An epic memoir, tracing one young woman's journey of mystical remembrance. When a fairly mundane event triggers an unexplainable phobia, her life is turned upside down in an effort to restore peace and find a healing balm to staunch the harrowing trauma. But the trauma is ancient and deep, ancestral and karmic, catalyzing a deep exploration of soul—past, present and future—to face and embrace into wholeness the truth of her shadowed wound.
From the mountains and jungles of Peru to the sacred hills and wells of Avalon, to a mysterious island in northernmost Scotland, the story is encoded with living myth, magic, and mystery. Filled with deeply relatable bouts of naivety, emotional struggle, and soul-shaping tribulation that often equally characterize both the spiritual journey and the human condition, each moment invites you deeper into an ancient future experience that spans, not only continents, but time, incarnations, and dimensional realities.
Poignant, provocative, and at times, painfully human, the story portrays a powerful alchemy of healing, synthesis, and becoming.
Diomira Rose D’Agostino is soul path mentor and guide, a metaphysical teacher of esoteric arts, soul astrologer, certified flower essence healer, spirit worker, and plant spirit ceremonialist.
Diomira is the author of three books: a spiritual memoir, Initiation: My Faery Soul Awakening and The Forest Speaks series, a young adult fiction fantasy series that seeks to share the magical and light-filled messages of wisdom from the Nature Kingdom.
Through workshops, retreats, and books, Diomira's work aims to bless, uplift, enchant and ultimately help humans "remember."
For me, this whole book was one long held breath to see whether the author would "remember" her connection to the world of Faerie, the Otherworld. Hopes along her journey are repeatedly raised and dashed. It is a book about the roller coaster journey of persistence when one is determined to reach the goal of remembrance, despite what "lurks in my past", the "shadow realms of my psyche and soul". It chronicles D’Agostino’s dramatic journey through her fears, until her instruction in faery magic begins. You will vicariously experience a real-life journey as this human is finally blessed by awakening to her faery path!
You’ll want to rip through this - but meant to be savored!
Exquisite writing that’s a combo of travelogue and spiritual memoir with a fantasy vibe (but it’s true life!) and deep message from Gaia in these intense times.
Perfect for an entertaining read, if you are faery curious or if your faery soul is ready to be touched and furthered awakened. It awakened deeper spirituality and connection to the Earth within me.
Highly recommend! Can’t wait for the next book in the series.
