The Fifth Installment of the Addicted Animal series—aparody of the hit show Breaking Bad. The crossover you didn't know you needed.
If You Give A Lab A Barking Bad is a gritty, yet adorable story about a Labrador Retriever who rises from lovable family pet to ruthless dog-treat kingpin after he creates a special blue biscuit that hooks the neighborhood dogs. A gripping tale of power, deception, and chew toys, this fifth book in the Addicted Animal Series takes an unflinching look at what happens when a "good boy" goes bad.
Even though the plotline obviously borrows heavily from that of "Breaking Bad," the fact of a story, rather than simply a cartoon animal getting intoxicated, makes LAB one of the strongest entries in this series. An industrious dog learns to make addictive blue dog biscuits, hooks the neighborhood, becomes a chewy-toy millionaire, and eliminates the competition. Can he still explain himself to his family? The illustrations are appealing and well-done. In case it isn't abundantly obvious, this picture book isn't for kids!
The there are few words in the book it’s more childish funny context illustrating of events to keep the story going the few times there is dialog is to show the mental state of the dogs and how he reached his thoughts and how he became a dog-treat kingpin.
