Storys about Tammy beginning at a young age and goes on in life living on the boat and more going through things in life but getting through them what amazing stories.. Definitely check them out they're good I really enjoyed these stories they were fantastic..
This series is absolutely spell binding. It’s so honest and raw straight from the life of such a strong woman. Her character traits are truly incredible as she grows into a woman and grandmother. I very much enjoyed the fishing part that showed the strength she showed to build a new life for her family. Idk if I would have ever chose this genre on my own but with my signed copy I just waited to get the others added. So these books and this particular author is inspirational by putting her work out for us to enjoy. Wonderful life story.
A lot of the scenarios didn't make sense,. Not seeing your family in 35 years in this day and time was unbelievable. Waiting until your dad died to visit his home so that you could feel close to him?? Waiting until your mother had dementia and in a home to get together with your sisters because that what mom always wanted? The whole drawn out deal telling how to set lobster traps?? The story felt empty in so many ways. I really wanted to like Tammy but for some reason I just couldn't.
The books were logical for the most part. The last 20 0/0 of volume 3 was not clearly logical when it came to finances. Where d I'd the money come from for everything? Sale of the big boat wouldn't cove it all.
This was very interesting as I learned about other ways of life. I did have a little trouble stay completely drawn into the books but I did enjoy lots of it.
