Irredeemable is the new title for Cutter. No content has changed.
One year … All he asks for is one year of my life to clear out all the dirt, the muck, the messed-up way of thinking that makes me splice myself open for relief. One year of no Rani, no Pinnacle heirs, no reminders of the past, and all I have to do is say yes.
Just yes.
It’s stupid. I know better. To say yes means there is never a chance to say no. I won’t control anything in my life, least of all how I live. This one word utterly takes over, and I no longer know where to turn for help. My release, my painful savior the blade, is now gone. All that remains is Demari Sestra.
He always gives me a chance, a moment before the darkness to walk away. I can, I know it, but I never do. It leaves no one to blame but me.
Rani, I once warned you the world would break you if you let it.
Maybe I should have followed my own advice.
Note from the authors: Irredeemable was previously published as Cutter and no content has changed. While Irredeemable can be read as a standalone, the pieces may fall in place easier if Irrepairable is read first. Unlike Irrepairable, this is not a reverse harem, academy, or bully romance. Simply put, Allie's story is dark, twisted, and might make even the darkest hearts cringe. Remember this: most topics in the book are real-life occurrences and will evoke strong feelings. Proceed with caution and know you have been warned.
Writing professionally since 2008, LeTeisha Newton’s love of romance novels began long before it should have. After spending years sneaking reads from her grandmother’s stash, she finally decided to pen her own tales. As many will do during their youth, she bounced from fantasy, urban literature, mainstream, interracial, paranormal, heterosexual, and LGBT works until she finally rested in contemporary romance.
LeTeisha is all about deep angst and angry heroes who take a bit more loving to smooth their rough edges. Love comes in many sizes, shapes, and colors, as well as with—or without—absolute beauty and fairy tale sweetness. She writes the darker tales because life is hard … but love is harder.
This story broke me..and then put me back together again. There are many triggers in this book so please follow the warning. People are referring to this book with the abuse being horrible and scary, and it is. But when I read this story I feel Allison's pain and anguish over what she has endured. But I also feel hope for the good people in this world, like Demari, because he see Allison beyond that and sees her potential. And I see Allison as having a future if she just faces her past and deals with the little girl and the monsters The storyline has dark, dirty, and very serious moments. But the focus is not on the abuse, the focus is on hope, love, and good family. I felt angry at times, reading this book, but the I felt the caring and passion of Allison's chosen family. They protected her and fought for her and lifted her back towards the good. I felt so much love in this book that it made me literally cry. Well done ladies! 6 beautiful bright stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
What can I say, this book is a very dark read. Allison has a horrific past which she quite can’t remember all that has been done to her and what she does remember leads her into a disturbing behavior of cutting.
Demari is her boss and he wants her for one year to help her remember her past, face her fears, and hopefully cure her of cutting. The question is will she let him?
I so cried when she remembers everything in her past and leaves me wishing I could protect all children from sexual abuse and stamp out all sex trafficking and make them all pay!!!!! This book in the end has a HEA for Allison and that makes me smile! She deserves it and more!
If you like dark and can handle triggers, this is your book; but please, PLEASE heed the warning and enter at your own risk. This book is dark, almost pitch black but in such a different way.
I will admit, freely and honestly, it took me quite a long time to finish this story because I had to put it down, multiple times. Its raw, its real, its dark, but it's also is beyond beautiful.
I LOVED the first book in this series, Irrepairable. It was my favorite read of 2019. This story is just as wonderful, but also completely different.
In this story we get a more in-depth look at what Allie has been through and how it has impacted her life and psychology. The darkness in this book comes from that place. The darkness a person can go through, can survive in, and the darkness one carries with them after such experiences. I cried reading the book (many times in fact) because I wanted to hold Allie, explain to her she is worth more then her mind tells her, more then she has been treated and I praise Demari for his help.
Without giving anything more away, let me just say this book is focused on Allie and her path to becoming whole once again. The path is not easy, or nice, or clean, or friendly, or light, I caring, or pleasant but it is worth it. So very much worth it.
As much as I loved Rani and her men, Allie and Demari have stolen my heart. This book may be set in the same world but it is beyond book one in so many ways.
Utterly Beautiful. I received an ARC and I am leaving an honest review. I also bought this book and will be getting the paperback as well.
