Doggo. "Oh no," said Pupper.

Premise/plot: THE HUMANS HAVE BOUGHT CAT A NEW BED. Doggo, Pupper, and Cat spend the rest of the book searching for cozy. Cat is unable--unwilling--to sleep in his new bed. The friends talk about what makes something cozy. And they try to find something suitable... Doggo and Pupper decide that the old bed may be the only option. If Cat isn't sleeping, they can't sleep either. But is the old bed the answer????

My thoughts: I really LOVED this one so much. This illustrated early chapter book (early reader???) is so wonderful. But GoodReads says this is the FINAL book in a TRILOGY. How can this be???? Why???? I am not ready to say goodbye. Not polite at all to end the series when it is so good, so enjoyable.

I do recommend all three books. I love all the characters. It's a funny series for elementary readers.

Cat was given a new bed, but it doesn't have her smell, fur, or claw marks and is not cozy. Doggo and Pupper help her put fur and claw marks in the bed, but they cannot find cozy! After a very long night of no one sleeping, because Cat couldn't sleep, Doggo and Pupper decide to trick the humans and find her old bed in the trash. This early chapter book is adorable and funny, and the illustrations are youthful! Kids are sure to enjoy and adults will even chuckle at parts (particularly the scene where the perfect sleeping spot was the human's face). Katherine Applegate has done it again and created a book that kids are sure to love!

Another fun adventure for Doggo, Pupper, and Cat! The humans have a surprise! A new bed for Cat. But Cat does not want a new bed. It is not cozy. So Cat cannot nap -- which means no one else naps either. Can Doggo and Pupper find a solution to this tricky problem? Possibly -- but as always it might create new problems!
I especially enjoyed cat sleeping on the head of the humans. My cat certainly prefers sleeping by my head rather than on my feet! I also enjoyed the allusion to Goldilocks and the Three Bears!

Cat is upset. The humans have given her a present. Pupper thinks Cat must be crazy to be upset, presents are amazing. But the humans gave Cat a new bed that is missing its cozy and she can't sleep. Can they find a way for Cat to get cozy again?

Cat is so...cat. Doggo and Pupper are upbeat friends for Cat and very nice to her in her time of need. The ending is humorous, and the illustrations are fun. A quick graphic novel read for beginning readers who love animals and a touch of humor.

Cat got a new bed and she doesn't like it. It's missing the cozy, claw marks, and distinct smell that her old bed had. Without her old bed, she can't sleep. Will Doggo and Pupper be able to help her out?

This is a sweet story of friendship, where Pupper goes out of his way to help Cat be cozy and able to sleep again.

Children's graphic novel, early reader level. Cat has a problem-- her bed is missing and the humans brought her a new one! It may look the same, but it's not cozy. Doggo and Pupper, her canine housemates, try to help their friend. Love that it has both dogs and a cat and the humans are minor side characters. Cute, funny, cozy, a good read.

Hi the book was very good. It was pretty short so I rate this a four or three out of ten and it actually kinda looks like a show not gonna lie my favorite character in this is the cat and it actually seems funny that her name is just Cat. this is supposed to be chapter 3 and chapter 3 was actually better then I thought it will be.

What a fun read.
Not your typical cat vs dog book, but instead one of friendship and support.

the cat stuff is very much on point with how cats act and I'd imagine think.
the dogs are very much doggie in their behaviour.

Recommended read for grades 1-3

Not the best of the series, but I'm still sad it's the last. I will continue to read Applegate, of course, though I've not loved everything by her. And I really do hope that I can find more by the illustrator, Charlie Alder.

This is an excellent early reader/early elementary school series. They are fun. They contain chapters that build on each other (so a child feels like they are reading a story with chapters) and yet it's simple and very picture heavy.

92 pgs. Another great book in the series. Kids will enjoy this story which features Doggo and Pupper as they try to help the cat get his cozy place back after the humans take it away and replace it with fresh bedding. Cute and fun story kids will enjoy. Highly recommended for Grades 1-3.

Very cute. I especially liked the cat looking for a replacement bed and rejecting human feet as too hard, human tummies as too soft, and human heads as perfect.

Waiting for the next book in a series is far more exciting than waiting for your birthday or a special holiday. As the saying goes, a book is a gift you can open again and again. (attributed to Garrison Keillor) For early readers, those beings who are feeling the fire of story ignite in new ways, the return of beloved characters is like welcoming home our best friends. We can hardly wait to read about their new adventures and discoveries. Where will they go? Who will they meet? Will their new story make us laugh or cry or think about possibilities or maybe all of those and more?

Early readers and the books written for them are a joy to watch when they connect. As said in the previous posts, Early Reader Extravaganza and Early Reader Extravaganza #2, the engaging characters in these stories make lifelong bonds with readers. These characters stay with us for the rest of our lives.

For those of us who love canine characters, there is no better way to celebrate our shared experiences with them than through the laughter they provide and their special outlook on their lives and our lives. How fortunate we are to have within the past week two releases of the third book in an early reader series featuring dogs we cannot help but love. Doggo and Pupper Search For Cozy (Feiwel and Friends, an imprint of Macmillan Publishing Group, LLC, March 28, 2023) written by Katherine Applegate with illustrations by Charlie Alder is seven chapters of dog and cat logic destined to have readers smiling and laughing out loud before the final sigh at the end.

When Cat tells Doggo and Pupper that the humans have purchased her a new bed, they are excited, but Cat tells them that she misses her old bed, and will never be able to sleep again because her new bed isn't cozy. Doggo and Pupper do all that they can to hep Cat find cozy so she will be able to sleep again. A fun story about change, and slowly adapting to something different.
