The rabbit is nonbinary. Take this as a recommendation or a warning, but be aware that this board book is a talking point about this subject, not just an introduction to The Year of the Rabbit and basic Lunar New Year traditions.

Quick over-view of the characteristics of someone born in the year of the rabbit (2023 and every 12th year before and after). Nice introduction to the Chinese zodiac

It's Your Year, Baby Rabbit is a really cute and charming picture book. The story is simple and easy to read, which makes it great for younger readers or for reading aloud together. It has a warm and cheerful tone that fits perfectly with the celebration of the Year of the Rabbit.

One of the best parts of the book is the artwork by Ariel Hsu. The illustrations are absolutely adorable and full of soft colors and fun details. Every page feels lively and inviting, and Baby Rabbit is especially lovable. The artwork adds so much personality and warmth to the story that it makes the book even more enjoyable.

Even though the story is short and straightforward, it does a great job of feeling comforting and positive. The simple writing style keeps it engaging without being overwhelming, making it perfect for beginning readers. Overall, this is a sweet little book with beautiful illustrations and a gentle story that makes for a fun and cozy read.

I started getting this book series because this is the year my first child was born. I find the art to be cute with bright colors and simple illustrations perfect for this age range. The concept is showing typical traits associated with the zodiac and lists the different elements by years. A simple and adorable introduction.
