As always, The World Almanac is my favorite resource for keeping up-to-date with happenings on our planet. It's handy to have it available to check out astronomical info, holiday dates, winners of notable awards, and the populations and areas of countries and states and cities. And my skim through the book, page by page, always yields interesting tidbits and helps me recall the important events of the last 12 months.
