This is a lovely book. The stories are a lovely devotional speaking to the existence of miracles. I also appreciate the short bios of the contributors at the end. Pick this book up when you don't think you will need it because we all have times when we do. Or give this book to another as an excellent life affirming gift.
I love Chicken Soup books to read at night before bed because they are (for the most part) positive stories that help me go to sleep in good state of mind. I can read one or more stories (they're very short, some of them only two pages.) And if I don't pick it up again for a while, I don't have to go back to see what I forgot. I also like the Meet the Contributors section. It's nice to get to "know" the authors a bit, and if they have other writings listed I can research that, and perhaps find a new favorite author. I especially liked this book because I love reading about miracles and answered prayers. I look forward to my next read.
I loved all these heart-warming short stories of unbelievable experiences - so life-affirming, uplifting, inspirational. I learned I was not alone in having unbelievable experiences, that many others have them, too, and maybe I don't need to hide them for fear of ridicule. Experiences to be treasured and always remembered.
So many wonderful shared stories. I love hearing and reading about people and their unexplained miracles. As well as their prayers hope, love and divine intervention. These short stories will warm your heart and soul. Also is a wonderful gift for someone that may need to read about faith, and determination.