Raw despair volition and evil was Allison Masters life. This book won't be for everyone please read the warnings and triggers before reading. Although many times I found myself unable to hold back on Allie's past as it is revealed its beyond dark in parts. As the title suggests Cutter is a book about Allison and how she has tried to cope with her demons that still effects her today through her actions and conditioned behaviours that have enabled her to survive so far. Demaria Sestra offers Allie a 12 month contract to which she must turn herself to Demari total control to him so he can help her to heal from her past and her current downward spiral. Like a 12 step program of sorts. After much consideration Allison signs the legal binding non disclosure contract. Suddenly her life is not her own removed from the outside world she finds her hidden secrets and discovers the truth behind the lies. This is a very dark at times disturbing read through Allison Masters and her journey to what she hopes will be a better life.
Cutter, co-written by LeTeisha Newton and Ginger Talbot is an all consuming, enthralling and at times, utterly heartbreaking read. It is set in the world of the Pinnacle Heirs but Irrepairable doesn’t need to be read first to enjoy this story.
It is a glimpse into a world of pain and anguish, and into a mind, shattered by trauma, abuse and self-harm.
The story centres around the beautifully broken, Allison. Allison is fierce and protective of the ones she loves, whilst also being ravaged by self loathing and very unique desires. Demari, solid, quietly dominating and scarily all consuming, appears, offering Allison things that she doesn’t truly believe she can ever have. Peace, acceptance and an end to her addiction. What lengths will she have to go to, to achieve her goals? And what does Demari get in return?
The writing in the story is clever and broaches harrowing trauma sensitively. It was at times, deeply sensual and alive with passion whilst other parts of the story left me feeling bereft and heartbroken for our characters.
Allison's story is painful Beyound anything I could even imagine, the darkness locked away is raw and real and will break you as we get to enter her thoughts and see all the horrid dark of her past and why she is the way she is so prepare it's not an easy story my heart hurt for her so much to the point of tears as she enters Demari Sestra program I have to say I loved him every single part of him and the way he handled the situation was not easy but everything all at once. I loved seeing the Rani and Momma and the Pinacle Heirs they were a huge part of Allison's life. Their are so many truths and lies uncovered you can see it in your head while your reading the writing is amazing and very detailed and I really liked taking the journey with Demari & Allison though it's not an easy one but one worth fighting for to the very end.
Beauty Comes From Pain, I think that is what I kept telling myself while reading Cutter, To say that this story was rough would be the understatement of the century. LeTeisha Newton and Ginger Talbot tackle some pretty deep dark topics in The Pinnacle Heir series. I connected with Allie more than I have connected with any other character I've read to date, so reading the pain she went through was like I was FEELING her pain. I love the twists and turns throughout the entire book and being able to catch up with Rani and her men was the cherry on top of a perfectly imperfect story about healing and love.
Wow this one was a very intense read. Allie this girl I don't know how she became the woman that she was even with that dark past that to be honest I need to read the first one of this series to grasp what she went through. But the pieces I saw of her in this story were dark and very hard parts to see and hear. I like that even with the problems and all the darkness she was still a caring and loving person to put others before her own needs. I'm glad that she could tell her story and find that happiness that she so much deserved to have.
Allie has A LOT of demons to face. Lucky for her, or maybe not so much, Demari is there with his version of a 12 step plan to guide her through. Not gonna lie I felt like I walked off the edge of a plank, and was free falling through a spiral of emotions. Hatred. A burning rage. Utter despair. Glee. Madness. An absolute melee of all the things a human should feel, but in such a short amount of time that I was crashing. And it was INCREDIBLE. We got to reunite with Rani & the Pinnacle heirs, learn how their stories all really intertwine. Definitely dark. Like DARK.
If you are sensitive to darker romances this is not the book for you. There are sensitive subjects in it. Cutter was very well written. I was so happy that LeTeisha and Ginger decided to write another book about the Pinnacle Heirs and their lives! As a cutter i could see some of the things that were written about. I absolutely enjoyed this book and totally recommend it!
This was a intense, heartbreaking, addictive read. I like my books dark and this one didn't disappoint. Demari and Allie had amazing chemistry. You will feel raw by the end because the authors did an amazing job making you feel for Allie and everything she's endured during her life. A great book!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the second book in the Pinnacle Heirs book and for best enjoyment, I do recommend reading them in order. Demari and Allie’s chemistry is off the charts hot. The story if fast-paced and intense and may cause triggers for some. Amazing characters with lots of layers and a story with lots of drama, emotion and twists and turns. I loved it!
