Micah and Nora's story was very sweet. A grumpy mountain man comes across a beautiful angel wrapped in gold in the snow after having fallen down a mountainside.
He takes her home and the temptation and want is off the charts. But will she stay with him on his mountain? His fears and insecurities take over and he must decide if he will take the chance. Thank goodness for Nora's tenaciousness!

The story was sweet between one curvy influencer and one grumpy loner mountain man. Though throughout the books the H mentioned some characters from its prequels, this book could be read as standalone. The story went when Nora, curvy influencer, attempted to make a new (unique) post in snowy mountain. Since she was a body positivity influencer and embracing the curves and all, of course she needed to post with a sheer wardrobe that emphasized her curves. Right?! Unfortunately the universe said otherwise. A small avalanche happened. Fortunately, the universe sent him a knight with scowling armor to save the day. He took her to his cabin. So what happened next?! Sparks fly? Would the universe succeeded in making these two unlikely couple together, together?

I liked the story how the two unlikely couple met. It had good plot starter with good smutty line following after. Plus, the characters in the book was strong. I liked how both had ghosts from their past. The h was strong independent one, who was vulnerable in the inside but she tried her hardest to overcome her troubles. The H was kinda alpha but he kept doubting himself. This was a short book but it really had a good back story and all.

A mi estos libros me parecieron raros. Las mujeres son diferentes y tratan otros temas aunque siga siento insta-love y toda es vaina, pero faltó tratarlo mejor. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I actually preferred the other two books. This one felt even more rushed and to be honest I am not a fan of the FMC. She is so pushy and when he „couldn’t function“ she only thought about her ego. Meh. I really liked him and the dog. Would have loved him with a high energy but softer women. Still I liked that she is a big girl and I appreciate the way this series paints them.

Respeta la voluntad de Nora de exponerse y también su rapidez para disculparse cuando parecía que estaba acosando a Rhett.

La obscenidad fue mínima, sin muchos detalles y todo fue rápido, similar a los dos primeros libros.

Todo fluyó bien y sin duda Rhett y Nora son mi segunda pareja favorita, después de Asa y Poppy.

Me gustaría que todos los libros fueran más largos, con más detalles en sus escenas obscenas.

What a great book

Rhett, and Nora were destined to meet. Both with issues from the past. Both had feelings of inadequacies. Her from body image bullying, his from coming from the poor side of town, and never feeling good enough. She handled her problem with counseling. He just buried his anger and faced the world as an angry man who was happy to always be alone. When he finds her unconscious in the snow he saves her life, and she in turn saves him I loved how it ends.

So cute

So I really like this entire series & was eagerly waiting for Rhetts story...I did like it don't get me wrong, it just fell a bit flat for me. I loved the first two. However I still recommend reading this entire series without a doubt! Who doesn't love a big growly mountain man.

first off

I’m glad that authors like Cassie Mint here are bringing more awareness to mental health bu including them in their stories. It’s still hot and steamy af but the albeit brief discussion on past trauma was a welcome change to the usual pure OTT smut I’ve read. The author balances it out well.

Found by the Loner

Ok I read all three of these books in this series and I absolutely loved them!!!! Hallie Bennett definitely knows how to write about real life lessons because I felt like she was writing about me in each of these women and even a few instances some of the men…. Very well written and definitely hot steamy bedroom scenes!!!!!

I read this whole series and it just wasn’t for me. It’s all VERY cute insta love which I enjoy but I’m usually a dark romance reader and this just didn’t do it for me. If you like a shorter story, nothing crazy in the spice, and just something cute and sweet this would be a perfect read or a good intro into reading spicer books!

Why is Highschool Kids So Mean?

I was teased in school as well. It hurt but I got over it. Tes yohe girls who teased me are now friends of mine on Facebook. But it does hurt and it changes you. My love life did not work out. Thank-you Miss Hallie Bennett for showing what teasing and bulling can do in the long run. You have to help yourself out of the turmoil.

I love how it’s a story about two people who have had past trauma that are getting the help they need to work on themselves but also letting it confirm their relationship as well! The epilogue la don’t really say they’re married but I’m going to believe they are!

I enjoyed that they both had image issues, but (largely started by Nora) they both worked through them together (with - as it mentioned at the end - a little help from a therapist).

Snowed in, forced proximity, leads to hot hot hot times and a HEA (even featuring Rhett’s brother and bestie plus their partners and children). 😃

Lonely hearts

I enjoyed these shorts about 2 brothers and their best friend. Rhett and Nora prove that two people can be completely different in lifestyle, but have what it takes to make an emotionally strong and loving relationship. How can you resist muscles, flannel and a beard? Gotta love a mountain man!

Sweet ending

I knew Rhett would be a dominate from the get go. So glad he had his angel to show him to the light. Love Nora fighting her insecurities and Rhett, stoic, grouchy, responsible Rhett, mmmm…the things he says when he’s all in. Loved the three book series.

Rhett finally gets his story!!!! Great fun fast read where Rhett rescues a young woman during a snow storm that traps them in his cabin. Rhett decides that he might take a chance if Nora convinces him it could be worth it to both of them!!!!

Best of the bunch.

This is my favorite of the trilogy. Rhett is a grumpy butthead and dominant in the bedroom; Nora is funny as all get out and just cute as a button. Of the three books this is the fantasy I’d love to live out.

This one was my favorite out of the three in this mini series. Rhett just seemed like such a great grumpy guy. Love that the fmc was confident and was in therapy for self image and trauma. That was actually refreshing instead of the mc hating herself all the time.