Spoiler warning. It started off strong. I liked the dive into Allison’s past. However, I felt like the author lingered too long on the heavy parts when more time could have been spent on developing Demari’s character. By the end of the book I still didn’t know much about him other than he was attractive and a successful business owner with a sister who experienced trauma. Okay. But that doesn’t give him depth or a range of feelings...it was fluff. Also, I’m open minded but the heavy moments lingered over pedophilia. Now I’m not knocking the author for tackling a taboo topic; however, a large portion of the story was Allison re-experiencing her father and others sexually abuse her as a child. Those scenes were more developed than other scenes outside of Allison’s “treatment.” I guess I’m more so concerned why the author chose to do this...plus the ending was really cheesy and felt rushed. I was left feeling like “why did I read all that trauma just to get a lame ending”
Addictive … that’s the first word that comes to mind as I remember opening this book and promptly being sucked in.
It’s SO REAL, as someone who sadly can relate to Allie a bit too much and is very familiar with some of her inner dialogue … yet it still manages to serve as an escape at times, though I’m not sure that makes sense. It had the ability to both put me back IN some of the situations, but also view them from the outside. I’m not sure if that makes sense either but the writing is profoundly powerful.
Anyone with demons in their past: if you can get past the violence and manage to not be triggered by what is some very sensitive content, in other words: IF YOU LET IT, it can be mind-opening, even helpful, at times, to experience Allie’s immersion therapy. Her delving into her own suppressed memories, confronting them, working through them and then finding a way forward is completely inspirational.
So it manages to be an extremely powerful, thought-provoking experience while providing more insight into the Pinnacle world and introducing all that is Allie. Masterfully done.
The ending was predictable but it fits well with the people involved and again just have to admire the brilliant writing, as I did many times. (Yea, I literally had to just stop and appreciate it at times throughout.)
Cover: Professional and very fitting. Editing/proofing: Overall good. A few incidents of a misplaced tense or missing letter or punctuation but none of this was abundant nor served to distract from the reading experience. No continuity issues noted within this book itself or for the Pinnacle Heirs world overall. Very well done. 4.5 stars.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Be sure to check out the newer cover! I find it fits Allie's story a bit better.
The brilliant and super dark authors Ginger and LeTeisha have provided us with another book in the Pinnacle Heirs series, reading Irrepairable is not a must to read first but it does introduce you to some of the characters in Cutter giving you a better insight, although the storylines are totally opposite. This is a dark story brutal and painful it both flows seamlessly and is utterly addictive, the characters were interesting pulling me into the story and yes you have to be brave to enter into this one, I’m addicted, however if you have triggers heed to the warnings there is depravity, pervertedness, incest and rape but amongst all that a love story evolves between Allie the abused and Demari the saviour. Throughout I was amazed how Allie survived her horrendous childhood locking it away but the only way to go forward was to face her demands full on and Demari was there to help her and see her through. I’m not giving away any spoilers, you make up your own mind but I absolutely loved the book and 5⭐️Is definitely not enough. I was given this as an ARC by the authors in exchange for a voluntary honest review which I was happy to leave.
This book is dark and really twisted. Trigger warnings should be included for sure: physical, mental and sexual child abuse, trafficing, insest and self harm are some of the main ones. Allie is our fmc and she's been through hell and back and her way of coping is by cutting. And her boss - Demari, the mmc - catches her in the act. He offers his help and demands control over her for an year. The methods he uses are questionable and it would have been good to consult with a therapist or a psychiatrist for it - I don't think healing happens like that. Other issue of the process of healing is her gaining her self worth, which is great, but starting at less than zero, he was trying to show her she deserves good things and she's worth it, and when she couldn't believe he was like - look at me, do you think I would help someone that's not worth it?
Their relationship shouldn't have happened when it did. And don't let me start on the last two chapters - he forced himself on her. I know she loved him, but she said so many times 'no' that it made me hate him (how is he different from her previous abusers!?!).
At the end I think she just needed some time and space to center her life around herself, not another person, but even her closest people didn't give her that. And I really hate the ending (not the epilogue but before it) because instead of being there for her and patently wait for her, support her and show that he's in her corner no matter what, because that's what healthy love is, and that's what she needs, he just makes her choose him, and not only that but do it right now.
I can't say I enjoyed it because of the topic and I can't say I liked it because of the things I listed, but I guess it was OK.
This book is so good but fair warning it's very dark. I would recommend to read Irrepairable first. Irrepairable is a reverse harem, bully, and college romance. The characters from both Irrepairable and Irredeemable are the same. This book is about Allie Masters. Allie and Rani were pulled out of poverty in Irrepairable. Now, Allie is struggling. Allie doesn't think she belongs and is fighting the darkness from her past. Allie's past was alluded to but not in great detail. In this book, Allie recounts her past in graphic detail. Allie's past is beyond horrible. Alli's past is what some readers will have trouble getting through. To get to the root of Allie's problems it's very dark and disturbing. I didn't really see how Demari was helping Allie, especially at first. The things Demari was doing seemed self serving and ridiculous. I don't really see how anyone can really get over what Allie went through either. Demari told Alli if she gives him 1 year, he will take all of her broken pieces and put her back together. Doesn't Alli have to put all of her broken pieces back together? "Deep inside you, I want what's in there. What no one has touched, not even you. Let me have her. I want what belongs to me not others." Alli's been pretending her whole to be a doll and dolls don't feel. I feel like Alli traded her addictions for another, Demari. Is love the same as addiction? Was that Demari's intention? I did enjoy the book but it's heartbreaking.

This is in intensely intriguing emotional dark romance.
This is the second book in the Pinnacle Heirs series and while it's not necessary to read Irreparable (book one) to understand this story I believe you should read it before reading this book. It just brings the story together better in my opinion.
Allie is still just barely living from day to day after everything that has happened in her life. She cuts herself to cope when things get to difficult. Allie tries to separate herself from Rani so that Rani can have the HEA she deserves with her men. In doing so, Allie starts working for Sestra Holdings, Inc. She then finds herself being targeted by the same type of predator from her past and she feels herself slipping back into her old routines. Then while cutting herself to cope with the stress she is caught by Demari Sestra, the owner of Sestra Holdings. She thinks he's going to fire her, but instead he offers her a deal; give him one year of her life and he will make sure she never cuts again. But what does he want in return? He says he wants nothing, but Allie has learned no man can be trusted. Will Demari cure Allie of her obsession to cut? Or will he make her obsessed for something far more frightening???? This is an intensely intriguing dark romance, that is definitely not for the faint of heart. I was drawn in from the very beginning and couldn't put it down until the very last word was read!!! Definitely a must read for all dark romance lovers out there!
Irredeemable is the second book in the Pinnacle Heirs series. The world of the Pinnacle Heirs and the Sestra Holdings is one that few know and could even comprehend. The authors do a great job bringing that world to life and taking us into that world. The characters' remarkable development and a storyline full of grit and drama contribute to that.
Irredeemable is a very dark romance story that takes the couple involved, Demari and Allison, from dark into lightness. However, the story is not for those who cannot fathom the harsher realities that some people have to suffer through and still live. Survival mode is a thing, and Allison's story really provides insight into how living in that modality can impact a person's mind and state of being.
With all of its darkness, Irredeemable is a phenomenal story that ends with hope because of Demari's love for Allison and the intricate bond that the Pinnacle Heirs and the Sestra families have with one another.

If you have triggers, be careful when reading this book. This story is DARK, so very dark. The pain and horror Allison endured went way past my ability to comprehend. Yet through the darkness, we see love and hope and acceptance.
Allie comes from a background with a criminal, perverted father and a totally cowed and psychologically bereft mother. Her terror began in her childhood, way before she became a teenager. How do you cope with emotional depravity, unyielding sexual training and severe punishments? What do you do when pain becomes too hard for your mind to handle? Allie found relief through cutting.
Demari coaxes Allison into a contract for 1 full year. A contract that would hopefully stir her forgotten memories and free her from her past traumas; a contract that would allow her to overcome her buried pain and live a new life full of forgiveness and love. It would be a contract that will free the beautiful, inner Allison. All she has to do is accept!
Judging by the title, I figured this would be a dark read; however, it was far darker than I expected (I should have known since I've read several of Ginger Talbot's stories). 'Cutter' includes physical abuse, incest, and self-harm. Allison's story is beyond tragic. When Demari comes into her life, he presses her to sign a contract to be his for a year, during which he will help her recover from her past, though his methods are shocking and difficult to read sometimes.
I cannot say I enjoyed this story just because it was so brutal, but it was well written and I was happy with the HEA. One note - this is book 2 in a series and while it's a standalone, I still felt like I was missing something since I hadn't read the first book. There were frequent references to other characters, and I didn't have their full back stories.

This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I have to admit that I finished this book a week ago, and I didn’t know what I wanted to say in a review. At first, I thought the storyline was a bit much. The more I thought about it the more I admitted that this is the reality of some women. For that reason alone I think it was an important book to read. Even though there are the darkest of triggers throughout the book, I wasn’t left with a heavy feeling after reading it. I was left in awe of the human spirit and everything that Allison endured, fought and overcame.
As always, Newton and Talbot delivered a book that was incredibly well written. I loved how we slowly learned of Allison’s past and how she hid the truth from herself in order to survive. As a reader, be prepared to really feel the emotions of the characters – the fear, anger, love, frustration, hate and many more. The story is brutal, but worth every minute of the read.
I don’t know where to start with this review. I read the first book before reading this one as it was recommended and it helps make sense of Allie and Rani’s situation, this book does have a lot of triggers so isn’t for someone that doesn’t enjoy a darker romance. The storyline and writing in this book were phenomenal, everything from the dialect to the characters and I was drawn in from the very beginning. I loved Allie’s character in book 1 so I was glad to be able to see what made her such a great independent fiery woman. Demari is a dominant alpha but he was very respectful and wants to help Allie with her demons. This book had me feeling so emotional as you’re taken along on Allie’s journey, I cried when it made me sad but then cried when it made me happy. Again I will say there are a LOT of triggers especially mental and physical abuse. I read this book as as ARC. I also read this book under its newer title ‘Irredeemable’
WOW! This story gutted me and broke my heart. Allison’s story is very dark, twisted, raw, gritty, depraved and utterly painful. My heart broke for her with all the pain that she was going through. I cried with her and I got angry with her. I wanted to hold her and comfort her to make the pain and memories go away. This story takes you on an emotional rollercoaster ride not knowing if your going to survive it.
Everything about this story was phenomenally well written. The emotions and pain that these two amazing authors weave into their words immersed us readers into a world that not many experience firsthand. Their words had such power to them. It had me shocked and gutted feeling like my heart would not mend.
Demari & Allison’s story will forever be in my mind and heart. This is one story I will never forget. It was utterly exceptional!
‘Cutter’ is the second book in the Pinnacle Heirs series. ‘Irrepairable’ gives us glance of Allie’s life but this book cuts right into it deep. There are triggers in this book for some, such as incest, rape, child sex trafficking. If it is too much then move on, but if you can handle such topics this book is so much more. It delves in the psyche of the abused. I felt so much for Allie through her experiences. Can someone so damaged looking for love all of her life truly find real love? You’ll have to read it to find out. I enjoyed it sooo much I cried. It takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride that you won’t want to get off of. I would love to see a third book, possibly about Valentina. This give you a little sliver of her but now I’m craving more.

When I first started reading this book, I felt lost not knowing some of the background. Once I got through that part and really got into the storyline with Allison and Demari, I was hooked. Yes, this an extremely dark twisted read with sick and perverted situations. While I wanted to know more about Demari’s character, we still get a feel for him. Allison is such a strong damaged character, it was amazing to see her come out on top. While it was an unorthodox method to help her heal, it was interesting to read. I thought about my daughter the whole time reading this. She use to cut not for the same issues that Allison did thank goodness! Overall great read despite the dark topic. I can wait to read book 3 in this series as well as going back to read book 1.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book.
This is a dark and emotionally impacting story that takes you down a rabbit hole of heartache and misery. You cannot feel anything but sorrow and shame while reading this. Shame on the people who are supposed to love and protect, shame where there are animals who don’t think people have value. But on the flip side family is not thru blood but thru experiences and love. They are who we let in and allow in our lives. I was fascinated by these authors who can tell such a moving and emotional story in a way that leaves you thinking and wanting to make a difference. Well done ladies.

I have to say, I liked the first book in this series much better. This one is a lot of inner dialogue and trauma regression, not to say that's a bad thing, it's just not MY thing. It's written well and Allison is a strong character but I didn't really connect with D.
This is a very dark read and if that's not your thing I would say pass on this book. It's very descriptive of sexual child abuse and will be triggering for some readers. If you can handle that then this is a good read for you, as I said while it might not be my cuppa, it's still written very well.
5 Stars for a Heart-wrenching Dark Story! This was a fabulous book with so many extreme emotions. It is immensely dark and I found myself cringing at times. Wondering how in the world this could ever turn out to be a HEA. It was definitely a page-turner. I loved Demari Sestra and Allie's story. There is a lot of back story that is so important. Demari is handsome beyond words and Allie, although gorgeous, is beyond broken and I wondered if she could ever be fixed. Read it today, I would also read Irrepairable first to get the entire story.
